    I THINK he means simple carbs are better for him because he can digest and absorb them in time before his next meal. If he used complex carbs then he might need to wait longer to fully digest before the next meal, and it wouldn't be great if he has many big meals in a day. complex carbs are better for normal people who aren't trying to maximize their daily calories. He just couldn't word it right on camera.

    0:43 Thats not true, white rice not a simple carb, its a complex carb because its mostly made out of starch. Whether something is considered a "simple carb" or a "complex carb" is not based on how quickly it gets digested.

    • @madj0hn
      @madj0hn 6 лет назад +3

      @@Magicman102097 That is not true. The difference between brown rice and white rice is that one has the outer layer removed and the other one doesn't and as a result brown rice has a higher fiber content and more micronutrient than white rice. But both are made mostly out of starch and are therefore a complex carb.

  • @zeekaywalker9232
    @zeekaywalker9232 3 года назад

    Guys what he means by simple carbs is not the set up, but that it's not fancy food to eat but simple carb intake, quick without needing any extras. Simple carb to take in if you need some carbs and calories to go. Same he does explain multiple times and the beans are just the same. Quick and simple to make and quick source of protein without having to add anything. Something every bodybuilder appreciates because it's hard enough already to eat these amounts of food over the day, every day without feeling sick and tired of it. They give you enough calories, while you would had to eat way more often if you cook fancy meals that just look good on the plate (and Instagram) but are low in calories and nutritional value.

The original fish called "The Nile Tilapia" swam in swamps or shallow water and preferred to consume shit to eat. Average them all out by taking a quick glance down the first page to get a sense of what's really what, and you get a pretty accurate read. If you just go with one site that has a "general answer" for everything regardless of brand, you're going to run into problems with your count. Imagine being the dude sitting behind a computer trying to enter data in for every single food that you can find in wal-mart.....you're going to make 1000s of data entry mistakes. Little mistakes to the person pushing buttons, big mistakes for your gains/weight loss over time. At least that's where I send folks to that I teach. 2 filets + a whole can of beans + a whole bag of boil in bag rice. You'd be right if it was one serving of everything.

    117 grams of proteïne in this Meal? I dont believe that..At the most between 50/60 grams i think..
    Maybe I’ve been wrong, there are 26 gr out of 100 gr talapia fish.. so it could be..
    it’s a lot anyway

      It's a great meal, but the calorie count is no doubt off. I'm not hatin, but I started scratching my head as soon as the nutritional content was listed at the end of the video. I wish that's all you had to eat to get 117 g of protein. Sure would make my day a lot easier! Good video either way!
