I love the way Dave can be hauling out copper pipe mostly buried one minute and the next lifting tiny little glass ornaments out of tissue paper! Great guy to watch.
Heck of a large cast iron pan. Pretty blue planter. Sheep? Some unusual things in market today. Those little porcelain animals are really sweet. I liked the larger head, really well done.
Hi Dave. I love copper ring with the stone. And the dog with the fire hydrant is my favorite 🤩. Really cool sale . Take care of you and your family. ☮️☮️☮️☮️🥰🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯
04:26 Those odd statues look like West African tourist art. Or maybe Kenyan. I'd love to see the marks on the back of the big horse pin. I think I saw words on it, and if it's the right maker it could pay for everything.
I think its a lamp and a stove, some have that hook to make a hanging lamp. Probably had one of those dark green glass shades not sure of year but probably 1905 ish all guesses but I have seen the colemans'
Always interesting to see how it works. When you restore and sell those things, 30 bucks is a good price. When you’re trying to flip them at fleamarkets, not so much.
@@castironkev Dave has mentioned that he used to sell at flea markets in NYC, and that’s surely the idea behind it. It’s the idea behind a lot of businesses, of course: buy low, take it to the right customers and sell high. But you need enough volume to make the trip worthwhile: I’m sure doubling your money on certain items is possible and sounds like a good deal, but you need to make that happen dozens of times on that one day, otherwise it’s just not worth it. It might make sense to offer flea market vendors decent (more or less fixed) prices and ask them to collect cast iron pots and pans and hold them for you, then make regular road trips to pick them up.
@@castironkev Oh, I just saw that you’re playing the same fields as Dave, so you’re probably fully clued up about this. Damnit, Dave - should have picked up that skillet! 😂

The brass ring with stone is by Rafael Canada. Great deal on that. Better deal on the Rebajes horse pin. You've got the eye!

Rebajes. That's what Cathy Alter commends here.
@@e.e.3583 That's what I was hoping for. Dominican sculptor/artist who made most of his money making copper jewelry and such in New York.
Hi Dave. Too me the big figure head looks like Odin. One of our old gods.

Sorry Dave! That's a French bulldog, not a boxer. Hey, what is your Ebay stores name? Can't find you. Thanks for doing youtube..

@@mm9773 you're pretty much right, but there are kind of higher end markets he could bring it to and double his money!

That blue planter has 'McCoy' on its bottom. Is it the ' Real McCoy"? ( joke)
'The real McCoy' means ' is it the real thing' or ' is it the genuine article?'
What is it about rusty, heavy frying pans and skillets that attracts you!

Can you help me? Bought a Wallace silver cup today I has 922 on it is that Sterling Silver or what? or is that the item number?
Sterling is 925 for 92.5% pure silver.

First class shipping is going to be deliberstly slowed down now and take as much as 30 days to get there. Its a bummer!
