If you struggle to pray, pick up the Psalms. They are prayer. Read one and meditate on it. That is prayer. Also, Jesus taught His disciples to pray the Our Father, just pray that. God is faithful. He sees your heart. God bless you Julie.

I’m in Day 25 from Purgatorian Manual this little book is a treasure that was put in my path. I found 20$ this weekend In front of my house and gave it as alms to the poor souls behalf. So many graces and good abound. Thank you father may your glory dawn in all our hearts.

I’ve set my cellphone wallpaper to the prayer for poor souls so I can read it as often as I can throughout the day to help the poor souls in purgatory.
You can't help them. Whether they are saved or not does not depend on you but them. If they acccepted Jesus, they are saved if not, they're not. Stop believeing in this false gospel. There is no such thing as purgatory. Bible clearly says that Jesus cleanses us from our sins. All sins.
There is a purgatory. It's in scripture. But Protestants and non-denominational adherents follow so many different beliefs and versions of Christianity and the Bible. They end up interpreting however they want to fit how they want to believe. There are over 20,000 Protestant and non-denominational cults in the US alone. They all teach something different, contradicting one another. Doctrinal chaos! The true, traditional Catholic faith - not the counter church led by Francis of Rome - is the only church that has the true faith. Protestant error and heresies have infected the post Vatican 2 church, and those heresies are destroying what good is left in traditional families and the world.
Purgatory is a condition where the souls of the just who die in God's grace and friendship, experience final purging, purification and cleansing, in order to make them perfect and pure to see God in heaven.
Purgatory is an act of God's mercy, love and justice.
Though not mentioned explicitly in scripture, the teaching is deeply rooted in scripture:
1 Cor 3:15 speaks of this purging fire through which we can be saved.
Heb 12: 22-23 shows that they are souls of the just in Mt Zion that are being made perfect.
Mt 5:48 tells us we must be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect.
Jam 3:2 shows how we fall short in many respects.
Rev 21:27 tells us nothing impure shall enter heaven
Heb 12:14 encourages us to strive for holiness without which we cannot see God
Mt 12:32 indicate that some sins can actually be forgiven in the afterlife.
1 Pet 3:18-20,4:6 tells how Jesus, after his death on the Cross, preached to the souls in prison.
2 Macc 12:41-46 describes how Judas Maccabeus offered prayer and atonement for the dead to free them from sin.
2 Tim 1:16-18 show how Paul prayed for the soul of his dead friend Onesiphorus
There are ample scriptural and historical evidence that prove the existence of purgatory.
Please let's be open to the Holy Spirit to lead us to the fullness of truth that God has revealed in his Word.

We the living are called to pray for the souls in purgatory so as to be saved. Thus we have the pray the Lord Himself taught st phaustina. Your voice so calming, a beautiful way for me to keep listening. I am still afraid of suffering and sacrifice, although when I look at my past, it didn t feel that bad because I had Jesus by my side. Its like parents who have a difficult child, they sacrifice a lot, but because of love, they don t even notice it.

I have very deeply hidden, crushed, dormant, stunted anger over my mom, her broken relationship with God & with me. I need help but i don't have insurance so i had2 quit my counseling cold turkey. I do seek help & will do a "Healing the Whole person" retreat soon but I am living with the effects if my mom living in the sin of ignoring what she did to me and the way our family functions, dysfunctionally, formed around her complete failure of faith. It makes me sick but i have always been "obedient." I cannot speak up despite how God asks me to. I did see the prayer posted for me. I know God helps me everyday. I am just still neutered & impotent, completely frustrated and hurt & facing this situation now at Thanksgiving. I need more help.

You need an Ignatian Retreat! It's absolutely healing
Offer up all your sufferings to GOD. He will make it lighter! Remember, JESUS suffered the worst torture than any human being could possibly go thru.
I have done it so many times in my 69 yrs n everytime, GOD MADE IT BETTER N LIGHTER for me in my difficult times with parents n siblings.
Add adoration to your daily routine and pray for your mom
When having difficulty pray to Our Lord who loves us, "Jesus, please help me. I can't do this on my own. I need your help and grace." He hears our prayers.

It helps to remember where you were when you started finding your way back to Him. The problem with this journey of salvation is that you get caught up in His Love and you want everyone with you at the point you are at... But you forget that you got there with Grace, which they don't have, so of course they think you are crazy! Take yourself mentally back to where they are and relate to them from that perspective... Send a video once in a while but mostly pray for them. Jesus can soften any heart but trust Him to do it, surrender this problem to Him, it's not your words that will sway them... It's Him.

Because the place where I was when Jesus finally reached me, was a very dark and lawless one, this is why my family thinks I am crazy. I went from being a total party girl, looking into and experiencing all kinds of different philosophies and non-western/Eastern religions; to almost instantaneously "on fire" for Christ...wanting to give up Everything to follow him. You are correct, my zealousness scared the heck out of them.
I wasn't really preaching so much as changing everything about my life. My one sister said "you make people feel guilty".
I was surprised. I thought I am nor making Anyone feel guilty! Maybe it's the Holy Spirit showing people what they should and shouldn't be doing; but "it's too much work and too difficult to change habitual behaviors and thoughts" etc..
I know because I used to tell God that too.
I have told them that "these ways and thoughts (Gospel) are not My own, but God's! and, "Hell is a real place, and you can go there, no pun intended"
It's scary. I think I scare them.
But that is it really....I want to scare The Hell out of them, so that we can all be together with the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit in Heaven forever .
Please don't give up ,ask God to give you the graces to persevere in encouraging them,try to be a good example to them,then God will see to that

St. Maximilian said we must aim higher and ask to be the " greatest saint" it's very discouraging at times, but if we offer up our days with little sacrifices may Jesus and His Mother be pleased! Kind of feel like when I learned about indulgences, I wanted to tell the whole world. No one ever told me!!! If we lived an immoral life and we did want ever we wanted then at the end of our life we ask for God's Mercy, then that's presumption. If we strive to life a good life full of charity and love for God and frequent the Sacraments,( especially confession, And Holy Communion) consecration to the Sacred Heart and Our Blessed Mother, plus Holy Mass, the Rosary, & the Scapular. We have all the requirements, for salvation.
@@patthompson8591 we either do our Purgatory on this earth or in Purgatory. God will give us the grace to endure it here. I have a lot of penance to do before I die. If at least that can shorten my Purgatory here God Willing I will do it. Plus Our Lady gives so many promises to us when we pray the Rosary faithfully. God bless you.🙏

all you can do is to change yourself. really. otherwise we are poking our nose in other's business and it's never wanted UNLESS THEY ASK YOU. so we need to always be busy weeding our own garden, so to speak. live by example but always be aware that "pride" is the last to go.........so even those who aspire on the spiritual path need to be watching their own ego...........God's will and NOT my will be done, as it is in Heaven". just weed your own garden and be happy. everyone wakes up sooner or later and God is there for them as soon as they want Him and ask.

Purgatory is the state of those who die in God's friendship, assured of their eternal salvation, but who still have need of purification to enter into the happiness of heaven.
Whether God is there or not is the question of personal belief.

Yes, I agree about Purgatory but God also knows that it was only because He first loved us that we are made capable of loving Him in return. Without Him creating that love inside of us, we would be incapable of truly loving.

Love is in the will, so is trust. We can never love or trust enough. I think we may still be learning all the more in heaven!
So just start loving and trusting and God will expand your capacity. Tell God you love Him and trust Him throughout the day. You may "feel" nothing, but you will be strengthening both virtues. Let's pray for each other for these graces.
Yes, you can relate to Him through His Passion l Jesus understands trauma better than anyone and He gets you. He made you.
Give yourself a chance to Know Him and Trust Him. I used to pray Divine Mercy then throughout the day say ; Jesus, I trust in your Love.x10. Breathe The Power of Love is so much bigger than any affliction. Courage!
I also have CPTSD and God in his mercy and love has graced me with many miracles. Love is not an emotion one feels, it is a committment one makes, some thing I learnt in the past 6 months. I was so greatful when I heard it explained this way. I make a committment every morning to show God I love him by offering him all my prayers works joys and sufferings of this day to his Sacred Heart, through the Sorrowful Immaculate heart of Mary, who makes more pleasing to God my offerings. It is not easy for any of us fallen creatures that we are, to pray, fast, or sacrifice to our most loving God. It all requires committment and effort, this is how we show God we love him. Of course there will be many distractions, and many times we would rather be doing other things. Over time the committment of Love we make to God, will grow within our heart and will become a priority before the daily grind of life. It will increase within us and God will be first where he should have always been. God has shown me so many times that he always does come through for me, what I have learned is that most of the time he leaves things and situations to the very last minute to increase my Faith in his goodness. I can't wait till my human nature is surpassed by graces of the Holy Spirit where I have complete peace and trust in the outcome of what appear to me as difficult situations . I am so grateful the Holy Spirit is always leading me to Holy Truth, and my Guardian Angel is always prompting me with thoughts of what I should do in situations. We must everyday ask for help and guidance, we must not take anything for granted. God says I have many graces to give but no-one asks me for them. Holy Love to All from Australia ❤🙏💕

I have been listening to NDE videos and so many people say they are in Heaven and they are not afraid of dying now. But time in purgatory is not discussed. I wonder how they are getting straight to Heaven when so many holy souls are suffering. I’ve read some of St Faustino’s diary and have a new fear of going to purgatory (an actual place according to the description written in City of God, Mary of Agreda.). 18:38
This comment just hit the nail on the head. Most ndes do not touch on the state of purification however my understanding is that this could be so because they have not yet been judged
Wow, this is exactly what I have been wondering since the film "After Death" has been out. I have been scratching my head on their NDE. I have seen a few videos where people have said there is no judgement. They are shown their life and how sins affected others, but no judgement. It is just love others. I wonder what are these people experiencing. Some even say they are recovering Catholics. Is it a deceiving NDE experience, or are they not being truthful? I have not heard of any messages to repent.

Ooh Our Savour Jesus is so loving, merciful, forgiving, caring . Thank you so much for teaching us these things, we should pray that so many people can listen and learn. For me and my husband we hold on to the blessed virgin mother Mary and she slowly gives us the grace of loving our Lord Jesus more and more.
