Something interesting about Baabara's "lost item" scam. If you say "That's right," there is actually a second possible outcome. The villager (Baabara in this case) will give you the item for free, but she then ominously warns you about losing the trust from your neighbors. After the conversation ends, all of your neighbors will actually avoid talking with you, similar to how Tangy was acting! This game had some really cruel and unusual ways of punishing players for being careless, I swear.
D. Val That’s some deep cause-and-effect commentary for Animal Crossing standards. It’s like becoming friends with the person your best friends warned you about, and then refusing to talk to you afterwards.

Gracie was especially rude in this game. Inefficient Liver Since Candi called him a prize *pig*, that was a oink sound actually.
I did
I remember in New Leaf Biff told me I always liked doing pointless endeavours. Needless to say, that earned him a few hits from the net.
man love the original, sound effects along with the music
cloudzack1090 yes they should make a mod for the new horizons to replace the news sounds to the old ones
I remember lying to one of my villagers that their item was mine and then she said she was gonna tell everyone about it, and then almost none of my villagers would talk to me and I felt kinda bad.
I hope some of the rudeness is bought back in the Switch version! It gave them alot more character imo ;; Great video as always Jeff!!
If you mistreat them then sure but then going off on you because you refused a request is needlessly extreme
Gracie was especially rude in this game. She tends to make fun of your clothing and when she asks you to wash her car and you refuse to do so, she'll taunt you by saying that her car has a zebra pattern of dirt and that she could've spat on her car to make it cleaner. And then she'll be like "Get away from my car!"
Deserves a medal for patience and standing up for himself ;) xD
Funny how most of these are female characters.
Must be the types to ask to speak to the manager
Olivia Cummins lol dw im female too
@i change my pfp constantly The comments of the comment are pretty recent, but the comment itself is oooold
My school-life in a nutshell:

Everyone: tHiS dUmB--
Amelia is a bird who has a pet bird in a cage.
Some animals think that you are the jerk, but THEY are the jerk here
When baabra took the money I was so mad 😂
4:45
She just TAKES half of your money??
Doesn't that take ages to collect? What if you were on your way to pay your debts??
You're out of Luck this is OG Animal Crossing where the villagers do nothing to help the town but act all high and mighty.
I wish I had villagers like this in my town in acnl. Instead of getting mad at me, they just get all sad and pitiful then move on-
I never realized how savage the GC villagers were
i love how they're also somewhat self aware of what the player does all day.. lmao
imagine finally getting your dream villager and they're the biggest asshole to you
The villagers get mean so easily in the original Animal Crossing... Lol
Umm, I don't agree exactly or want to give away my item.
Villagers: So you have chosen DEATH
The villagers are mean spirited when the player doesn’t do what they tell them to do, now their mean spirit has been toned down over the years.
Baabara showing... empathy! Never saw that coming
Can you upload more videos in this "rudeness" playlist, please? I can't get enough of them. 😁
God this game is ruthless
3:40 I wonder what they say when you pick “What’s it to ya?”
I love how Jaiden from Jaiden Animations had the exact same encounter with Sue E as you did
anyone here who bullied Baabara in new horizon after they had to deal with her in the GC version?
She changed:(
BAABARA THE FLUFFY DEMON lol
I understand getting rid of some of these, but I still miss the spunk of old
Villagers.
"No morals, no cash. Most people tend to have one or the other." That was a savage was to call him out for lying about the bug zapper being his!
LMFAO!
That revenge part had me DYING!!! I can’t!! Lol with you running around with the balloon LMFAO!!!
