You can get them all year long these days but I do remember getting them around Christmas too. Loved it and they also have a raspberry version that's just as amazing! And remember a friend struggling with theirs and they thought I was stupid when I told them you gotta wack it down hard against a hard surface haha. Finally I just had to take it from them and do it! 😆
Yup, I put one in each of my kid’s stockings each Christmas along with a real orange as well because that is traditional here in Massachusetts. I already bought them and they are hidden away til Christmas eve
My son moved to England and sent us a box of snacks. No country has as much sugars & salt & additives in their food as the USA, so most of the English stuff tasted bland and a bit “healthy.” But the chocolate was FANTASTIC! Their chocolate is much better than ours! (Also, I wish our foods didn’t have as much sugar & salt & additives - even though they surely are tasty!)
English chocolates are divine ! My late husband's bosses wife was English and she brought me a box of chocolates back from a trip home - best chocolates I ever ate ! I've heard it's because their candy makers use cream, and the ones here use milk.
Because in Europe, to be classified as a chocolate product, it has to be at least 20% cocoa, whereas in the US it's only 10%, the difference tends to be made up with fillers and additives. There aren't a lot of things Europe is better than the US at, but making chocolate and starting wars sure are 2 of them!
The sitcom he speaks of is called "Are you being served?" and not only is it England's best sitcom but one of the best satirical class observations ever made.
Walker's is owned by Frito-Lay so that explains the logo! Also, I think a lot of British cookies/biscuits are better when dipped in tea or coffee or milk and that's possibly why they are otherwise a bit dry. 😉

You should send southern states specific snacks from local shops that you really like. A lot of major brands are sold overseas so something they can’t get because it is regional to the US.
I’m a Tennessean and learned about Monster Munch from Steve-O on First We Feast. I ordered a bag off Amazon, and I LOVE THEM!!! It tastes like Funyun and Salt and Vinegar blended into a chip.

A slight bit of background, at 12.40 that is Tower Bridge. The original London Bridge from the song was a mediaeval bridge with structures atop which were crumbling, it was replaced by a Victorian Bridge (well technically Georgian, Victoria did not take the throne for 6 more years) which was purchased by an American and moved block by block and after modifications, the facade reassembled upon a concrete frame in Arizona. The current “London Bridge” is a 1970s concrete arch bridge which can support modern traffic which the 1830s bridge could not. The opulent Tower Bridge remains, the main difference being it is now hydraulically opened instead of steam powered.
I’m with you on the Terry’s Chocolate Orange 🍊! They show up in NC around Christmas, the full size ones and you have to smack the end of the orange to break the wedges apart. It is Heaven & they are only around for a few weeks a year.

walkers was a british company for years then frito lay bought the company from us in 1979 i belive because it was so popular in the uk already they kept the name walkers in the uk because was already well established, same company just the name got changed for the rest of the world as before they were bought out they were only sold in the uk. The biggest crisps/ chip factory in the world is in england and they produce over 11 million bags a day the factory is in leicster its crazy
We have a British food section in the Publix here and I'm always after the "Digestives" or digestive biscuits, those are what my online gaming buddies in the UK are always munching on after dinner.. I think that might be the sole purpose of cookies over there so that's why they're fiber rich. They also have better regulations on what crap can be added to food as far as bad chemicals and preservatives.
They're called "Digestives" because when they were introduced, it was thought the simple ingredients would prevent farting. Could be worse. Graham crackers were invented in the hopes that they'd stop teenage boys . . . getting urges.
As usual an entertaining segment. You said once they figure out peanut butter and chocolate are a perfect paring, send him some Reese cups or Little Debbie Nutty Buddy bars.
The reactions are very funny - I'm not sure why pickled onions are a candy. I thought we pickled some weird things. Also - the TV show mentioned should be Are You Being Served - and is a great one to watch
Just saw this for the first time. The show you saw was called "Are You Being Served?". Great show. In Jamaica, in the 80's we had the BBC in the evening. We loved shows like that!
Here are a handful of American snacks I don't think you can regularly obtain in the uk: butterfinger, peanut butter m&ms, oatmeal pies, chex mix or muddy buddies, fritos corn chips and bean dip or queso, BBQ flavored chips, and a real shocker - candy canes (or any minty treats for that matter)
Yes this is a good starter list! I'd nominate nutty buddies or oatmeal creme pies from the little Debbie line as being both not in UK but also probably palatable. I do miss butterfinger, but they often don't ship well and we all know stale butterfinger is 😬 I'm not sure if there's really a chip/crisp flavor/flavour from the US that doesn't have an analogue in the UK 🤔 (obv a lot aren't exactly the same) but corn chips are really underrepresented. They have bad Doritos here, but nothing like Fritos. A bag of *crunchy* regular Cheetos is like unobtainium tho, send some of those!
They do have XXX mints in a roll. We love the extra strong mints from Trebors too. They are hard to find in the states. I usually order them from Amazon.
Jaffa cakes are great and you can get them lots of places in the US, including Amazon, they are also a snack that grows on you as you continue to eat them.
River Street Pralines from Savannah GA to go with the New Orleans beignets!! Mmmmm ooh and some southern fudge too like you get at festivals or at Rock City, TN
As an Alabamian that lives in the UK, the Monster Munch reaction is the correct one. Also send Wayne some Cheetos, they don't have them very commonly here and it makes me want to cry (also send me some, Jalapeno please).

My husband had to go to London for work one time and he brought me back some British snacks. He brought me the roast beef Monster Munch, it was so good!
Tunnock's are fantastic! They do come in a dark chocolate flavor. Jaffa cakes are good. You can find similar ones via Canada/or Turkey(iirc). I've found those in cherry, raspberry & orange.(& perhaps strawberry)
Usually you can get the Terry's oranges around Christmas. The whole orange version is my brother's favorite. You can smack the chocolate orange on the counter and it breaks into orange slices.
As a southerner living abroad, I’d recommend Utz’s Crab Chips, a Goo goo cluster and definitely some Little Debbies. I suppose it depends on if you’re going for taste or weirdness :). Reese’s, Poptarts and Oreos are all available here (though they can be quite expensive.)
Ziggy Stardust is definitely the best Bowie. I lived in London for a couple of years in the mid-80s, & had my grandmother send me some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups & Mtn Dew for Christmas one year. Both were universally reviled by every Brit I shared them with. Too salty, too sweet, respectively. I also developed a keen taste for pickled onions while I was there, but I still wouldn't eat a pickled onion-flavored puff! Next time you're trying to think of a well-known British animal, might I suggest the English Sparrow, a delightfully invasive species you can find in all 48 of the contiguous United States. They're the noisy little brown birds you see everywhere. That's an adorable baby you got yourself there! ✌🏼
Our ingredients lists are considerably smaller than yours because they tend do have a lot less crap than American stuff. Like some of the American food that I have tried, when I read the ingredients it looks like I’m reading the periodic table. 😅
No, we have to list all ingredients, but European laws on additives are far more strict than the USA. A lot of additives in American foods are banned in Europe.

Bucee’s beaver nuggets, Christmas Cakes (we all know why), random gas station beef jerky, Zapp’s voodoo potato “crisps”
Lays pork rinds, Double-decker Vanilla Moon Pies, Jalapeño Cheetos, Peanut-butter pretzel bites, Snack Factory Dark chocolate pretzel crisps
Stuckey's pecan roll
I absolutely love Terry's chocolate oranges and Jaffa cakes....I guess I just love chocolate and orange lol
Adorable babies will always win us over 😩❤️
The TV show was "Are You Being Served", funny as all get out. (Alice is positively adorable).
I learned about it from Karl from “An idiot abroad”…it was the only food he insisted on taking to every country they went to. 🤣
You pegged it! You have to want the vinegar edge, not settle because it’s there.
Are you being served? That was such a good show!!!! Memory unlocked! Hey from Nashville! ❤️
Would love to watch matt try some Japanese snack foods
Oh, Alice is TOO CUTE!!!!! What a little angel!!!!
I hope there is someone in your life that makes you laugh as much as you make me laugh, Matt!
I would send my Brit friend some Slim Jims and maybe a pack of goldfish crackers? Merry Christmas!!!!!
Seventeen whole minute's with my favorite comedian Matt! My day just got way better.💯💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!
I'm a big Bowie fan so I was pleased to see him being used as a rating system 😆
Are You Being Served?
Classic! I loved that show!
I’m with you on the Terry’s Chocolate Orange 🍊! They show up in NC around Christmas, the full size ones and you have to smack the end of the orange to break the wedges apart. It is Heaven & they are only around for a few weeks a year.
as an american southerner who happens to love the pickled onion monster munch from the uk,....ouch,matt. ouch. 😔😭 And this very quickly escalated from a friendly little international exchange of snacks to a "let's trash talk all of great britain" free-for-all 🙃
Yeah, not a fan of that bit.
"let's trash talk all of great britain" free-for-all
Lol. Nah, we're good mate. We do the same to the US. It's just banter.
Thank you for having a sense of humor! I always maintain the same attitude when the jokes start flying from the UK re: the USA. It's just family making fun of each other. 😃 @4svennie
I'm surprised he didn't send you a Cadbury Flake. I agree with you on the chocolate orange. I get whole one that is the size of a real orange each Christmas in my stocking. You slam it into the table, and all the slices fall out. Yummy and fun!
Oh a Bounty bar is the best, beats Mounds or Almond Joy by a mile
Cadbury Crunchie bar is amazing...
I second the Crunchie bar! That and Dairy Milk is what I horde or request when friends travel to or from the UK.
I lived in the UK for a couple of years as a kid and I LOVED Cadbury Flake bars! Melt in your mouth deliciousness.
walkers was a british company for years then frito lay bought the company from us in 1979 i belive because it was so popular in the uk already they kept the name walkers in the uk because was already well established, same company just the name got changed for the rest of the world as before they were bought out they were only sold in the uk. The biggest crisps/ chip factory in the world is in england and they produce over 11 million bags a day the factory is in leicster its crazy
I remember Terry's chocolate oranges being a big thing in the states when I was a kid!
Alice is absolutely adorable .
Don't forget to send RC cola with the moon pies! Also a bag of pork rinds!
The UK has pork rinds, but we call them pork scratchings. They're popular as a pub/bar snack
Send over a couple of those giant Tabasco flavored Slim Jims and some fudge covered Oreos.
That reaction to Jaffa Cakes was perfect 😂 “woah. Very orangey and spongy and I don’t really taste a whole lot of chocolate” haha. You are correct.
Hey Matt.. fun fact, the London bridge is actually now in Arizona. What you showed was actually Tower Bridge.
Too funny, Matt! Send ‘em some beaver nuggets, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Big League Chew, beef jerkey, sriracha peas, and pop rocks
As usual an entertaining segment. You said once they figure out peanut butter and chocolate are a perfect paring, send him some Reese cups or Little Debbie Nutty Buddy bars.
Reese's cups are around in the UK
"Are You Being Served" that show was fantastic!
Dude, you make me laugh so damn hard. I have to pause your videos you make my eyes hurt and you make me cry. You make me laugh so hard thank you.❤
Alice is adorable! Kroger carries the whole Terry orange, milk, dark chocolate and even one with toffee bits.
In America um Roll Tide... Time to go get that last sleeve of Thin Mints out of the freezer!
Loved this one! The show about the department store was “Are You Being Served”.
I wondered what you’d do considering the Army-Navy “game” on Saturday. This was hilarious.
He should do a Mexican snacks review next! 💚🤍❤️🇲🇽
Send him a package of various snack items and I bet he will
Mexico got it goin on with snacks
Can I get an amen??
@@efraim3364 Can I get an amen?
@@Whatthechuckttv How we (I) will do that?
Here are a handful of American snacks I don't think you can regularly obtain in the uk: butterfinger, peanut butter m&ms, oatmeal pies, chex mix or muddy buddies, fritos corn chips and bean dip or queso, BBQ flavored chips, and a real shocker - candy canes (or any minty treats for that matter)
Yes this is a good starter list! I'd nominate nutty buddies or oatmeal creme pies from the little Debbie line as being both not in UK but also probably palatable.
I do miss butterfinger, but they often don't ship well and we all know stale butterfinger is 😬
I'm not sure if there's really a chip/crisp flavor/flavour from the US that doesn't have an analogue in the UK 🤔 (obv a lot aren't exactly the same) but corn chips are really underrepresented.
@@bieuxyongson I've found most UK mint stuff is spearmint, which is a totally different flavor from the US which is usually peppermint.
@@katyweaver7689 Oh I gotcha! Yeah, we love the spearmint. I always forget the difference. 🤔🥰
Yep! I just had to send a care package to my brother in Australia with Oatmeal Cream pies and Cosmic Brownies 😂
Jaffa cakes are great and you can get them lots of places in the US, including Amazon, they are also a snack that grows on you as you continue to eat them.
How could you not like Hobnobs! I lived in Eastern Europe for many years and loved Hobnobs
Moon pies, bengiets from New Orleans, some Dreamland BBQ, pecan pie, and little debbie christmas tree cakes
River Street Pralines from Savannah GA to go with the New Orleans beignets!! Mmmmm ooh and some southern fudge too like you get at festivals or at Rock City, TN
I miss Little Debbie Spice Cakes. Haven't seen any since the 1990s.
As an Alabamian that lives in the UK, the Monster Munch reaction is the correct one. Also send Wayne some Cheetos, they don't have them very commonly here and it makes me want to cry (also send me some, Jalapeno please).
Monster Munch are nice but the pickled onion ones can be slightly over powering.
Flamin Hot and Roast Beef are the far better flavours.
@@AshleyClarkey
Get out.
@@jamestabbron8124 Never, I will die on the hill that flamin hot are the superior monster munch.
The same way Spicy Tomato are the best of the Wheat Crunchies.
@@AshleyClarkey I just tried all of the flavors for the first time this week and they all made me gag
If you like Crunchy Cheetos, you can substitute with NikNaks. If you prefer Cheetos Puffs, get Wotsits.
Love you rating foods. Even more fun when it's "foreign" foods. Great Job
How about Buckee’s Beaver Nuggets, a Snickers Almond bar, Lance cream cheese and chives crackers, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and Dott’s original pretzels? That should be a pretty good cross section of American favorites.
peanut butter cups are yummy but can only eat one.
Yes to the beaver nuggets and it needs to be the Captain"s Wafers (with or without cream cheese and chives).
As an American from the south I can tell you I’ve only heard of two of those things and I’m 32
@@brandonweeks "the south" is a big place. I don't know Dott's original pretzels, but I know the rest. I knew the ones that I know when I was just a little girl, so obviously, you've just not been out much.
@@brandonweeks Well, okay, not the almond bar because that's fairly new.
“Are You Being Served?” Such a good show
Also, Rudyard Kipling is probably the name you are thinking of. He wrote the Jungle Book. XD
Or on Disney the show Jessie the little Indian boy named Ravi has a giant pet lizard named Mrs. Kipling for same reason... Rudyard I presume and Matt has kids so probably has seen that show it runs all the time still
the original full size terry's chocolate orange is great, i didn't realize they were british, i'm american and lots of stores have these especially around christmas!
awesome! please do more of these snacks from other places please and thank you!
My husband had to go to London for work one time and he brought me back some British snacks. He brought me the roast beef Monster Munch, it was so good!
As a Brit who moved to America, I crave pickled onion monster munch. One of my all time top snacks.
Bless your heart, DadMan Does
@@debrarevay7493 thanks
@@DadManDoes I hate to tell you, mate, but I must: "Bless you heart" isn't good. It's Southern for "Gawd, ain't you stupid?"
@@Beedo_Sookcool yup. I know.
Ngl pickles and onions are both pretty good, that monster munch sounds like a savory kind of treat
Dude, can we talk about the awesome collection of arcade games you got behind you!?
NBA JAM: "He's on fire!!!"
Dude's got some classics
"Are You Being Served" is the British comedy based in a department store. Watched so much of that show when I was younger
British snacks are basically off-brand southern snacks 😂
Well the Brits aren't really known for originality lmfao.
Our ingredients lists are considerably smaller than yours because they tend do have a lot less crap than American stuff.
Like some of the American food that I have tried, when I read the ingredients it looks like I’m reading the periodic table. 😅
Lol yes, because the UK is known for its exceptional diet and fantastic dental hygiene
@Reece Freeman at least the periodic table is more enjoyable; try more like reading "War and Peace"!
@@ViktoriousDead the shade! 😂😂
More like the uk still has most of the same things us food products have, they just don’t have to label it like the US does
No, we have to list all ingredients, but European laws on additives are far more strict than the USA. A lot of additives in American foods are banned in Europe.
FIRST victim of the off-season.
Man I just found this channel and boy is it funny! Keep it up Matt I’m laughing my ass off up in NY!
