Garret u have been a massive inspiration for me. I got my first subwoofer ( Cerwin Vega pro audio 15) for my birthday this year. I’ve been watching since I was 8. Thanks for everything you have done for me
Saaame man, found this channel when I was youuuung like a decade ago, Thought this dude destroying shit like a psycho was funny ashell and now here I am with 4 18s 4 15s all hooked up lmfao. Peelin paint out here.

one of my favourite the legend is back ☺️
dude getting an hour-long Garret Claridge video is like winning the lottery!
Yes
Incredible video Garrett! Love the amount of care you put into your videos. It just makes it feel so comfortable and welcoming. Glad to see another upload from you, and I can't wait to see the blowouts of the Bose subs, the iMac speakers (going up in flames, that is 😂), and the JBL bluetooth drivers! I bet its going to be incredible!
Come for the speaker blow outs, stay for the cats (just kidding, these long videos are great). Those coil burn outs were insane! You should definitely get some proper slow-mo going of those burning up.
Hi!
I love your channel)
Super cool tech from the 50s. Nice to see you're still around
excellent display of vintage quality. these were cool.
Awesome video! Garret always has great content! Been watching since I wanna say middle school or early High School. Always fun to watch!
I feel sad for the old vintage speakers :(

The king of speaker destruction is back 😃
"No! Not the V I N T A G E!!!"
Exactly
As a re-cone hobbyist I hate this crap.
you will never be able to get original parts and probably never see the same model.
what a waste. rather see him do Sumthing productive instead of trashing grate quality parts.
R.I.P. to replicable vintage speakers thanks to this braindead crap that people like to see.
just go watch car crashes or pro audio fails.

I was literally just thinking about that bass i love you video you made that i watched many years ago, nice to hear it again.
The legend has returned!
Get this man to 100k already
My day went from just OK to Great, all from seeing a Garret Claridge Notification. Thank God you uploaded, lol.
Glad to see you back brother 😂👍
You know it's a good day when Garret uploads
What's up BEAT MASTER!? 😅
He is back!!! I have been watching you sense 2019 I’m 14 now and have 3 audio rigs lol!
I realy like vintage speakers, because they have a good sensitivity, and they get loud at 10 - 20W of input power. I have 10" Soviet speakers from 1970's, and the woofers have ALNICO magnets and they could play low frequencies, bellow 40Hz.
Thanks Garret for inspiring me to getting into speakers I’ve been watching you for 4 years and I went from a shit Logitech system to a full klipsch and denon 7.2 surround sound system thanks so much 🤙🏻🤙🏻
And the day is saved 😂
been watching you since i was 15 man lol its been a long time im 28 now and have always loved your videos. Garret Claridge my favorite youtube speaker guy keep up the good work man pls dont ever stop posting videos we love you man great video.
wow this was great! im waiting for those jbls!
I saw what you have in store for us and I’m am ready baby!
That tone generator website is timeless
That itsy bitsy spider put in some work and held up great! Wow!!
This IS the vintage, god dayum
Love the tape covering the technical pro db 30 😂
Just saw this pop up in my feed and the last time I watched your destruction was maybe 7 - 9 years ago lmao, I loved watching your videos. Gonna go find my favourites and have a great time watching them again.
Also, so cool to hear BILY on 60 year old speakers. Wonder if whoever assembled them on that day in the 50s thought they'd be destroyed by some music they couldn't even imagine would exist.
PS: I can appreciate and love your meerkat character now I've been turned into a furry since last watching your videos.
Hey! When will you make new updates about these JBL speakers you got your hands on?
that old no brand speaker might be and might I don't know yet but I think I found it "Vintage GE 12" Alnico Speaker, Smooth Cone, 3.2 or 4 ohms, 1957-1962, General Electric S1200D" I'm not a speaker nerd but it looks remarkably close to what it is
edit: just adding what my last comment was so I can keep everything in one comment to the first part of the video, (wow what a nice old piece of tech to be destroyed still history to see for the future also I'm impressed they work this well)
The woofer from the big pine cabinet looks like a marsland, i know this from your videos
oh wow that had never occurred to me its the same looking basket with an older magnet, good eye lol still im unsure what it is but amazing wild guess haha
I was about to say “isn’t that from the ‘cracking open the mystery speakers’ video?”
@@tobitechboy1461 Yup and that vintage barn speaker video
Cool garret your back 🤘🤘🤘⚡
Love your humor, hehe
Also, cool pfp!
yess a vid finally very nice🤩
Hay garret happy too see your doing well ^o^ Awsome video buddy!
a legend is back
hello, i'm your fan and i happy what you back!
He treated these with a lot more respect than normal
Garret bro,I’m still waiting for the next speaker smash party
I don’t think there will be a second one bro
the pros of being a drummer: you can play a hammer in time like Garret did @ 17:00 lol
Still waiting for the JBl destruction!!!
Me too!!!!!
The legend has returned
Those old 64 year old speakers have seen better days weird surround rot PA Speaker back in a 60s
I haven't seen this man in ages, I remember laughing my ass of at his apple2 destruction
I have one question what is the name from the jbl black double bass speaker with the big horn
4732
Do you have a track list used in this video? Some of those songs were pretty catchy.
My main 3 way vintage speakers are surprisingly all alnico, i think it was just before they started phasing them out. Anyway i still luv how they sound with my old Marantz.
BABE WAKE UP NEW GARRET CLARIDGE VIDEO DROPPED
Do you scrap the speakers once you're done with them?
Hello Garret, I liked the music at minute 9:55
Can you tell me what the music is called? pls
He’s backkk
This one is so good
Why are the coils on these so small for the speakers?
Cool stuff.
I've been watching you since I was 5 half
Another thought---could the crossover caps have PCB’S In those days caps didn’t have be marked if they had PCB. The caps look like oil filled. Would actually be better than electrolytic.
The legend posts
As soon as i saw the timestamp "Bell", i immediately knew what was about to happen
Some good Taco bell action at 29:25 😂
24:12 these indian songs are just fckin insane 😂😂
He is back, I don't know what's the deal with the older speaker magnets, they have such a weird design, could you clue me in on why they look like that?
AlNiCos look like dat
“ Not the vintage!” - Some time 11 years ago written on a Sansui speaker you destroyed
Garrett my son watches everyone of your videos and we want to try and recreate some of these blow outs he now has tons of speakers what would be some equipment that we need to give it a shot
Some old pa amp, peavey or something, you get them quite cheap sometimes, and there build like tanks, though be a little carefull, speaker outputs can sometimes shock you quite Bad.
I am so happy that you made an other video its been so long and please can you make a video of thoes massive jbl speakers 😊
Wehre is the jbl video?❤
Boa noite amigo gostei dos testes de auto falante show ótimo valeu amigo 👍🆗
Yayayayay 😊😊😊
Yayyy garrret ur back afte these long times🥹🥹🥹 and i thought that u gonna blow jbls
Would have been interesting to see these old woofers in a pa subwoofer cabinet lol
The old speakers are really Loud. they are designed for Instruments and not Bass.
BTW I love to see that a Video from you comes up.
Music name at 11:47 please?
Why do you take long to upload videos... Your videos the best..
First time I saw speakers like that
He is back in 7 months.. still great blowout speakers video
Bro is the Whistlingdisel of speakers
I have 2 sets of 1950's Jensen flexi air speakers at home and those things plow the doors off my house lol.
NOT THE VINTAGE!!!
That Apple Vintage computers in the garage smash video, is the best! now I gotta re-watch it lol
theres one hidden in this video as well :P
@@tony--james I can relate to Garret's anger in that video
Shit finally a video🔥
Garret, when u gonna do a blow speaker of jbl?
Hey, when are you gonna do the JBL video?
He did in his last video
Finally another video! I thought this man died
They definitely were better than anticipated. Especially with the silk dome tweeter, not bad at all
Watch out for PCBs in the capacitors that stuff is nasty and can’t easily be destroyed
Once again, I can say "NO NOT THE VINTAGE"
Unrelatedly I'd like to see a sequel to the Happy Wheels video
W upload
42H one could be Phlips ? The 3 look like they were used in stereo consoles from the 60s
Buena quemada garret🖒
Cool 😊😊😊😊est 😊😊😊😊

That looks like rolfe dewolfe in the background there
