? for zach, 1. Why does Zach focus on teaching draws....Does he teach fades too, is there a reason he favors draw. 2. Who are his past and present and up and coming favorite swings, who influenced his teaching the most.
I watched this video for the first time this morning. In the afternoon, I tried working the right foot movement into my transition, and wow! I couldn't believe how much speed I was getting. Normally, when I speed train, I can get 3 out of 10 swings in the 120s, with the max usually around 124. Today, with this concept, I was in the 120's more like 7 out of 10, with max speed of 127! So cool. Thanks Ernie and Zach!
Thanks for the heads-up on the Clinch glove. I use a similar glove, which is the FootJoy Rain Grip. The material is the same, I think. It absorbs moisture, and the gloves last way longer than leather gloves. I can also run them through a wash/dry every now and then, and they still hold up pretty well. This is the first I've heard of the Clinch glove. I may give it a try. Thanks!
I was working on the same things today at my lesson. Swing thought was getting right knee into left knee pointing towards the target. I also found it a little easier to close the face getting my hands a little higher in the backswing - maybe just a little more time to turn it down.
this was a good one. Just had a lesson myself and i am too much on the outside of my right foot. instead of loading the inside of the foot and then generate power.
I’ve been having the same issue. Swing speed is a couple mph up and I just cannot close the face. Turned into hitting fades which I don’t want. I’ll keep grinding like you!
I use footjoy rain glove, great for hot humid weather. They last forever. I was wondering what Zach thinks about the malaska move and his swing theory in general vs what Zach teaches.
What iron are you using for this? I just got my swing speed stuff and started with some 7-iron swings with the PRGR. I got some readings in the 100mph range but I don’t think I had good contact on any of those and the smash factor was around 1.1; with what felt like good contact I was in the 82-84mph range with smash factor around 1.4 and distance of 165yds. I cannot find any chart which isn’t based upon “driver” speed for club speed, smash factor, et al…. Would be curious of your context since you have Zach interpreting the data. Thanks!
Question for Zach. At 06:54 he speaks about keeping the shoulder back and firing the arms. How do you stay in sync as you do that and at what point does your shoulder then start turning. I feel like I have the same problem whereby my shoulder fires too early and I would like to have more clarity on to fix that
It's in the description! I use a Sony ZV E10, with a wide angle lens, and an iPhone for the second angle. Sometimes I bring in my insta 360 and sometimes a GoPro for different shots
Thanks for sharing, how do you not hit the ground on the downswing? At this point I'm trying to drop the club down during the downswing, now I hit about 5 inched behind the ball and I feel like I am shifting my weight, rotating and not casting.
How far has Zach said your 9 iron should go? It seems to me you should be able to get that out there 150. 136 seems really short. I know everyone is different but have pretty good speed through the ball. Great video as always.
Thanks man!! We didn’t really talk about that. It should be going about 145 at that speed though. Maybe the range balls impacted my carry a bit! I’ll ask Zach!
@@ErndogGolf I was hitting my PW with Awesome Golf and the Garmin R10 to 125 on average, 133 max, so 145 should be reachable with my 9i. I will certainly give it a try. 150, probably not, without speed training. You're doing great on the spin rate and angle of attack. Keep up the great work!
You certainly could! Zach told me in a lesson that if you’re right hand dominant and focus on closing with your right, over time you’ll start to close the face too much and hit hooks. Long term closing with the left hand is the move!
I’m a year and 6 months into this sport and sitting pretty at 2 handicap. It’s been a couple months since I have a full game with someone to add a score but I feel my play is on fire.
Great video! I think my issue with my golf swing right now is all of the moving parts! Focus on one thing and another piece goes wonky. Trying to do more swing work at home, just takeaway and rotation. Hoping this engraving some good feels that will follow me to the course. 🙏🏻🏌🏻♂️
@@ErndogGolf went out early today for 9 holes and had a typical up and down go until I got my first EAGLE ever! A hole that normally gives me fits and I had a good drive followed by holing out with a PW from 127 yd. And of course, playing solo so only Arccos was there to celebrate with me. 🤣🤣

3. Who/what influences his drip.
😂
Awesome questions! Really important for everyone to hear the answers too. Thank you so much for asking!
where are the answers to this? I don't see Zach's responses@@ErndogGolf
Terrific videos. Teaching and information and enthusiasm. Helpful and fun. Well done. A real help, even to us old guys!
I appreciate you brother! Thank you for the kind words and support!

Hell yeah, Ernie! Keen to see how your distances for each club are progressing soon.
Thanks Michael! Yeah, I have to do a distances video soon!

I just love these videos, wish Zach was near me, I’d go in a heartbeat!! Keep it up boys!
Thank you brother!
I took a few lessons with Zach online, and he is great.
Thanks Zach

Wow @erndog golf this is amazing! Got to book with Zach now and bite the drive out there
It was a good one!! I’m still getting used to it, but the speed really feels effortless!

This is a 9 iron! Idea swing speed for a 9 is around 85mph, and for every club it’ll increase by 2mph. So 8i at 87, 7i at 89, etc.
@@ErndogGolf thanks for the quick reply. Very helpful!

Having trouble with my release Whats the proper way to release my arms and hands
The release is huge! Check out week 39 for learning to release the club!
Hi Erin, from the top what do you fire first?
Shift weight to your lead foot, allowing your hands to drop, keep your chest and shoulders back
@@ErndogGolf Thanks , You do such a good job of it! I want to fire my right shoulder and come over the top leading to a shank.😱
