Its spring over here and all my roses are in flower and have planted my veg garden for summer. Ive even put in tomatoes crossing my fingers as I did it!
Some years back I picked up a deck of cards from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Each card had a picture of the stars from that day. The box that they came in had tobacco advertising. They sold for over $200! I couldn't believe it. Those cards you got could easily sell for that or more. They were in a big box of cards which I sold some of them too. I still have most of them, never got around to listing them. I got them all for free for helping a lady paint her house (which she paid me for) and helping he with an estate sale. I bought some stuff & she gave me even more. The stuff I bought & that she gave me was all very expensive vintage collectibles from the 40's-60's. She gave me some little wood figures that sold for around $100+ each. Another one of those I couldn't believe it. They were by some famous artist named Fernandi or something like that. Plus a Llardo vase and so much more I can't even remember it all. I sold so much of it and for very good prices. I was one happy camper that's for sure. I think you'll do very well on all the stuff you got today Dave and that makes me happy.
I have the same complete (78) cards Tarot set with the original box and it is dated 1970 not that old. It was made in Switzerland. And this item if complete is not more than $30 max.

Dave, the red glass piece is a ships prism. It is mounted in the deck to draw light to lower decks. Most are clear or Aqua. Never seen a red one could be a repro. Check for wear on the bottom.
The carving on the first table warrants a closer look. Looks like a nice piece. Great little bank. Don’t see many good ones today. I like the tarot’s. Wow, huge bell. Try carrying that to the car, lol. Jack Daniels chest was a lovely find. Love painting of big-eyed girl.

I know if there family and passed down that’s fine but I always heard you needed new if you practiced it. I don’t know but that’s what I heard. I suppose you could do something to make them yours . The Tarot cards are very interesting. My roommate in college (1969) had a deck very similar to yours. Her Tarot cards were her grandmother's.
@john d 78 cards is the total not 72 and based on what he showed us I do not think that his package is complete.

I’m happy with vintage, not antique things. Also, V interesting to me that cards were Swiss. I’ve heard of Italian and French more commonly.

Was the big eyed girl a Keane painting?? They were big in the 60s.
The signature was on the side and looked like Caro Carando (also Mid-Century).
The prism is a lens but now I can't find what it is for, I have a light green one...look it up. Good one.
