    It’s alway hard to tell whether one of these model car restoration videos is real (cut to completely rusted out Bugatti Chiron), but I have always felt an air of authenticity with the work on this channel, and this video definitely shows!

      Good way to tell if it's bullshit is to look at the metal parts that were behind plastic. The inside of the door was pretty pristine. Also, why tf was it covered in cotton? Spider webs don't look like that.

      @@rykergunns7877 I’m not talking about what the car is made of overall. I’m talking about the parts that are plastic. They have “rust” on them. Plastic doesn’t rust.

    Super impressive! I would still be just as impressed if you just striped it down, out of the box, customized it and made it your own! Still a cool process! Wish I had all those tools and learned a few tips from watching these!

      yeah, during watching first time, something seemed to be off. then i have watched paint removing again and there it was........... corrossion removed by paint removal agent + corroded plastic parts, of course. therefore skill is palpable.

    This restoration is amazing! For future videos it would be nice to see the part where you scrape the old paint off and use the sand-blasting machine.

      look up restore DIY on here, same kind of toys but shows entire seps repairs sandblasting etc

      ​@@kalebhenderson8740Come on man, can't you see it's cast aluminum?! Remember, the paint remover doesn't clean the rust, when he cleans the old paint it's clear that it's aluminum, actually duralumin...just look carefully from 2:15...

    Oh my god I love this sooo much. My aunt had a yellow 65 ford mustang. I absolutely love mustangs and i love the color you chose to repaint this mustang. I want this soooo bad now. I also collect mustang die-casts. I am trying to get every year of mustang from 1964 to now

      Simple - get a new model, make it rusty, then play the video backwards so it looks like you're restoring it. That's how 90% of these videos work.

    Finally we have waited! It is a masterpiece. I love old American muscle cars. The restoration is perfect, the color is superb, the interior details are top notch, especially the trick on the instrument panels. Thanks for your work 😍

    Excellent work as always. Thank you again for doing American muscle. Next level on those gauges. Lettering on the tires is very nice. The only thing you missed was the lettering on the bottom fenders. But still excellent work. Next suggestion since I grew up in the 80's would be a Lamborghini Choonatch. Sorry for the spelling. Thanks for the videos...

    Fantastic work. My favorite year Mustang. The only imperfection of note I saw was the rear lower lights are reverse light, so they're white, not red.

    You know what would actually be really neat. If you made a diorama of a run down barn, or junkyard, then did weathering videos on the new car, then had a "barn find", or "junkyard find", introduction before you restore it. Make it a bit of a production.

    Besides cleaning you do anything to the plastic to make it less brittle from age? I know some folks will anneal it through chemical or heating method.
