Cumberland, MD born ! PITTSBURGH raised ! GO STEELERS! I came back to teacher Special Education for 37 years! Lots of history in our town! A young Col. GEORGE WASHINGTON left Ft. Cumberland heading North with British General Edward Braddock. Braddick died from injuries after engaging the French & Indians on the way to Ft. DUQUESNE, later named Ft.Pitt Present day PITTSBURGH! Cumberland was also a large UNION Civil War hospital town! 🤗🥰🤗
