Hever Castle & Gardens, Kent UK - walking the Italian Gardens

Famous as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and latterly the hugely wealthy Astor family, Hever Castle is a handsome house surrounded by a moat and a vast Italianate garden, lake and pavilion which is world-renowned for it's beauty and interest.
This is just an hour from London in the county of Kent close to the town of Edenbridge and also the historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
We visited on a perfect late-summer 's day on the way to stay with friends on the Kent coast and we're thrilled that the film shows Hever at it's most beautiful.
The house is an interesting mix of the imposing, dark Tudor style and the early 20th century golden-lit luxury of The Astor Wing. It's history is fascinating (the stats for manpower used for the gardens alone are staggering!).
