I had the regular R Design which is a bit less power and more everyday suspension and wheels. I think it would have been a nice touch if the sport mode on the gauges matched the blue of the interior trim. I only use the sport mode because of the digital speedometer. It's just easier for me at least.
boondox max every review I have read said it rides like a brick. I think the wheels look great but are terribly impractical on crappy American roads. I also wouldn't want to have to replace those shocks. they are like 10k aren't they? it is a sweet car though. But dated inside - can't wait for the new model.
David Street I haven't seen any reviews like that. The ride is stiff but much better than the R design. I own one and live in Boston and our roads are awful. Rides way better than my Maxima. The shocks are expensive but so is every high performance car. Yes the interior is a little dated but so is the Audi and BMW. Only 1500 of these were made with 246 sent to USA so it's a very rare and special car. That alone makes this car worth the money.
MotoringMiddleEast That's a shame, looking on the Volvo UK website, it also seems as though only the V60 Polestar is available there. This car with a 6 speed manual would be a dream, remap the engine and fly!
being Volvo fan \i need to say such car does not make a lot of sense: it is too expensive for the performance it offers and not powerful and luxury enough to compete with the real sports cars like RS4 or M3. It can easily be outperformed by much cheaper cars like Ford Focus RS or Peugeot GT- do not believe? Simply check 0-200 accel time and what these cars can do on a track
myslecinaczej It doesn't compete with the M3 or RS. It competes with the Audi S4 and BMW 340i. A M3 optioned like the Volvo cost 80k and the same goes for Audi RS. It's a better bargain then both those cars. The Volvo is also way more exclusive then both those cars. Only 1500 made for 2016 so good luck seeing one on the street. I see M3 everyday

David Street Polestar rides much better than the R Design due to the adjustable Ohlins dampers.

true the car costs to much for what it offers one of my favorite channels on cars
It’s not a twin turbo but a single turbo
are you 100% sure its a twin turbo and not a twin scroll turbo? just sayin
+TheArrogantOne oh, sorry, I didnt see someone else already commented about that

+MotoringMiddleEast And that is a double shame as the old T5 cars used to have a manual option, 5 speed I think...
