I have two sons,25&20 I've tried to explain to them the sounds of older cars and the mechanical aspects of it. I told them unless they experience it they will never understand. This is as close as I can to explaining it to them. Thank you for the video and the sounds.
My grandpa would punch his in the dirt and rocks would fly all over his paint and i’d lose my shit, he would look over at me and smile while saying it was made for this back in the day
I had '67 notchback. Wimbleton white, red interior, 3 speed on the floor. 200 cu. in. straight six. AM radio...and an 8 track, of couse. Was my first car in '72. Man.....I thought I was king of cruise street back then.
American muscle 💯%. My brother had a first gen 1965. Now today I have a 7th Gen DH. Our Dad started this Ford thing way before our time. He owned Model A's and Model T's
I had a 1967 green white top convertible 289 V8 power brakes, power, steering air conditioning. Seeing that car brings back memories when I was 16 years old.
Know how you feel, I've been kicking myself since 78 for selling my 69 428cj 4 speed. Had it painted Candy red Lacquer with pearl silver stripes. My dumb ass sold it and got a 73 El Camino with a 402 big block, fun car but wasn't my Stang
Had a friend that one of those in Petty Blue with the white stripes. Always did like that color. This in my opinion was the prettiest body of the Mustang.
my 67 GT 350 has the same exterior but the interior is custom white. Live in south florida and it turns heads everywhere. Absolutely love it. Its a dream come true everyday and many people love it as much as i do
Love the body style. Great stripe too. Love the tail end and tail lights. Many memories of a friend’s 67 Mustang GT . We cruised to Montana and Idaho in his car. Car camping. Blasting the 8 track all the way. Wolf Man Jack on late night AM radio from many distant points . Our boss had a silver one with the overhead console in it but a C4 auto , 289. Fun car. Great looking everywhere . Subject car sounds like it has headers to me. Needs a new Interstate battery , too .
Switching to a side post Interstate Megatron and thicker gauge battery cables made a big difference on my 69 Cougar. Better charging, stronger starting, much more reliable especially when hot.
That car is awesome! All the parts seem to work as they should. That door lock and door latch was so crisp! Always seems to be worn out on all the other cars I know
Absolutely gorgeous my brother and me drove his 68 fastback 289 from San Diego to Michigan when he got out of navy in 1988 he totaled it out 3 months after he got home him his friend Jim that had serious injury when my friend and me drove up to scene after crash cops had shut down 1of the lanesI seen the car thought they were dead immediately teared up thank God they made unfortunately car didn't

Absolutely Beautiful! I love the old Ford vehicles before 78 or 80. All my big v8 ford's had that drag when you cranked them up. And I Absolutely hated that parking brake at the left knee.
A true jewel! Brings back my adolescent dreams from decades ago. Very nice! As a kid I was able to be around many nice cars from this gen. That's why I have a modern Boss and Z06. These rare jems of yesterday is how I got my passion for muscle cars. Cheers from Canada, thank you for sharing :-)
That's a beautiful car. And that sound makes it even better.
Ditto for sure.
Pure American Muscle 🇺🇲💪🏼
Sounds like a 351C, I only say that because mine sounds almost identical at start up lol

how typical....so many having a meltdown over paint scratches. I know rattlecan paintjobs that sounded same!
Had to have been amazing getting to roll off the lot with one of these brand new. One of the top joys to have ever been experienced in this world.
I remember our neighbors bringing home a brand new, dark blue, ‘65. Frankly, I still love that car…

Beautiful. Time to invest in a new battery.
Not necessarily. Could be that the timing needs to be retarded a bit. 👍🏻

Modern high torque starter is more likely what it needs, especially if it's a higher compression motor.
