If you ever go to NZ , you will notice that there are always guys wearing shorts in winter( down jacket on top though) , If you go to Fox/Franz Josef Glacier for a tour , you will find the guides are just like the dad most in shorts as well.

Yes! It snowed in my area in 2011 where it covered all the towns (Taranaki) and I was wearing a singlet and shorts and I ran outside into the snow ❄️

Nothing better than a dad who isn’t afraid to look ridiculous. Silly dads are the best! I had one. Out for a walk he’d just suddenly climb a tree to the very top while we screamed as he came crashing down through the branches, land on his feet, grab our hands and start walking again, whistling, like nothing had happened.

Ahahahahaha 😂😂😂 Yes! As a child our family trips to Mt Ruapehu consisted of my Dad being the "Weeeee Dad" and my Uncles were the Too Cold Dads, so my little cousins were out there with my Dad sliding down or rolling down the snow banks screaming "Weeeee!" Best memories ever. Thanks for this true kiwi video.

With four kids my dad was most definitely the DIY dad. Tarpolins and cardboard were our fun in the snow
These girls are so different. One is kind and runs after her dad to help him. The other has an evil laugh and would just casually watch you snowboard off of a cliff
