Livermore Poets Laureate, Past and Present

The Livermore Public Library and Poet Laureate Peggy Schimmelman celebrated the launch of Verse on the Vine, a series featuring renowned poets from the Bay Area and beyond. This introductory event, titled Livermore Poets Laureate, Past and Present, featured Connie Post (Poet Laureate 2005-2009), Cher Wollard (Poet Laureate 2009-2013), Kevin Gunn (Poet Laureate 2013-2017), Cynthia Patton (Poet Laureate 2017-2022), and Peggy Schimmelman (Poet Laureate July 2022 - Present) reading poetic tributes to Livermore from their published works. An open mic followed the formal presentations.
