Here are some duels where I showcase the potential of Elemental Shaman in PvP! The weapon I was using is Hand of the Edward Odd. It has a chance on hit to make my next spell an instant cast.

@@Turtlemilk Different ranks, for example Earth Shock: if he wants to do dmg he uses max rank, if he just want to interrupt he uses rank 1 to save mana

@@Turtlemilk Same reason, if you are 1 hit away from killing your opponent casting a lvl 1 Lightning Shield could win you a duel if you are almost oom

Mate video is nice, but explain why you use flame shock vs warrior, doesn't it give him extra rage? ( i mean on retro-wow as i also play there)

Excellent video! Everything I needed to know, very informative. First time playing Horde and first time playing a Shaman on classic! What an experience, it's like a totally fresh game for me, and I'm LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Throughout my entire wow career I have almost exclusively played a Paladin and melee only. What an interesting class, it really shines in this version. I can see a lot of the mirrors between Paladin spells and Shaman, and it's interesting to see them implemented in such different methods of execution. I always assumed caster classes were nothing but hard casts due to earlier game experiences, and it's really flipping gnarly to be playing all these classes for the first time. What I love about this version is you can spec and play however you want to without having to deep tree and get some diversity of play. Have you tired out something along the lines of 22/11/18 with 2h and 1h/shield? Goofy stuff like that as a Paladin was such a blast. Especially taking multiple rogues.
What casters are any of your favorites from this version?

Thanks! Ele shaman is amazing, it doesn't need tidal at all. With gear, it can beat just about every spec.

What you need the guide for? He pretty much already explain evreything during time he is playing
@@rizitrix5612 trinkets, gear, how to face different situations and all that. For example he got stunned in the first duel and got away fairly quick and idk if that was a piece of gear, a trinket or w/e

Nice gameplay and commentary. Love Elemental shamans, just wish they were as good in pve as they are in pvp. Also props on recognizing Epaulets of Ten Storms as the best looking armor in game.
I assume your 30 0 21 spec right? I am planning to play a shaman on classic launch for the first few months I will go resto and raid grind, but once phase 2 arrives i will be looking at eleresto so I was just wondering what you spec is. It looks very effective tho hand of edward the odd is a pretty rare drop to grind for.

Tauron, orc or troll for ele pvp ?? Also Edward the Odd, is it like must have item for ele shamans for pvp. Like I should buy it no matter what, or is it just so so I can find something that more or less just as good from dungeons / raids ?
Hey man. You mind answer a question about your gear choice? It looks like you're getting the 3/6 Warlords setbonus with head,legs and boots - but as you're using Earthfury gloves you don't get the 5/8 setbonus from T2. Is this intentional? Thanks :)

It would be the exact same as what it is now, except for shaman being higher on the list. Mage>Rogue>SP>Shaman>Hunter>Warrior etc

Alkhan Yo that’s all opinion. If you leveled as enhance go as enhance if you leveled as elemental go as elemental. If you leveled as resto go as resto. That’s my opinion.
@@drewjantz9852 That's not quite what I mean. I remember leveling my hunter in classic (some point before Naxx was released) and encountering level 59 players in battlegrounds that had the blue quality pvp set and rank 11 mounts. Since Blizz is re-releasing Classic I would like to do the same and farm the ranks at 59 instead of 60 and I am wondering which class would be the best at farming honor via kills and bg objectives. Probably hunter for straight kills or druid for objectives such as flag caps but idk.

Retro wow, you start with dungeon set. All raids are 5 man . You can buy armor with money or quests give you thousands of gold to buy amor

No private server is 100% accurate. Just play with what you got.

i mean if your counting the people that will quit pre 60 but im sure plenty of shamans will get the chance
@@Botlivesmatter00 honestly it looks a lot funner with that weapon he had giving instant casts which I don't know how hard that is to get. Im betting most shamans wont be running around with that thing until classic is old and dead. Private servers are free while classic is 15 dollars a month. Unsure how long classic will stay popular after the roll through happens and people do all the stuffs
Can you purge soul link of the warlock pet? Or would he just really it?
The purge is more expensive to recast then the soul link. Shaman would go oom spamming purge

On almost every private server, you are unable to purge SL. I hope it works on retail Classic

@@ExecutusGaming I beg to differ. I know it's late but rogues just get shit on by about everyone it seems. I'd put them down at the bottom tier of pvp.

Not bad, but not good enough for raids. Mana will always be an issue.
Executus Gaming hey executus you have some awesome videos. I was wondering about your opinion on something. I’m stuck between which class to start in vanilla when it comes out. Priest or shammy. As a now casual player which one do you think is less gear dependent (I’ll be shooting for pvp blues t2? and exalted bg epics) is ele viable with that gear or not nearly as much as shadow etc. thanks again for the great videos

Out of the two specs (ele/enh) which one do you prefer for PvP/pve and why?
Ele is massively better than enhance for pvp and neither are optimal for PVE
@@dougtaylor26 could you explain why this is? I'm going to play shaman for classic, but I want some positives and negatives to compare the two specs
@@dylonm9701Enhance has no way to gap close and just overall isn't threatening enough. Ele has great on-demand burst, a higher mana pool from gear itemized for int and you can off heal really well. Also, in competitive group PVP the primary class for securing kills against enemy healers is Warlock... but the horde also has ele shaman, and their burst HAS to be respected because people can just get deleted.
Can't even compare those 2. Elemental is superior in every aspect of the game by a long shot. Everyone is brainwashed by some edited video of an enhance shaman with a hand of rag owning people but he left out all the footage of him getting stomped on when he wouldn't get a lucky double windfury proc back to back with crits. Enhance was fun but pure trash in pvp and pve and duels and everything compared to elemental.
