Saint Mickael the archangel is the great angel of Purgatory, according to « The Purgatory Manuscript ». Ask him to intercede. To please the archangel, please the holy souls in Purgatory, by teaching about praying for them.
There is an indulgence for bowing one's head at the name of Jesus. I do so when hearing, saying or reading the Holy Name and offer it up for a particular relative who was a difficult person in life.
Your words are very inspiring, Álvaro. Pray for all of us who follow you because we, like you, have this little big mission to help the Souls in Purgatory, and it’s not easy, but, like you said, it’s always easier to sacrifice and suffer here on earth than in Purgatory, and, if it’s our mission to help them by The Father’s Perfect Will, then, if we do not reach this purpose, our life will be so incomplete when we die. If God chose us to help the Souls in Purgatory, He will also help us with angels, with strength and with increased faith to fulfill this mission.
I also respectfully disagree with asking for this gift. If God wants you to have it, He will let you know and you can embrace it. If you ask for it it could be dangerous as the other side (evil) is always ready to step in.
I think that we humbly ask God, “God, if it is your will, and only if it is your will, and would be good for my soul, please give me gifts in relation to Purgatory.” And of course - We should always accept a “no” as lovingly as we accept a “yes” - that you love the Holy Souls is itself a tremendous gift!!!!!!

@AngelaContreras-p1z Angela, there is what is called "the Heroic Sacrifice" whereby a person offers ALL their merits and indulgences they gained in their life, for the Poor Souls, keeping not one for themselves. It is a scary thought to have not one merit or grace to show for oneself at the moment of death, but such a sacrifice does not go unrewarded, for Heaven is never outdone in generosity. 😊🙏🙏🙏
You sprinkle it around you and say something like, "May this holy water bless The Poor Souls in Purgatory in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen." A priest taught me this a couple of years ago when my aunt was dying but she was 2 states away and I had no way to get to her. I've sprinkled it for the Poor Souls as well.
I am often woken up from deep sleep by dreaming of 3 knocks on the door or 3 rings on the door bell. When I fully wake up I know it was a dream. It happens intermittently but it has been going on for 2 or 3 years now. I need to take it seriously but I dont know how to interpret it. I have thought of the famous painting of Christ knocking on the door but I don't think that is it as He is already Lord of my life. Can you help with an interpretation?
@Drayton627 Yes. Many of us are awakened in the middle of a sound sleep, sometimes nightly. It is a "call to prayer". Since we usually don't know what to pray for, we pray that God's Will be done for whomever is needing prayer, or whatever is happening right then.
It would be good to know what types of sacrifices were offered to God. Are they sacrifices of time in prayer or money or more austere like giving up comforts etc?
@mgpc. In a word...YES. All the above, for a longer answer. 😊 ANYTHING that causes you pain, sorrow, discomfort, irritation, etc., can be used as an offering for the Poor Souls! Also, ANY prayers, spiritual reading, Holy Masses (of course), any merits or indulgences YOU gain, can also be offered for their relief.
What do you mean by receive this gift here on earth? Do you mean to suffer for penance now rather than in Purgatory or do you mean help the holy souls now?
Yes suffer here on earth for the poor souls in purgatory.... That's how many people became saints..... Padre Pio is an example... He was asked by Jesus.
The lower levels can feel the heat from Hell and hear the screams and suffering from what I’ve read about it. Very unpleasant place but there is hope unlike Hell where there is none
Better purgatory than hell..... Purgatory you got hope..... Apparently the average stay there is 40 years.... But there is a pope who's condemned to purgatory for 1400 years.... Guess who it is

@salpellegrino8359 They are not called Saints until they reach Heaven. It is exceedingly rare that ANYONE goes straight to Heaven, for we all have faults, failings, neglects, sins, etc., for which we have not sufficiently done Penance. Even the greatest Saints have faults (though rarely in abundance) and often just "pass through" Purgatory, "burning them off", so to speak. Remember: we must be PERFECT, as our Heavenly Father is Perfect, before we can bear His Presence and His Gaze upon us. Hope this helps a bit?
Well, it's the same as what we say to atheists. It's better to believe than not believe. For them, believing there is a God and living according to His will won't hurt. The worst that happens is they die and nothing and they know nothing (they were right, but don't know it) OR they die and find out it's all real and after having lived according to God's will, they are rewarded with heaven. Same with the issue of purgatory. There is more Scripture support for purgatory than against.
You can believe in purgatory without it being this extreme or negative, my sister. It is in the Bible-Jesus alluded to it when He said that you would have to "pay every penny" until you get out of jail. He was not talking about earthly jail, of course. (He wouldn't waste our time or His talking about something like bail. He was talking about spiritual things). That's why He said to "make peace," and render an account for your debts ON THE WAY. That means now. While we are on Earth. For sure, there's a purgation after death if we did not clean up things before we departed. But it is still and always a mercy. This video emphasizes the dark feelings about it. But at the end of the day, if you are not squeaky clean perfect, how can you expect to go through those pearly gates? But if you believe in Jesus, and trust in Him, how can you go to Hell? You will go to Heaven, but if you were lying, and swearing, and gossiping, and wasting your time, and being unkind to your family, even though you loved the Lord and were baptized, but never made up for the harm you caused while alive, you will have to spend some times cleaning these effects of these sins (which were forgiven) from your soul. But it is entirely avoidable. St. Therese said to NEVER say you have to go to purgatory. She urged us not to believe that at all. She said it made God sad to hear that. He gives us all the means. I would say pray that you avoid it.
I'm really finding that Catholics are nowhere near as monolithic in views as having a magisterium suggests. All over the place and in my own relationships with Catholic clergy, there is agreement that purgatory is not a place for a time but a process of purgation at death. There are degrees of purgation based on the work done in love and for self, etc. But there' no one "in there" needing to be prayed out. According to priests and a nun and a bishop I know as well as a few I've engaged on YT. I really don't get it. Also "she was in purgatory for a year..." is outright not in line with Catholic teaching about leaving earth meaning stepping out of time.
@AndrewKendall71 What you are "finding", dear sir, is actual, outright HERESY. Yes, this IS "in line with" actual Magisterium! Know you not that MOST "Catholics", including the hierarchy, do NOT believe in the Defined Dogmas and Doctrines (the ACTUAL Magisterium) of the Church, anymore? Most Catholics are material heretics, at the very least. They are responsible for knowing the Faith, yet do not bother learning about it. A fatal mistake on their part, but they will not listen when they are told this. People hate being shown their errors...Pride.
This is the first of your videos that I strongly disagree with. I made the St. Louis De Montfort consecration. I includes not asking for extraordinary things. I am not going to Purgatory for not asking to see souls. I am doing the same prayers etc that I would do anyway. God sends me names like the time I found a funeral Mass leaflet at my feet in a parking lot.
If I only said things you agreed with…what would be the fun in that?? Besides…God is all-knowing and all-powerful - he can and does say no to us to many of our requests - in his goodness - he would never give us something that wasn’t good for us - if we ask humbly - he can always says Yes or No - we can never force Him and so should trust in his judgement
Rob, understand this: Jesus NEVER lied, exaggerated, nor misled anyone. He said what He meant, and meant precisely what He said. This is no parable. The Jews believed in Purgatory (a place of cleansing the soul...to purge from the effects of lifelong sin), and still do. They KNOW it exists. The Catholic Faith is the CONTINUATION of the Old Faith: It is the "fulfillment of the Law" (Jesus' Once, Holy Sacrifice). "For I come not to abolish the Law, but to FULFILL it." *Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing. [Matthew 5:26]
I CANNOT BELIEVE A LOVING GOD, GIVES HUMANS ABOUT 80 YEARS OF LIFE ON EARTH. THEN...PUNISHES IN A PURGATORY, OR HELL. ENJOY EARTH! WALK IN A RAIN- GET UP EARLY SEE A SUNRISE- AFTER DARK LOOK UP AT THE MOON! EXAMINE A TINY CLOVER FLOWER! DELIGHT IN EARTH AS ....GOD HAS PLACED YOU IN IT! THANK HIM FOR ALL THE SENSES HE GIVES YOU TO , ENJOY EARTH. CHILDREN DO!
Souls in purgatory willingly suffer from what I’ve read about it. They understand why they are there and know their need for purification. Almost like going to a wedding with a dirty clothes
Do you think a loving God should send someone who hurt others straight to heaven? Does that sound right to the victims of their crimes? Do you think a loving God should send them to eternal hell for all time so their victims get justice? With no purgatory, these are the conclusions.
BLESSINGS... college kids do not know where their BLESSINGS come from! They come from... And don’t forget that Saint Peter’s bones are buried at the Vatican. Matthew 16:18- Jesus said to Simon, “ I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.”
I wouldn't assume people you don't know don't have a personal relationship with Jesus. You'd be surprised just how close catholics are to Jesus. I have personal relationship with Jesus and can prove it. Many of us are like this. If you don't take His body and blood, you don't abide in Him and therefore have no life in you. You've been lied to your entire life. God bless you. I pray in Jesus name that He frees all with the mental and spiritual block Satan has put in the divided Protestant churches and brings them home.
Jesus started a Church and the Apostles were the first priests. The Church Jesus started is the Catholic Church. Catholics are the otiginal Christians. You can't have a relationship with Jesus without doing what He says. That's a religion. You have a better relationship with Jesus in His Church.

How can you offer masses to them? Requesting specific masses for them or intending to dedicate it to them by yourself through attendance?
@@christthekingpublishersone Mass for one deceased person you know
Masses also refers to the Mass during All Souls Day November 2nd and the Mass on Christmas Day (especially the Traditional Latin Mass )
These are the 8 MAIN MOST COMMON ways Catholics can pray for the souls of the faithfully departed DAILY - there are other more private devotions not as common but the 8 above are the most familiar most common and most traditional Catholic ways of praying for the souls in Purgatory
Saint Mickael the archangel is the great angel of Purgatory, according to « The Purgatory Manuscript ».
Ask him to intercede.
To please the archangel, please the holy souls in Purgatory, by teaching about praying for them.
St John of the Cross says: don’t ask for private revelations. If you ask someone else may come…
Let it come. Test the spirits.
Wonderful video! I would GLADLY accept these gifts to help the souls in Purgatory
There is an indulgence for bowing one's head at the name of Jesus. I do so when hearing, saying or reading the Holy Name and offer it up for a particular relative who was a difficult person in life.
Good. There is a 100 day indulgence every time one makes the sign of the cross with holy water.
@@jdosvd Thank you, I didn't know about that one, I will apply it to a soul.
Thank you Alvaro
Aw so much to learn ,thank you Alvaro GOD BLESS YOU
Holy Spirit help me see the souls in purgatory
Thank you.
I pray most every night. It makes me feel goodas if they are thanking me.
Thanks!
I also respectfully disagree with asking for this gift. If God wants you to have it, He will let you know and you can embrace it. If you ask for it it could be dangerous as the other side (evil) is always ready to step in.
Please do one for Priests, talk about oblivion. Thank you
TY Alvaro I enjoy the book references.
Is there a special prayer we should say to receive this "gift" of helping the Holy Souls in this extra ordinary way?
I think that we humbly ask God, “God, if it is your will, and only if it is your will, and would be good for my soul, please give me gifts in relation to Purgatory.” And of course -
We should always accept a “no” as lovingly as we accept a “yes” - that you love the Holy Souls is itself a tremendous gift!!!!!!
@@UniquelyMary perfect. Thank you
Pray the Chaplet of St Gertrude. Eternal Father, I offer You the most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.
Give them a plenary indulgence, masses,Rosary please.
As Father Shoppe says in his classic book " Purgatory " : Let's face it. Almost all of us are going there. So prepare Now !!!
Offer Masses, Rosary and Stations of the cross
Some have the gift but are not practicing Christians and so don’t know what is happening
Can you talk about the souls in the deepest part of purgatory and why they are there.
Look up Gloria Polo testimony. She explains it well.
Deathbed conversions, sinful life, family members fervent prayers and sacrifices from what I’ve read.
@pgrut8880
Late-in-life conversions (from a very sinful life) with little time to make reparations. 🙏🙏🙏
Oh No! Its terrible there. Please pray for them.
Offer them plenary indulgences, partial indulgences please.
Masses, stationsofthecross, novena,Rosaries etc

Do you think if we offer up our indulgences that we receive to the poor souls in purgatory it may be granted?? I just had thia thought in my head and wonder if were able to do that!? I want to save as many as I can..
God is so merciful that he accepts our indulgences and grants them more grace since it’s offered for the poor souls
@AngelaContreras-p1z
Angela, there is what is called "the Heroic Sacrifice" whereby a person offers ALL their merits and indulgences they gained in their life, for the Poor Souls, keeping not one for themselves.
It is a scary thought to have not one merit or grace to show for oneself at the moment of death, but such a sacrifice does not go unrewarded, for Heaven is never outdone in generosity. 😊🙏🙏🙏
@@fairyspunfibers9098Well spoken Lady !

With respect, I don't think we should ask God for spiritual revelations or abilities that aren't needed.
You need to let God decide which spiritual revelations or abilities are needed. That is not for you to decide.
@amyschlegel1180 asking God doesn’t exclude that but in fact includes it MORE than by not asking for anything. That’s precisely why we ASK not Demand.
How do you use holy water for the holy souls in purgatory?
You sprinkle it around you and say something like, "May this holy water bless The Poor Souls in Purgatory in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen." A priest taught me this a couple of years ago when my aunt was dying but she was 2 states away and I had no way to get to her. I've sprinkled it for the Poor Souls as well.
No Purgatory
On one of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary she spoke to the girls about a local girl being in purgatory tell the end of time.
@@lorrainem8234 thank you!
@@CarolBuzzattoYou're going to be very surprised when you are sent there and while you are there.
@Drayton627
Yes. Many of us are awakened in the middle of a sound sleep, sometimes nightly. It is a "call to prayer". Since we usually don't know what to pray for, we pray that God's Will be done for whomever is needing prayer, or whatever is happening right then.
@@fairyspunfibers9098 I hadn't thought of that. Thank you.
What are indulgent prayers for poor souls.
It would be good to know what types of sacrifices were offered to God. Are they sacrifices of time in prayer or money or more austere like giving up comforts etc?
@mgpc.
In a word...YES.
All the above, for a longer answer. 😊
ANYTHING that causes you pain, sorrow, discomfort, irritation, etc., can be used as an offering for the Poor Souls!
Well, whatever gifts God wants to give us in reference to helping the poor souls
Yes suffer here on earth for the poor souls in purgatory.... That's how many people became saints..... Padre Pio is an example... He was asked by Jesus.
Purgatory sounds like Hell, the lower astral plane.
Guess who it is
I dont get it..😢if the offered masses are not able to open the gates of heaven for these souls.. how can we be certain rosaries or st. gertrude chaplet works for their benefit..?
I have looked but not found any evidence of the Church giving an opinion on the authenticity of these revelations.
She submitted all of her testimony to many local priests and was even written to by the Pope at the time. However all the writings are in German.
Thanks for this information.

Question. How can a child under the age of 7 (baptized Catholic) die and go straight to heaven. It always puzzled me why we don't have a party and rejoice. I've NEVER heard anyone congratulate the parents and say happy for your loss.
Why wouldn't a child go straight to heaven. A child is pure

@@chommie5350 What makes you think I'm not pure? That statement is you judging in the way only God can judge. That lady could be false. Or maybe he went to purgatory. Not all children under age 7 are innocent. There are more children in hell and purgatory than you realize.
“…Holy Saints in purgatory….”
How can that be?!?
@salpellegrino8359
They are not called Saints until they reach Heaven.
Yes, and what does that matter?
Just because armageddon happens before purgatory is empty, doesnt mean that the white throne judgement does.
Huh... What the heck are you talking about 😂
Yeahhhh, we don't "do" newage-rhymes-with-sewage claptrap. Everything like that really IS from the devil. Ignore that kind of "prophecy".
Sanford Passage
Did you ever read Paul Wallis’s book on Eden , it might shock you .⛪️🛸
I don’t know if I should believe in purgatory or not.
If you pray for these souls, God will reveal the truth to you 😊go ahead you will see
Will Hillary be in purgatory
That is not good news. That is horrible news. If I believed in purgatory I would be depressed out of my mind. Thank goodness I don't.
@AndrewKendall71
What you are "finding", dear sir, is actual, outright HERESY.
Thank you for your reply. Thank you for the rosary. Thank you for your devotion to the holy souls.
What if it was just the wind that blew the funeral notice there and not any divine intervention 😂
@chommie5350
...and what if it wasn't? There really is NO such thing as "coincidence". Period.
Um can anyone here direct me to the scripture about purgatory
1 Corinthians 3:15
Rob, understand this: Jesus NEVER lied, exaggerated, nor misled anyone. He said what He meant, and meant precisely what He said. This is no parable. The Jews believed in Purgatory (a place of cleansing the soul...to purge from the effects of lifelong sin), and still do. They KNOW it exists. The Catholic Faith is the CONTINUATION of the Old Faith: It is the "fulfillment of the Law" (Jesus' Once, Holy Sacrifice). "For I come not to abolish the Law, but to FULFILL it."
*Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing.
Please: don’t use Google translate. Use DeepL. That’s much more accurate.

This is such ridiculous stuff..omg..are we all losing our minds..???

I had a dream few years ago, I heard Jesus voice and he showed me my grandma in a very desolate and lonely place. He said the name of the place is Comeuppance. English is not my native language so I had to google the meaning. When I knew, I wailed and was so in distress. I know she is in purgatory suffering so much. I asked all of my family for prayers and masses. While I pray for others, she is my main focus. Few years later, I saw her in a dream. She looked so young and wore a white dress. She told me that she is drinking water that is so pure. I believe she made it to heaven already(she still gets included in my prayers just in case). Jesus is most kind.
Thank you.
