What I've learned in my experience with praying for the Holy souls is that u can't love the holy souls without longing for the conversion of sinners. Both are tied together

I do not know if I an a Seraphic soul, but I do know that the Lord and my guardian angel intervened on a number of occasions to prevent my death. My guardian angel rescued me from a kidnapping, and I landed in the hospital with no explanation the following day as to how I got there. I am completely unworthy of this calling if it is one for me. I do know that my heart and my body is ignited feeling the divinity of the Lord every time I receive holy communion.
The fact there are souls who do not believe in God and you do...There are souls who do not believe in Jesus Christ and you do..There are souls who do not love and believe in Mother Mary and other saints but you do..I think you are already a seraphic soul ..where more will be needed from you 😢

St. John of the Cross wrote about the purgatory one goes through before union of the soul with God is realized. A fragment: "Sometimes this experience is so vivid that it seems to the soul that it sees hell and perdition open before it. These are the ones who go down into hell alive [Ps. 55:15], since their purgation on earth is similar to what takes place there. For this purgation is what would have to be undergone there. The soul that endures it here on earth either does not enter that place, or is detained there for only a short while. It gains more in one hour here on earth by this purgation than it would in many there." ~St. John of the Cross, Dark Night, Book II, Chapter 6, § 6.
She may deliver us but how long will that be, I do say the rosary everyday or I just say more the day before I will be very busy. IF YOU WEAR THE SCAPULAR, Mary will deliver u within days. But in purgatory 1 minute seems like a year. I want to be a martyr so I can get to HEAVEN, ASAP.
With the scapular it is called the sabbatine privilege: wear the scapular with devotion, pray the little office of Mary daily, or get permission from the priest to say the rosary daily, or abstain on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (this was for those who could not read the office and were generally illiterate). The privilege is this, the Saturday after you die you will be delivered from purgatory. If you die on Saturday, you are delivered immediately.

@@patriciaw4270 Do you mean Baptism ? (A Sacrament only performed once.) Catholics don't use the phrase, because every time we participate in one of the 7 Sacraments, we are "born again". (3 Sacraments are to be undergone several times : Confession/Reconciliation, Communion, Anointing of the Sick.) Baptism, Confirmation, Matrimony, and Holy Orders are only performed once.
@@patriciaw4270 The two cannot be separated. A person of faith willingly undergoes the Sacraments. The initiation Sacraments are the duty of parents towards their children. (Baptism, Communion, Confimation) A person of inadequate faith can end up condemning themselves if they abuse Sacraments knowingly. We cannot take Communion without a prior Confession. There are rules to making the Confession the right way, otherwise the Confession is invalid or sacrilegious. If we took Communion after a sacrilegious Confession, the Communion would also be sacrilegious. We would go to hell if we die outside of the state of grace. Catholicism takes years to learn. It's not a quick 'faith vs. works', etc debate. We have a lower/hotter spot awaiting us in hell for misusing the graces we are offered, as opposed to Protestants.

Being a Catholic in a state of grace who does all of what you mentioned, to the best of my knowledge, does not automatically make me a seraphic soul, just like it was not a call on all of the other grace-filled nuns in St. Faustina's convent. All of the rest of you chiming in might be -- and I hope so -- but I am going to trust God to lead me to whatever degree of glory He prefers. Reading the lives and writing of some great saints, paired with some honest self-reflection in prayer, shows me a much higher set of graces that some have received that I have not. I will do my best in Christ and just trust Him to get me to the place He desires me to be.

I start RCIA in the fall. I've been surrounded by many things Catholic in the last 22 years but only in the last 3 have I finally been making my way (and out of new age which was for about 3 years and not fully emersed) especially after a major crisis where I discovered that I had thought I had some faith when in fact I had none. It's been quite the journey. I have been more and more drawn to the Rosary and learning about it. Purgatory though has been very new to me and I have to be careful not to become scrupulous over this. I think this may make me freeze up. I realize that it's a trap to get hung up on it. I tried the St. Gertrude prayers to release 10000 souls and it felt very strange and I didn't connect. But after seeing this video and seeing your comment, I realize that I can still do something... add 3 St. Gertrude prayers at the end of the rosary. That is something I can happily manage. When that came to my mind, I got some goosebumps and felt a surge of emotion.

Revelation 21:27 (God tells us that nothing imperfect can enter into heaven) 27but nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who does abominable things or tells lies.” The place that is to be entered (the place to which this passage refers) is heaven (read the text around it for context). The Bible clearly implies a place for an intermediate state of purification after we die in the many passages which tell that God will reward or punish according to a person’s life. 1 Peter 3:18-19 (Especially note 19) 18 Christ himself died once and for all for sins, the upright for the sake of the guilty, to lead us to God. In the body he was put to death, in the spirit he was raised to life, 19 and, in the spirit, he went to preach to the spirits in prison. The prison would be purgatory, because there's no point in preaching to people in Hell; because they will never get out. Ponder the following example. Imagine a Christian man, justified by the Lord, loses his temper and yells at his next door neighbours for letting their dog dig a hole in his yard. We can see that the man treated his neighbours rudely, albeit the neighbour’s behavior was also reprehensible. His actions would be considered a light sin (called venial sins by the Catholic Church). It’s not of the same moral weight as theft or murder, but it’s still a sin. After shouting at the neighbours, with all the anger and stress in his body the man walks into his house, has a heart attack, and dies having just committed a small sin in the final moments of his life. Remember, this man is Christian and justified by the Lord, yet has committed a sin. Does he go to heaven or does he go to hell? Are all sins created equal? No, all sins are not equal and even justified men of the Lord can make mistakes and sin. If purgatory didn’t exist, the man would go to hell for his small sin. God’s mercy is so great and our God is a just God that it seems unfathomable that he would condemn a justified man to hell for a small, yet unrepented sin. The man’s soul is dirty. His actions have defiled his soul, but not the point where he has cut himself off from God. Only mortal sins cut off a person from God’s grace. So, the man, having been justified by the Lord, is destined for heaven, yet his soul is defiled by his sin (Matthew 12:36, 15:18). His soul is in need of cleansing because nothing defiled can enter heaven. This is the purpose of purgatory. Out of mercy and love God sends the man through purgatory on his way to heaven so that his soul can be purified to be able to join God in heaven. Remember, purgatory is not a second chance for conversion; the man is already justified. If there is no place of intermediate state of purification, the man would be damned to hell! Who would be saved? Those who teach against purgatory teach an unreasonable doctrine. 1 Corinthians 3:9-15 9 After all, we do share in God's work; you are God's farm, God's building. 10 By the grace of God which was given to me, I laid the foundations like a trained master-builder, and someone else is building on them. Now each one must be careful how he does the building. 11 For nobody can lay down any other foundation than the one which is there already, namely Jesus Christ. 12 On this foundation, different people may build in gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw 13 but each person's handiwork will be shown for what it is. The Day which dawns in fire will make it clear and the fire itself will test the quality of each person's work. 14 The one whose work stands up to it will be given his wages; 15 the one whose work is burnt down will suffer the loss of it, though he himself will be saved; he will be saved as someone might expect to be saved from a fire. This passage speaks of the believer being refined by fire. It is a clear indication of a refining place, purgatory.

I❤m so grateful God has chosen each of us for this service so few think to pray for the souls in purgatory and I know its not deliberate that people neglect to pray for family members but it is very sad so many suffer unaided by prayers from loved ones for such a long time. Recently before praying for the Holy Souls, I have been asking the Holy Angels and Saints to pray with me for them, making my prayers much more perfect and of greater value. Thankgoodness for our guardian Angels who can assist us in memories of all we need to do. When realization hits the soul of the mighty task we need to daily take up and do, it is both a burden and a merit. I pray God will increase in me the perserverance and committment necessary to pick up and carry this cross daily. I pray God will increase my zeal fervour and passion to pray so I can be of better use as one of his instruments.❤🙏❤🙏❤

I am trying my best to be obedient...And on a daily basis I pray the rosary in Latin then Lithany of The Blessed V. Mary then Novena to God the Father then Prayers for Souls in Purgatory and Fr. Rookie miracle prayer. In the afternoon at 3.00pm I pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy also dedicated to the Souls In Purgatory. Its been my routine from 3.00am onwards.

Purgatory becoming empty eventually , is inevitable. All their purification is completed according to a finite measure. It's not endless like hell. Also the very last person to be procreated by a man & woman in marriage will occur , because the resurrected saints will have spiritualized bodies like our Lord Jesus.

I'm not sure we are ALL seraphic souls. Faustina said "among His chosen ones, there are some who are especially chosen, and whom He calls to a higher form of holiness, to exceptional union with Him." So, we may indeed be his "chosen ones", although I tend to think this means priests, nuns, and those having given their lives to religious service, but among those, God specifically selects people to be seraphic souls and gives them special graces to carry out that mission. So we aren't all seraphic souls. Having a devotion to the souls in purgatory does not make one a seraphic soul, of itself.

Jesus appeared to me in my home in the Spring of 2010, during a very difficult time, and he called me to ministry, something I had wanted when I was very young, but I did not endure. As I look back on my life, there is no possible way I can deny, there has been an unseen hand steering my ship towards God. Too much to go into any detail. If this is true, Seraphic souls, it would certainly make sense. I've always felt in my heart " set apart" for God. However, I always assumed I must be being prideful . I'm going to have to think on this. I am a new convert to the Catholic Church.I don't know alot yet.

My understanding about the *sign of the cross* gesture is crossing/blessing your whole body - top, bottom & left & right (sign of The Father, Son, & Holy Ghost/Spirit) - therefore it matters NOT if the hand gesture starts with The Holy Spirit, The Son & lastly The Father as they are Equally One. I am open to correction if my understanding is incorrect as I have NOT seen this gesture done bottom to top before.🤔 furthermore, it is a gesture created by the R. Catholic Faith and not Jesus Christ/God.

"Fear and trembling" is not from God, dont forget while He is the Great Judge, He is also a God of mercy. Fear & trembling definitely comes from God. Read the other person's reference to Phillipians & St Paul's admonishment to us all. Also the scripture that says "fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Our Lady of Fatima said in 1917 that only 2 remedies were being given to the world, the daily Rosary and “the sign left by my son” and in the 1930s a 3rd remedy comes along? Did Our Lady appear later and correct the 1917 remedies message? Please someone help me out here i struggle to understand the Divine Mercy devotion
Called to be a seraphic soul or not, I do not know, I know one thing: each of us is called to love Him with all our heart our mind our strength…that’s what we should strive ❤ Have a blessed Divine Mercy Sunday to everyone!
1John 1:7-9 says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from ALL sin. 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness." This is really clear and simple: trusting in Jesus will cleanse us from ALL sin and ALL unrighteousness. No mention of purgatory. Jesus on the cross said, "It is finished." Notice He didn't say, "It is almost or mostly finished."
Fulton Sheen has a great video on angels...your Guardian Angel has more knowledge than man, but less than God...tap into your Guardian Angel...ask for wisdom...ask for guidance...this is the most untapped relationship...your Angel can truly help...how do I know this...because it is true and things I could never see on my own has been revealed to me thru my Angel in Jesus name...
2:50 it IS NORMAL actually it is the BARE-MININUM of what being a Christian is. We only are split because the devil and weak or improperly catechized Christians divided instead of attacked the devil directly. All of us are not seraphic souls, and you do not point at all of us and say in the very beginning that this IS us (about going to Hell or Purgatory) because you simply do not know! You can not definitively state that. You can say you are certain by our times most of us will end up in Hell or Purgatory but you cannot say "this is you". Did GOD reveal this to you directly? We are not cookie cut and the same.
Pray for them. There are many prayers for the Souls in Purgatory and always include a prayer for them prior to the Apostles Creed of the Rosary. I try to do this every day, plus the St Joseph Terror of Demons. Contemplating is another way, offering up your suffering. Once you really think about it there are numerous ways to help these Souls. Ask our Holy Mother to minister to them and ask for their release. Plus everything you hear in this video. God Bless
Traffic is one of the things that I find helps me to pray for the soul in purgatory. When driving to work in the morning or driving home in the evening, traffic is often unpleasant offer this up. Offer your patience when somebody cuts you off. Ask the Lord to bless them offer up your frustration and especially your patience.
The holy souls are very dear to my heart. I prayed the heavenly court prayer for seven years by St. lui de montfort. I love the holy souls ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏I always ask them to pray for my intentions.
I am a cradle catholic, and I practice my Faith. I do admit however that I am afraid of losing my good, God-given health, and of dying too. Let’s face it, life on Earth is all that we know. It is attached to our families, and death means separation from them, at least for some time. Then of course there is the chance of suffering (greatly) in Purgatory, or even of suffering unspeakably and even eternally in hell. So, the thought of becoming ill and dying can mean Heaven, Purgatory, or Hell. Only extremely holy people ascend directly into Heaven, and I do not belong to that category. So, the best that I can expect immediately after death is to suffer in Purgatory for the sins which I have committed. That is not something that seems very enticing. Quite the contrary.
St. Catherine of Genoa (1551): “I believe no happiness can be found worthy to be compared with that of a soul in Purgatory except that of the saints in Paradise: and day by day this happiness grows as God flows into these souls.” In some popular prayers and devotions, and in some spiritual writings, purgatory is described as sort of a temporary hell, and differing from hell only in that those in purgatory know they will eventually go to heaven. However, the Catechism of the Catholic Church rejects that view of purgatory. The Catholic Church does not teach that purgatory is a place or that those in purgatory experience the pain of fire: purgatory is not a “mini-hell,” and is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. CCC1031
I’ll gladly accept purgatory sufferings to cover others iniquities & my own, especially family and friends. As long as I don’t go into the pit ever I will suffer as long as needed to help as many people as I can Blessed be the Holy Trinity and the holy Virgin Mary Amen 🙏🏻
Do not wish for that as God do not want anyone to go to purgatory if possible but immediately back to his buxom . You have to aim high and only sufferings here on earth has value in the salvation of others .
What I've learned in my experience with praying for the Holy souls is that u can't love the holy souls without longing for the conversion of sinners. Both are tied together

I do not know if I an a Seraphic soul, but I do know that the Lord and my guardian angel intervened on a number of occasions to prevent my death. My guardian angel rescued me from a kidnapping, and I landed in the hospital with no explanation the following day as to how I got there. I am completely unworthy of this calling if it is one for me. I do know that my heart and my body is ignited feeling the divinity of the Lord every time I receive holy communion.

St. John of the Cross wrote about the purgatory one goes through before union of the soul with God is realized.
A fragment:
"Sometimes this experience is so vivid that it seems to the soul that it sees hell and perdition open before it. These are the ones who go down into hell alive [Ps. 55:15], since their purgation on earth is similar to what takes place there. For this purgation is what would have to be undergone there. The soul that endures it here on earth either does not enter that place, or is detained there for only a short while. It gains more in one hour here on earth by this purgation than it would in many there."

One of the 14 promises of the Rosary is that Mama Mary will deliver us from Purgatory. That is true i really hope🙏🙏
She may deliver us but how long will that be, I do say the rosary everyday or I just say more the day before I will be very busy. IF YOU WEAR THE SCAPULAR, Mary will deliver u within days. But in purgatory 1 minute seems like a year. I want to be a martyr so I can get to HEAVEN, ASAP.

With the scapular it is called the sabbatine privilege: wear the scapular with devotion, pray the little office of Mary daily, or get permission from the priest to say the rosary daily, or abstain on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (this was for those who could not read the office and were generally illiterate). The privilege is this, the Saturday after you die you will be delivered from purgatory. If you die on Saturday, you are delivered immediately.

(3 Sacraments are to be undergone several times : Confession/Reconciliation, Communion, Anointing of the Sick.)
Baptism, Confirmation, Matrimony, and Holy Orders are only performed once.

We cannot take Communion without a prior Confession. There are rules to making the Confession the right way, otherwise the Confession is invalid or sacrilegious. If we took Communion after a sacrilegious Confession, the Communion would also be sacrilegious.
We would go to hell if we die outside of the state of grace. Catholicism takes years to learn. It's not a quick 'faith vs. works', etc debate.
We have a lower/hotter spot awaiting us in hell for misusing the graces we are offered, as opposed to Protestants.

Being a Catholic in a state of grace who does all of what you mentioned, to the best of my knowledge, does not automatically make me a seraphic soul, just like it was not a call on all of the other grace-filled nuns in St. Faustina's convent. All of the rest of you chiming in might be -- and I hope so -- but I am going to trust God to lead me to whatever degree of glory He prefers. Reading the lives and writing of some great saints, paired with some honest self-reflection in prayer, shows me a much higher set of graces that some have received that I have not. I will do my best in Christ and just trust Him to get me to the place He desires me to be.
My first reaction is one of fear that I might have this frightening responsibility.
Fear is from the evil one. "Be not afraid " as St. John Paul would tell you!

I start RCIA in the fall. I've been surrounded by many things Catholic in the last 22 years but only in the last 3 have I finally been making my way (and out of new age which was for about 3 years and not fully emersed) especially after a major crisis where I discovered that I had thought I had some faith when in fact I had none. It's been quite the journey.
I have been more and more drawn to the Rosary and learning about it. Purgatory though has been very new to me and I have to be careful not to become scrupulous over this. I think this may make me freeze up. I realize that it's a trap to get hung up on it.
I tried the St. Gertrude prayers to release 10000 souls and it felt very strange and I didn't connect. But after seeing this video and seeing your comment, I realize that I can still do something... add 3 St. Gertrude prayers at the end of the rosary. That is something I can happily manage. When that came to my mind, I got some goosebumps and felt a surge of emotion.

Matthew 12:32 ,

Here Jesus speaks of sin against the Holy Spirit. The implication is that some sins can be forgiven in the world to come. We know that in Hell there is no liberation and in Heaven nothing imperfect can enter it as we see in the next part. Sin is not forgiven when a soul reaches its final destination because in heaven there is no need for forgiveness of sin and in hell the choice to go there is already made.
Revelation 21:27 (God tells us that nothing imperfect can enter into heaven)
27but nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who does abominable things or tells lies.” The place that is to be entered (the place to which this passage refers) is heaven (read the text around it for context).
The Bible clearly implies a place for an intermediate state of purification after we die in the many passages which tell that God will reward or punish according to a person’s life.
1 Peter 3:18-19 (Especially note 19)
18 Christ himself died once and for all for sins, the upright for the sake of the guilty, to lead us to God. In the body he was put to death, in the spirit he was raised to life,
19 and, in the spirit, he went to preach to the spirits in prison.
The prison would be purgatory, because there's no point in preaching to people in Hell; because they will never get out.
Ponder the following example. Imagine a Christian man, justified by the Lord, loses his temper and yells at his next door neighbours for letting their dog dig a hole in his yard. We can see that the man treated his neighbours rudely, albeit the neighbour’s behavior was also reprehensible. His actions would be considered a light sin (called venial sins by the Catholic Church). It’s not of the same moral weight as theft or murder, but it’s still a sin.
After shouting at the neighbours, with all the anger and stress in his body the man walks into his house, has a heart attack, and dies having just committed a small sin in the final moments of his life. Remember, this man is Christian and justified by the Lord, yet has committed a sin. Does he go to heaven or does he go to hell? Are all sins created equal? No, all sins are not equal and even justified men of the Lord can make mistakes and sin.
If purgatory didn’t exist, the man would go to hell for his small sin. God’s mercy is so great and our God is a just God that it seems unfathomable that he would condemn a justified man to hell for a small, yet unrepented sin. The man’s soul is dirty. His actions have defiled his soul, but not the point where he has cut himself off from God. Only mortal sins cut off a person from God’s grace. So, the man, having been justified by the Lord, is destined for heaven, yet his soul is defiled by his sin (Matthew 12:36, 15:18). His soul is in need of cleansing because nothing defiled can enter heaven. This is the purpose of purgatory. Out of mercy and love God sends the man through purgatory on his way to heaven so that his soul can be purified to be able to join God in heaven.
Remember, purgatory is not a second chance for conversion; the man is already justified. If there is no place of intermediate state of purification, the man would be damned to hell! Who would be saved? Those who teach against purgatory teach an unreasonable doctrine.
1 Corinthians 3:9-15
9 After all, we do share in God's work; you are God's farm, God's building.
10 By the grace of God which was given to me, I laid the foundations like a trained master-builder, and someone else is building on them. Now each one must be careful how he does the building.
11 For nobody can lay down any other foundation than the one which is there already, namely Jesus Christ.
12 On this foundation, different people may build in gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw
13 but each person's handiwork will be shown for what it is. The Day which dawns in fire will make it clear and the fire itself will test the quality of each person's work.
14 The one whose work stands up to it will be given his wages;
15 the one whose work is burnt down will suffer the loss of it, though he himself will be saved; he will be saved as someone might expect to be saved from a fire.
This passage speaks of the believer being refined by fire. It is a clear indication of a refining place, purgatory.

I❤m so grateful God has chosen each of us for this service so few think to pray for the souls in purgatory and I know its not deliberate that people neglect to pray for family members but it is very sad so many suffer unaided by prayers from loved ones for such a long time. Recently before praying for the Holy Souls, I have been asking the Holy Angels and Saints to pray with me for them, making my prayers much more perfect and of greater value. Thankgoodness for our guardian Angels who can assist us in memories of all we need to do. When realization hits the soul of the mighty task we need to daily take up and do, it is both a burden and a merit. I pray God will increase in me the perserverance and committment necessary to pick up and carry this cross daily. I pray God will increase my zeal fervour and passion to pray so I can be of better use as one of his instruments.❤🙏❤🙏❤

I am trying my best to be obedient...And on a daily basis I pray the rosary in Latin then Lithany of The Blessed V. Mary then Novena to God the Father then Prayers for Souls in Purgatory and Fr. Rookie miracle prayer. In the afternoon at 3.00pm I pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy also dedicated to the Souls In Purgatory. Its been my routine from 3.00am onwards.

Purgatory becoming empty eventually , is inevitable. All their purification is completed according to a finite measure. It's not endless like hell. Also the very last person to be procreated by a man & woman in marriage will occur , because the resurrected saints will have spiritualized bodies like our Lord Jesus.

I'm not sure we are ALL seraphic souls. Faustina said "among His chosen ones, there are some who are especially chosen, and whom He calls to a higher form of holiness, to exceptional union with Him."
So, we may indeed be his "chosen ones", although I tend to think this means priests, nuns, and those having given their lives to religious service, but among those, God specifically selects people to be seraphic souls and gives them special graces to carry out that mission. So we aren't all seraphic souls.
Having a devotion to the souls in purgatory does not make one a seraphic soul, of itself.
I agree with that. Jesus appeared to me in my home in the Spring of 2010, during a very difficult time, and he called me to ministry, something I had wanted when I was very young, but I did not endure. This was my last chance, and in his mercy he showed a series of miracles and also a mystery that helped me make the leap. God bless on this wonderful day of rejoicing and grace!✝️🙏

As I look back on my life, there is no possible way I can deny, there has been an unseen hand steering my ship towards God. Too much to go into any detail. If this is true, Seraphic souls, it would certainly make sense. I've always felt in my heart " set apart" for God. However, I always assumed I must be being prideful . I'm going to have to think on this.

Random question, how come the woman in the video makes the sign of the cross upside down? That really startled me.
My understanding about the *sign of the cross* gesture is crossing/blessing your whole body - top, bottom & left & right (sign of The Father, Son, & Holy Ghost/Spirit) - therefore it matters NOT if the hand gesture starts with The Holy Spirit, The Son & lastly The Father as they are Equally One.
I am open to correction if my understanding is incorrect as I have NOT seen this gesture done bottom to top before.🤔 furthermore, it is a gesture created by the R. Catholic Faith and not Jesus Christ/God.

I hope and pray I can become more united to Jesus through Mary and develop more my intention and desire to comfort the Poor Souls. I surrender myself to Jesus because I know I am not detached enough from the good things of the world yet, in spite of the continuing health and spiritual suffering I undergo. I pray Jesus will not have to send even greater scourges upon me to get my mind, heart and soul to a usable state of humility. God bless you all on your journey and Lord, please have mercy on the Poor Souls in Purgatory, especially my family members and friends and especially the souls who need it most. Alvaro one appreciates your loving and most passionate efforts, but with respect brother, Only God Himself knows about the individuals and the state of their soul, let alone who he chooses. "Fear and trembling" is not from God, dont forget while He is the Great Judge, He is also a God of mercy. Outside of that the content and context is wonderful reminder for plenary indulgences, saving souls from purgatory, and Divine Mercy feast especially. I encourage you to align more with mercy than fear, and thank you for your fervor for Holy Souls , its so necessary and Important! What a beautiful dedication you have to them❤

Fear & trembling definitely comes from God. Read the other person's reference to Phillipians & St Paul's admonishment to us all. Also the scripture that says "fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Our Lady of Fatima said in 1917 that only 2 remedies were being given to the world, the daily Rosary and “the sign left by my son” and in the 1930s a 3rd remedy comes along? Did Our Lady appear later and correct the 1917 remedies message? Please someone help me out here i struggle to understand the Divine Mercy devotion

1John 1:7-9 says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from ALL sin. 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."
This is really clear and simple: trusting in Jesus will cleanse us from ALL sin and ALL unrighteousness. No mention of purgatory. Jesus on the cross said, "It is finished." Notice He didn't say, "It is almost or mostly finished."

2:50 it IS NORMAL actually it is the BARE-MININUM of what being a Christian is. We only are split because the devil and weak or improperly catechized Christians divided instead of attacked the devil directly. All of us are not seraphic souls, and you do not point at all of us and say in the very beginning that this IS us (about going to Hell or Purgatory) because you simply do not know! You can not definitively state that. You can say you are certain by our times most of us will end up in Hell or Purgatory but you cannot say "this is you". Did GOD reveal this to you directly? We are not cookie cut and the same.

so What can I do for the souls in purgatory apart from devoting mass for them?
Pray for them. There are many prayers for the Souls in Purgatory and always include a prayer for them prior to the Apostles Creed of the Rosary. I try to do this every day, plus the St Joseph Terror of Demons.
Contemplating is another way, offering up your suffering. Once you really think about it there are numerous ways to help these Souls.
Ask our Holy Mother to minister to them and ask for their release.

Traffic is one of the things that I find helps me to pray for the soul in purgatory. When driving to work in the morning or driving home in the evening, traffic is often unpleasant offer this up. Offer your patience when somebody cuts you off. Ask the Lord to bless them offer up your frustration and especially your patience.

The holy souls are very dear to my heart. I prayed the heavenly court prayer for seven years by St. lui de montfort. I love the holy souls ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏I always ask them to pray for my intentions.
I am a cradle catholic, and I practice my Faith. I do admit however that I am afraid of losing my good, God-given health, and of dying too. Let’s face it, life on Earth is all that we know. It is attached to our families, and death means separation from them, at least for some time. Then of course there is the chance of suffering (greatly) in Purgatory, or even of suffering unspeakably and even eternally in hell. So, the thought of becoming ill and dying can mean Heaven, Purgatory, or Hell. Only extremely holy people ascend directly into Heaven, and I do not belong to that category. So, the best that I can expect immediately after death is to suffer in Purgatory for the sins which I have committed. That is not something that seems very enticing. Quite the contrary.
St. Catherine of Genoa (1551):
“I believe no happiness can be found worthy to be compared with that of a soul in Purgatory except that of the saints in Paradise: and day by day this happiness grows as God flows into these souls.”
In some popular prayers and devotions, and in some spiritual writings, purgatory is described as sort of a temporary hell, and differing from hell only in that those in purgatory know they will eventually go to heaven. However, the Catechism of the Catholic Church rejects that view of purgatory. The Catholic Church does not teach that purgatory is a place or that those in purgatory experience the pain of fire: purgatory is not a “mini-hell,” and is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. CCC1031

I’ll gladly accept purgatory sufferings to cover others iniquities & my own, especially family and friends. As long as I don’t go into the pit ever I will suffer as long as needed to help as many people as I can

You have to aim high and only sufferings here on earth has value in the salvation of others .
