I have gotten back into sewing now that my children are grown up and have recently started to learn about drafting patterns, motivated by a first granddaughter.I love your tutorials for so many reasonsl You have a lovely calm and logical approach with a charming accent that is easy to understand. Thank you so much for giving metric & imperial measurements-(especially METRIC). I love the fact that you don"t play background music... I find the so-called background music irritating and distracting when I am trying to concentrate on learning something new! Many people have hearing diabilities and the music in a tutorial is such a trial!
Grazie per la lezione, la seguo con molto interesse da qualche mese ed ho imparato tantissimo da Lei. Aspetto i suoi nuovi video, un grande saluto da Milano (IT) 😘😘🤗
Thank you so much Diane. Very helpfull like always. Questions: 1- for jeans pattern how to elluminate de second dark in the back pattern? 2- could you please show us how to transform basic pant pattern (wemen an men pattern) to jeans pattern? Ginger jeans? Waist band up or down, slim, bootcut.. Thanks in advance for your lessons and your generoisity😍🤗
Hello Mm FF,Yes I will show how to eliminate de second dart into a yoke line, and I'm now filming the leg transformation, I will talk about both slim, bootcutAbout the waist line I did some video already low waist;ruclips.net/video/uUWZJZ9f1KED/видео.htmliane
Hello, I've been wondering if you are going to make a tutorial about connecting bodice block with skirt block (like in dresses without waistline seams)
Hello Varpu, I did these 2 Elongate: ruclips.net/video/oIPCtWNlDgsE/видео.htmllongate plus : ruclips.net/video/1mHOXYN7rBU/видео.html All in My channel : ruclips.net/user/Montagnes2 Diane
Thank you soooooo muchhhhh!!!! I am sooooo happy!!!! I learn sooo much thanks to you!!! You are soo amazing!!! Please always keep makeing videos!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 1. I want to ask: if i still want to keep the pants little wide... (like the pants pattern with the darts) should i still remove 5 mm from the side seam? Or should i just connect nicely that line to the pants side?
Hello Paints, I remove it to make the skinny, but also because I eliminate the waist dart and that makes the side seam too curve. So, if your sise seam is not too curve, keeping the 5mm at hip level is good. Diane
