Dear lord, it's wonderful seeing Mr Brecker in such a great shape. Thanks for sharing, Emmet.
Yes!
Kyle must be telepathic. How else can he predict Emmet so well! Crazy player.
My theory is that he plays in a hypnotic trance.
Pratice.
the almighty chad shredding on harmony for nearly five straight minutes. unbelievably incredible stamina. wow.
Randy helped shaped the sound of jazz trumpet, what a legend. Chad LB keeps up well too, I'm sure Michael Brecker would be proud!
This is what it’s all about . Everyone is sounding great , but Randy Brecker is awesome ! 76 years old ! Oh My !!!!
YASUSHI!!!!!
6:08 Randy's gesture! 🔥
Funny story I was playing a wedding out east on Long island like 20 years ago and kept on seeing a guy on his cellphone off to the side, thinking to myself this guy looks like Randy Brecker but without longer hair must of been when he first cut it off, not realizing that it was him until he was asked to come up and play as a special guest .What an honor to play a few tunes with him and his wife Ada Rovati on tenor! BTW Thanks Chad I am using Nexus reeds all the time now! This tune was "burni'n"! thanks for posting it :)
Not the Brecker Bros but Randy is liking what he hears. Off the chart energy from all
This drummer is out of this world !!!thank you guys !
How much fun can music be? That much!!
Love Randy, he sounds great! 🔥❤️
Randy be spittin' straight facts
I'm speechless.......
Oh man, this is out of this world! So ingenious, so full of ideas.
Muito bommmmm
This is what it’s all about! Spontaneous collaboration!!
This one's really good!
Insane
Killer.
You guys are playing it in E flat, Coltrane played it in C,. It seems to be 50/50 with the recordings I've checked out. What's the hip key?
Rarely play in C at jams
Eb
Eb is the hip key
@@tylerheintzen722 thanks, what about"Like someone in love" a lot of the old records have it in A flat, Coltrane Art Blakey Kenny Burell, Bill Evans played it in F. The real book has it in E flat. If you listen to the real book, you will play Green dolphin street in C and that is a big no no. I think before Miles played Stella in B flat,it was originally played in G.
@@davidsheriff9274 they do this tune with another sax player and they play it in C. I would just learn it in the 2 keys. Same with Green Dolphin and Like Someone in Love.
It was only a matter of time before Coltrane changes with Chad lmfao
Giant steps at 5:02 hehehe
1235s!!
Anyone transcribed this yet?
I'm working on transcribing emmet's part
