Great helmet. The dark visor included in the box is also a big plus as I never ride without. You can get these forcas little as 250 euro's in last years colors and for that price I can't think of a better helmet. It's super quiet on my naked bike and also zero buffeting. A lot quiter then my Arai RX-7 GP . And almost just as comfy but that is very personal and the Arai has been worn in already.
@@chiranjivjena1134 The arai rx7 costs about 3 times as much. So you can't really compare them. But the Scorpion is defenitly a great helmet. And the absolute bonus on that helmet is that you can inflate the cheek pads so that the fitment is really adjustable to the ridingstyle
Hey cody, thanks for the review! I wanted to have your advice regarding a difficult choice : Scorpion Exo R1 Air Carbon or Exo 1400 Air Carbon By the way, I'm riding a BMW F800GS, and my concern is about the noise on the highway mainly. Thanks
@@KingofPumas Thanks for the vid... I disagree with the "necessity" of wearing earplugs; if a bike / and or helmet was designed and set-up properly (especially windshields), this shouldn't be necessary. I've been riding for 45 years, and have more hearing loss from Rock concerts than motorcycling.
How do you compare it to your AGV K1 behind you? Do you see the added value for more than double the price? I just moved to a different country and still need to buy a motorcycle, I have a K1 back home, bought a Exo R1 now but still haven't ridden with it yet
Thinking about ordering one from Europe also have you had any issues with the helmet or the delivery process. All the good designs are in Europe the American designs are horrible
fitted one today in the shop , went home to check internet , ended up here . good review man . did it became loser after wearing it all summer or not at all ?
The visor mechanism feels a bit cheap and the visor seems thin and the visor lock isn't very definite, apart from that it's a nice lid, the venting isn't great, don't see why it hasn't got a brow vent like the Hjc Rpha 11. trying to fit the dark shield isn't easy cause you can't see those 3 little bits that need to be lined up to fit it. nice lid but just feels a bit like it's Chinese built to me.
Thank man was gonna buy it but will probably end up getting a shoei x14 or something. I want helmet to be quiet and seems like this may not be quiet which is same issues I am having on my scorpion exo r420 and AGV . Had a shoei back in the day and that was quietest.

Currently waiting for my carbon one to be delivered from Europe.. Can't wait
How's visibility with the black/smoked visor? Do you use it at night?
Torn between this and a Shoei RF1200. The graphics and AirFit is tempting
think I'd stick with the Shoei
THANK YOU!! Nice review. Definitely helping me decide
Great review mate, I bought one on your recommendation and another's.
I have the Quartararo replica. And it's a excelent helmet.
Hi Marco...how would you compare your helmet with Arai RX7... am a bit confused between the two

Good review man. Thanks for your effort.
Good review, thanks for your input

Don't be shy, where did you order it from?
I noticed you have shelving for your helmets. What is the brand or manufacture? Thanks
Awesome review, am getting one
Great vid . I’m torn between this and Bell Star MIPS DLX Lux Checkers Helmet...😬
Thank you so much 👍
Thanks man

This is quieter than the x14
What website did you use to order this from Europe?
Which helmet would you recommend?
1. Scorpion EXO R1 (carbon)
2. X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra (carbon)?
Thanks!
''Still eхtremely safe''.. .ahaha, fam.. ECE > DOT and Snell combined, do a bit of research. :)
It's rated to the FIM standard, which outclasses all of them in terms of safety
