The study that makes those numbers was conducted on boys and girls at a time when boys had not hit puberty but girls had. So ofcourse the girls appeared to keep up.

Ian9toes IQ doesn’t increase with age, it’s just that you become more knowledgeable with age which isn’t the same as intelligence. The reason it is better to do IQ tests when the participant isn’t extremely young, is because by that age, the child will have acquired enough comprehension and other skills required to better complete the test. I would also like to revise what I said previously about the minimum age being 10. After doing more research, I would say the child should be at least 7 for the best results.
Don’t take IQ tests 100% seriously though. They are the best resource for intelligence testing but the IQ test has serious flaws. The biggest one is that you can learn how to take an IQ test and get a high score. The IQ test also doesn’t really take aspects of intelligence like reasoning and memory into account.
It's not just size. Its structure and connectivity. Also males have total higher brain volume even after controlling for height. They also score 3-5 points above in iq test.
Females had greater volume in the prefrontal cortex, orbitofrontal cortex, superior temporal cortex, lateral parietal cortex, and insula. Males have greater volume in the ventral temporal and occipital regions.
You could have that small difference in IQ in identical twins. The reason women haven't invented things isn't because of lack of IQ, they just don't care about it.
@@anjiernkr9223Actually you are not wrong here. Men have higher value in overall almost every region but not in proportion of total brain size. Means men have bigger prefrontal context then women but the ammount according to overall brain size is small. Men have less ratio but more volume.
