The one thing I like about this project, is that they have a decent time frame to work with, unlike another show that does em in 7 days, yea, right. You cant build and paint something to show condition in that kind of time. As far as the truck goes, chopping it would have been a lot better than loosing the roof, it just don't look right. But, to each his own.
Love the build hate the paint you should paint it Chevy fast orange. That beautiful build needs to stand out. Seems these boys have pist off a lot of truck guys and gals come on it is a cool roadster you can drive to parts store or the lumber yard.
exactly. they spit in the original designer of that 56 chevy pickups face. they ruined it. especially when the cut off the foward looking browed headlight housings. they fucked up the windshield, they ruined the bed, aw what am i talkin about, they fucked up the whole truck, and they wasted alot of money to do it!
I am probably not old enough to have an opinion but I like the old/rustic look of the truck.....can't they just give it a good engine and frame and leave the old exterior? I would love to drive something like that.....

08:42 Be careful what you decide is your "real" voice... A lot of guys settle in on a nasal pinched Kermit voice, this guy has gone full blown falsetto. Historical. I am a voice actor. I can throw around to most any tone. I'm not bragging (ok maybe just a little) but he does not use his true voice. His true voice is down in the "fake" one he "puts on". I am fascinated with this guy. I am not a trained in anything other than cartoon and commercial work , but, in my opinion, to find your true voice: Walk around saying "Um Hmm" to yourself relaxing and dropping the pitch and seeing how low you can comfortably get. Like constantly. In the car etc. The more the better. After at least a couple of hours of "Um Hmm" follow up with a "Yes". "Um Hmm" "Um Hmm" "Um Hmm" "Yes..." After time you will see that the lower register is where you you should be could be and you should end up with a richer warmer (sexier) voice. PLEASE feedback if it works this is just experiential and seat of the pants but my gut says share it.
Justin took steroids in his younger years to deal with seizures. The side effects are either hair loss or what you hear in his voice. I knew him for a while.

Do these guys know what ear plugs and safety equipment are? They say it's too noisy and they guy went to hospital 4 times in a week for using that cutting tool. Great cars guys but maybe some safety gear would help
The 1956 Chevy shop truck looks out of proportion. First is making a roadster out of it. The radical cutting of the roof and the custom made bed just does not look right with the untouched mid section of the cab. Which should have been sectioned to be more like the rest of the truck. Mercedes headlights are noething new and the hand made console and Corvette inspired dash is ridiculous. Very nice work on the frame but the body fell way short of the quality of the frame. Flat black with tan seats? Not saying that it is no good would be wrong. Each his own. But definitely knit my cup of tea.
