You are the perfect goofy dad that every little girl needs. And, it's that same spirit of goofiness that will (possibly) cause her a massive amount of embarrassment during her angsty teen years... but don't give in, because after her angst, she's going to look back with the utmost love and appreciation for her wonderful daddy.
This was the first video of yours I was randomly 'shown' on RUclips about a year ago. I think its because I'd been searching for videos re how to cope with losing a dad. I'm so glad I found it. It's made me laugh and cry in equal measure as my dad was so much like you. He was 76 when we lost him but we have photos from the 70s where my sister and i look like your kids, and he's holding us upside down or washing the car or playing dressing up games with us, etc. I watched this one with tears and a smile at the 'emotional lying' and 'big ending' where she rested her head on you. I sat with Dad a lot near the end and we reated our heads on each others' shoulders... as per the circle of life. Thanks for one of the most light-hearted, yet life-affirming channels out there, mate... :)

im turning 24 later this year and my relationship with my dad was like this up until last year, until suddenly we cant be in the same room as each other without my skin crawling. we're both at fault, but i miss him. he's right here and i miss him and he's old and i want to fix this before i cant fix it anymore. thank u for sharing this. ive always been stressed abt running out of time but this has given me newfound courage

In other contemporary dance routine videos, there’s always a commenter talking about the symbolic meaning of the dance. I’m going to attempt with this masterpiece. Here goes:
Abstract: She is Nature. He is Mankind. (As in humans, not the professional wrestler.... maybe.)
Act 1: The dawn of Mankind sings songs of praise to Nature. He upLIFTS her. He wants her to lift him but what she does best is help balance his footing into his next journey. She shows him balance (one leg) and he follows in her wise example.
Interlude: Gratuitous yet tasteful bum shot. There always is.
Act 2: Spring has sprung! Renaissance into the Age of Enlightenment. Mankind leaps into the aeons at a pace faster than Nature can follow. (Emotional jump) She at first tries to move at his speed, and more! (Emotional jump with a spin.) But it is in Balance where they once again find each other (double kick yourself in the butt). But! He wants to keep going faster as generation after generation he shuns balance. He lifts Nature and takes her into treacherous territory (partner spins). Mankind asks Nature to take him into the stratosphere. Nature can not (dizzy Nala)
Act 3: Industrial Revolution. Mankind is tiring himself out. (Emotional rolling with gratuitous yet tasteful bum shot, there always is). Mankind attempts to return to Nature by harnessing her energy (confusing windmill). She laughs at his efforts. It is too late for Mankind. He concedes. He has failed. Nature reassures him that while he has grown weary, she is always there for him (emotional lying).
Finale: Mankind wishes desperately to return to the beauty of Nature (emotional chasing). Alas Mankind has evolved passed the basic need for Nature. Mankind has reached the Moon, the literal heavens, while Nature remains below (random legs). Though Mankind no longer needs Nature to clothe him, feed him or shelter him, he still sings praises for her gifts to all things living. He must now protect her for the future and remind everyone of Nature’s beauty. (Big ending lift and spin) Nature is grateful that Mankind has not forgotten her. (Nala’s head on HowToDad’s shoulder.)

tbh i think the baby has talent for dance. the moves she did are actually some moves that actual contemporary dance choreographies have like the way she lift one leg up, the way she held onto both your legs and leaned forward and also how she lay on your chest!

I do remember years back when I was suffering from severe depression, one night, I knocked at the door of my dad's room. He didn't know what was going on with me since I hadn't revealed anything to anyone. He opened the door and I told him, " Dad, I am not able to sleep ".
