- I noticed a few speakers around my studio and workshop storage that had gone without attention for a long time, They didn't quite fit into any of my video themes over the past year so today the selection is the most random ever!

The speaker you've blown is one of the satellites, which are not meant to be played without the subwoofer.

The Kenwood speaker was one tough customer!When you put the drink in it-that speaker could make a good cocktail shaker at the bar!When I spooked speakers long ago with 120V and a variac-the speakers ended up in a radio station tower field.When I mowed the field(OT pay was GREAT!)The 15Hp tractor mowing deck blades would knock the magnets off the speaker frame.In the case of ceramic magnets-pulverized them!Had some rally good nicks in the blades to grind out!No one was in the tower field when the magnets were encountered.Another time a Deere crawler trackhoe was doing work in the field-left another speaker under one of the crawler treads-that speaker was FLAT afterward!!!!

those bose are designed to be airtight seal, that seal was broken when the dust caps were removed, changed. how the speakers sound, yes dust caps can make the difference in how speakers sound, not saying they would have sounded any better with the dust caps on, they were also designed to be more mid rangy

Have you ever heard of the vintage Marantz imperial 6s I have a pair and they demolish the realistics optimus or novas look em up if ya don’t know bout em
I have APC back-ups. That was my first thought when I heard the beeping. I found out that if you have something plugged into the battery backup portion of the APC that requires too much amps it almost like overloads the circuitry and for a split second switches over to battery mode or something weird.
Yeah either that or just from voltage drop because of the big amps, mine will switch to battery if a heavy bass note plays at high volume,

I wonder if the beeping was from a UPS or power conditioner or something. Maybe a heavy load from the amp may have made the voltage drop a bit, causing one of those to beep
I have a Sears 20606 stereo! I would try to blow the speakers, but for some reason, it uses a 3.5 mm jack to connect the speakers.

I’m fairly certain that that Bluetooth speaker was an 808 Thump Bluetooth Speaker as I have on and I’ve opened a broken one before. It costed like $20 at Walmart and was pretty loud

Proper tuning for that port and cabinet size may be only 1/2" for the desired frequency.

I had a Kenwood subwoofer without a built in amp but I was good but when we moved to our new house I get destroyed in the moving truck but I remember it was a monster beast sub with bass and my friend has some Kenwood 3 way speakers with a 15 in woofer with inverted foam and a harman karman stereo receiver and the speakers sound pretty good 👌

24:26 may be a stereo amp and that is an easy solution to convert the signal to mono. Would make sense of there are stereo speaker outputs cause then they don’t have to convert to mono

I saw the duration of the video 25:29 it feels like 1 plate is so heavy that the subwoofer can lift the speaker leaf, it's really crazy, until it's full weight, the subwoofer is starting to break and break. Wow, the 10 inch speaker is strong and durable.

Hey I am wanting to get a pair of 8 inch powered pa speakers for under 250. I’m looking at the alto tx208 and the kustom pa50 any thoughts on what to get?

the BOSE is meant for high frequency not low. that why there is no Bass as its basically tweeters you put in the corners of your living room ceiling. it would come with a Sub system for the lows.
With him saying that they are like midranges he meant that they have no highs. Obviously speakers like that can't reproduce low frequencies..

the reason there may have been a fake port is that there may be 2 different models that shared the same cabinet and one had a front port and the other had a side port.
