I had sisterlocks for about 8 years and finally knew it was time for the big chop. My 4C hair is fine with the illusion of looking thick. Although, I have had natural hair for years (before sisterlocks) this journey has been a lot of relearning for me and managing my 4C hair. I made this video for other black women with 4C hair who are asking questions like:
How long does it take 4C hair to grow?
Should I cut off my sisterlocks?

ABOUT US & OUR CHANNEL
We are a expats and a typical black American family living and teaching abroad in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. We were born and raised in California but spent most of our adult life in Atlanta, GA where we met at Spelman and Morehouse College.
About a year ago we left our jobs teaching in the United States for a life abroad in Honduras. Our channel has 2 goals:
1. To show black families and people of color what a life abroad could look like.
