I was a Walmart bakery manager. Yes, the donuts are all frozen and all we do in bake them in the oven on racks that’s why the “grill” marks. We were a small Walmart so we glazed by hand instead of the glazing machine. Also, there is a button that we push so when we bake bread the smell goes through the air vents so everyone smells the bread. Pushes sales up.
There is a movie theater near me that pipes the aroma of the cooking popcorn right over the line for the ticket booth. Everyone in line smells fresh popcorn while they wait for tickets.
I worked at a grocery store and this is also what we did to our donuts. Though, those marks were somehow already there on ours when they came out of the freezer, before baking them.
I was active duty military in Washington DC on 9/11. A couple days into everything locked down I got permission to take another troop to Krispy Kreme and buy like 12 dozen donuts. We got there, and they were so happy to see some military people they took our order, and we paid for the 12 dozen, then they kept bringing us fresh ones to eat while we waited... i think I had a dozen while standing there. They then filled our car with boxes of donuts like 25+ dozen. We got back to base and just drove around handing out boxes. We were allowed to go down a few more times before the base was opened back up . Needless to say, you can have too many Krispy Kreme. It was years before i could even smell one. Great company and great glazed donut!.
That just made my day. People always say “thank you for your service”, but it’s nice to see people being thankful in real time for you being brave enough to stand in front of us on our own soil. Hopefully that is the last time.

When my little sister was pregnant me and my brother in law had to drive to another state to get her Krispy Kreme from "the good one that makes them right". Good times.
Dunkin' also freezes their doughnuts. They're delivered, daily, to most locations. They don't have Fred getting up and making the doughnuts for them at 4am anymore.

Sorry, but I’m a Texan and Shipley’s makes great kolaches, but you can’t beat a Kristy Kreme hot off the belt. Daylight Donuts is the Waffle House of donuts.
@@eggiesammich That's also where I learned all about it! I loved going to my grandma's because she had a rack of old Reader's Digest issues by the toilet so I had better reading material than the tampon box.
When we were tailgating at a UTC game, a friend of ours cut a Krispy Kreme in half like a bagel. He then proceeded to place them face down on a grill and filled the holes with shredded cheddar. He then topped them with bacon. He then made a sandwich out this. Is this man a genius...yes he is. It was mind meltingly good.
It’s so weird that your Shipley’s is so dense because where I live, they are light and pillowy softly. Just so lovely and melt in your mouth goodness. I love Shipley’s so so much.
My Mom would put a glazed donut in a hot frying pan and make the glaze crispy then put a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and that’s a little piece of heaven.
Took my father-in-law after he was years deep into dementia and he wondered were he was until he tasted the Original Glazed Krispy Kreme. A huge smile came over his face. He didn’t remember the name but he said, ‘ I remember these. I used to like these!’. Warmed my heart. He had taken at least 9 of his grandchildren regularly to Krispy Kreme throughout the years.
As a Canadian, I just had to watch because I saw Timmies in the tumbnail.....I'm pretty satisfied with the result, and now I want to try a fresh Krispy Kreme donut the next time I'm down in the USA.
You will not ever want another kind of doughnut after a Krispy Kreme, especially if you have them in the coffee shop. Now. If only we had a good place for poutine 😂
In New England, knowning someone's Dunkin' order is a sign of love. There are also "good Dunkin's" and "bad Dunkin's" and you will drive much farther to get to the good one.
We have an annual event in Raleigh where you run a mile, eat a dozen Krispie Kremes and run the mile back. Needless to say, not everyone finishes the race.
Matt, the Boston creme donut, and the fruit kolaches from Shipley's donuts is heaven. If y'all wanna do another donut episode, I would suggest the Boston creme as the flavor
My wife didn't get the deal with the Krispy Kreme Hot sign. She couldn't understand why having them hot and fresh could make that much difference. That was because up until that point she had never experienced a hot/fresh Krispy Kreme. She gets it now.

My cousin's husband was an equipment repairman for Winchell's donuts. He got all kinds of free donuts. Literally had bread bags full of mixed donuts in their freezer. We were kids & I remember a sleepover that in the morning my cousin asked if we wanted donuts. My brother & I were stoked. Her kids groaned not again & begged for bacon & eggs😂😂😂
The Dough Nuts we know of actually dates back to around the 17th century. I believe it was the Dutch. They was call "Dough Nuts" because they was a fried piece of dough roughly around the size of a walnut and was covered in sugar. So our modern donuts aren't even anywhere near what the original donut was. Donut holes is the closest thing to an original dough nuts we have. Another little fun fact is that the Colonial day Dough Nuts can date even further back to Ancient Rome. Intresting how our modern day donuts and French toast can be dated all the way back to Ancient Rome.
As a teacher, we get SO MANY of those Christmas boxes from Dunkin from well-intentioned parents. The heart is there, but there are SO MANY better donut places in our area that they could have gone to.
As someone from Massachusetts, the birthplace of Dunkies, I totally agree with you. They used to be baked in the store and now they're shipped in, so they are never as fresh, plus they're a lot smaller than they used to be. A warm Krispy Kreme donut I have had only once, and it was the food of the gods!
DD can't win at glazed, yeasted donuts. They started with cake donuts, which the kids don't want, and can't compete with KK. Now if you want a blueberry cake donut, that's something else.
I went to Boston for the first time last year. First thing that stood out to me was how damned many Dunkin Donuts there were. You can't go 100 feet without seeing one. And I hate Dunkin Donuts
Shipley's is infinitely better when you get them warm and they melt in your mouth. I understand you weren't able to get them all fresh and are having them the next day. But I believe that would have been a game changer for this ranking. Your humor is great, always fun to laugh so hard at your videos! Thank you!
I know this was on donuts, but you mentioned Kolaches. What you had at Shipley's is a Klobasnek or Pig-N-Blanket. Kolaches are sweet, and do not have meat. Unfortunately, most people can't say Klobasnek so they just go with the better Czech pastry Kolache. Shipleys the Kolache Factory, and yes even Buc-ees are using the incorrect Czech word. Think if we called enchiladas, tacos just because it was easier to say. #TexCzech
I’d like to see Matt do these blind. Not blindfolded. Just not know the names until after they’ve been ranked. Cuz even the name can effect your judgement
As a Minnesotan, we don't have many donut chains here ... Dunkin was here, closed (and are making a comeback). Krispy Kreme came in hot, quickly left. Tim Hortons gave it a go... and then left. We have independent bakeries, mainly, but they're not as visible as chains that have big signs, so you don't think of donuts as often... When i moved to Boston, i saw Dunkin on every corner and got so excited! People here eat donuts! I ate a lot of donuts before i realized no one ate the donuts... They just got the coffee. Oh. Dammit! I only get donuts now maybe 4 times a year... but they're good when i do!
In Houston, we saw the same thing Krispy Kreme came and went pretty quickly. Shipley's specialty is cake donuts as he noted how overly moist their donuts are, that's where they shine with maple icing of course. Otherwise, those small mom and pop donut places are best when it comes to non-cake donuts - like a place called 'Sweet Shop' in Greenfield, IN.
When I returned from Vietnam, Republic of, in 1970 my little brother took me to Krispy Kreme for donuts and coffee. I hadn’t eaten a donut in years and the Krispy Kreme store was new to Reynoldsburg. I ate four (4) dozen all by myself and growled at him as he hovered over one of mine. A truly heavenly experience that has remained vivid in my memory after all these years. Thank you Steven.
Krispy Kreme is like inhaling a cloud. While visiting family in NC last Christmas, I had a few things on a check list, grabbing a fresh dozen of KK donuts was on the list. I shared 5 and ate 7 without an ounce of guilt. 😛
When the children of Israel were wandering in the desert for forty years, and angels would bring mana down from heaven for them, that was actually hot off the line Krispy Kremes. It's literally the best thing on earth.
If you ever see a Kryspy Kreme with the HOT NOW light on. Stop and get one. You think a regular KK is good? A Hot Now is over the top. It melts in your mouthing cottage candy.
The "pig in a blanket" you had was a Klobásník, which is a savory form of a Czech Kolach(e), which is a yeasty pastry dough with a fruit jam (and sometimes cream cheese) baked into an indentation in the middle. The both use the same dough, which is likely why they all came to be called "Kolaches" in the small czech communities in central Texas.
When I worked in Alabama, we had donuts in the break room. When I worked in DC, we had bagels. But in Dallas we had kolaches. There is a kolache bakery in every low rent strip mall in DFW.
Let's go....Klobasnik was the term used in Czech Texas... then when plain donut shops started getting them they just lumped them all together as kolaches... more places in Texas are starting to use Klobasnik and Klobasniky
I must limit my intake of Matt Mitchell’s videos, laughing is great medicine, until I pull something in my core, then I realize laughing is not superior to actual medicine
I'm a Duck Donuts lover! If you're ever in Outer Banks, NC, do not leave without trying them! Best donuts I've ever had! They are all made fresh to order and you actually watch them make the donuts. They also have tons of options of flavors, icing, and toppings. My favorite is maple icing with bacon.
@trumpetmom8924 Thank you for that! I'm in Estes Park right now on vacation. I found Squachy Donuts but they were somewhat disappointing. I'm stopping at Duck Donuts in Johnstown on our way home! Thank you!
Matt, Mardi Gras is coming up on February 13th this year. In the spirit of the Mardi Gras season and debauchery, please do a "Bless Your Rank' of Mardi Gras King Cakes! All the bakeries in South Louisiana will ship them to you if you order over the internet or phone! Meches Donut King in Lafayette, Gambinos from New Orleans, Poupart Bakery in Lafayette, Rouses Market in Houma are just a few! My favorite is the Bavarian cream, but the raspberry cheese cake is great too!
Add in one of the Winn Dixie/HEB/ other grocery store cakes. Though I'd LOVE for him to try Paczki (pronounced poonch-key) from the upper Midwest. They're a pre-lent/carnivale treat that's like an over-sized, cream cheese and/or fruit filled donut on CRACK. I can (and did) make my own king cakes when we lived South of Chicago, I haven't been able to find or fry my own Paczki in Texas....
Boy do I miss the cakes my grandma got from McKenzie's Bakery in New Orleans. Cream cheese and strawberry or cherry, so good! Haven't found one with the same dough/ filling ratio and taste in Houston, so I might have to try these places.
I was a donut finisher at Dunkin Donuts. I baked the prefrozen Fritters, bagels and cookies. And I filled and iced all the donuts (fried that night by the fryer-expert). I was allowed to eat as many donuts as I wanted, and the owners probably allowed this knowing that the finisher would only want to eat 2 or 3 a week. And if I overfilled a donut with cream to the point it broke open....I had to eat it...and you quickly learned to NOT overfill a donut.
@@ddw1272 I used to adore the peanutbutter cream filled (chocolate iced) donuts and the white cream filled. So, I made sure I put lots of filling in the ones I made.
Oh my goodness! When I worked at Shipley Donuts as a teenager, I was also a finisher. The donuts were made fresh at the store and I hand glazed and decorated them. I also used a tube thingy to inject the fillings into the donuts, and too much pressure made the fillings shoot out the other side of the donuts. We had to eat our mistakes, which was awesome on Day 1, but not as awesome a few days later. 😂 I still love Shipley Donuts so much!
I had a fresh, warm Krispy Kreme donut right off the conveyor belt in Seattle years ago. Also, had the opportunity to have the burger donut, that thing was delicious.
We had Spudnuts when I was a kid, get 'em while they're hot. Potato flour makes a better doughnut. I did not realize before now that Daylight was a chain.
Matt, I usually skip the sponsored portion but you make them so danged entertaining that I just have to watch. Also, your Scentbird mascot is brilliant!
My uncle Tommy founded Daylight Donuts so I’ve been a bit biased my entire life🍩 My grandad owned a Daylight location in Trenton, TN and as a little kid in the 70’s/80’s I remember eating there and having the best fried chicken ever! I always heard uncle Tommy was friends with Harland Sanders aka Colonel Sanders, and I’ve pictured them swapping chicken recipes🍗!
I basically grew up on Daylight’s donut holes. My church(I’m not there anymore) is a rather large one here in Memphis, and they had a standing order of several hundred boxes every Sunday morning. Every department got boxes for each hour of Sunday School or Service. So the choir, orchestra, youth, college, etc etc. Not being a morning person, I usually had a handful at Sunday School, then from Jr High and up I got seconds when I went to play in the orchestra for services. 😂 Probably why I always started falling asleep during the sermon though!
@Dawn_Hannah I assume you went to Bellevue Baptist. They sent donuts to our church every first Sunday. I always assumed one of the members owned a franchise.
Those are my wife's favorite. My kids love the maple and vanilla frosted ones as well, so we usually get the dozen with all three. Personally I prefer their old fashioned sour cream cake donuts and their chocolate-iced bavarian creme filled ones. Walmart donuts are underrated for sure!
My Church just had a Donut Bowl competition where we sampled donuts from two local donut stores and voted on our favorite. Interesting that I can across this video the same week we had a donut bowl
Also from Michigan, and around the Detroit area Tim Horton's is the only donut chain left that can still make legitimate crullers since the pandemic. Nobody else seems to be able to get their hands on a certain ingredient needed for that style. And by "legitimate" crullers I mean the kind that have the egg-based batter and the large air bubbles, kind of like eclair batter. I tried Krispy Kreme's "cruller" version once, and it was basically just a cake donut shaped like a tractor tire, so disappointing. And Tim Horton's has really good muffins also.
I went to Ottawa back in February 2018 as part of a college club/learning experience. The first thing my fellow students and I did after checking in to the hotel was find the nearest Tim Horton's. After 6+ hours on 2 airplanes and going from the sunshine and warmth of Georgia (by comparison) to the snow and cold of Canada, we all wanted coffee and donuts. I remember being taken aback by the numerous types of donuts!
I am from Texas and kolache are different from pigs in a blanket… we have both. Traditional kolache is fruit or maybe cream cheese. Then they start putting sausage in them. But the bread is different kolaches have sweet yeast bread and pigs in the blanket biscuits don’t usually have yeast or sugar.
Houston area guy speaking here; not all Shipley are the same. The donut size, consistency, and taste can vary from shop to shop. Even the Kolaches can be wildly different. Some are incredible and some not so much.
Also...If you don't eat a Shipley's soon ish after you get them they don't do well later IMO also Only place to get good Shipley is in Houston the ones in Austin SUCK....Also Kolache.....those are not....Don't call them that...."From a Texas Czech"
@russellharrison619 My now wife took me to Shipley for the first time when we were dating and I dared to call it a pig in a blanket. Thought she was gonna call it quits right then 🤣
Shipley has a Devils food donut is my personal favorite! A chocolate doughnut with chocolate cream filling and chocolate frosting! One will put you into a chocolate sugar coma for the day!
I'm not sure about the chocolate donut with filling, but the chocolate filled plain glazed donut is indeed filled with chocolate ICING...not cream. Now that'll give you an extreme sugar rush and a big sugar crash 😂😂😂
If you are ever in Hopkinsville, KY check out Whistlestop donuts. They are right beside the railroad track (hence the name) on 9th Street, the main east-west street through downtown. You might have to wait a while to get in, especially if there is a train and you are on the wrong side of the track, but they are worth the wait.
I worked at Walmart in the bakery a few years ago. Yes, they come in frozen. They put them on trays and put them in the frig the day before to thaw and proof. The next morning they put them in the oven. Once they cool they frost them. I’m pretty sure Dunkin is the same way.
Gotta have a Shipley's donut from the shop on Main Street in League City, Texas. I literally dream of those donuts ~~ and wake up sad because it was only a dream.
Daylight Donuts isn't exactly a chain, in the way most places are chains. The places which use that name are allowed to do so basically because they purchase the donut mix from Daylight Donuts. So each store is going to vary more than usual - they might have different mixes of donuts they offer, or different styles that the people who own that store made up. Store design and layout is also probably going to vary quite a bit.
@@TheRedleg69 In a way it is. Probably local folks from your town running it, they just happen to buy their ingredients from the same place as a bunch of other people.
and their donuts suck. Love the coffee, but my lord they need better donuts. Its like the inverse of tim hortons, who has great donuts, but their coffee could be considered a crime against humanity.
I miss Shipleys!!!!!! So good!!! You’re right, up where I live now, Dunkin doesn’t bake on sight. Their donuts are trucked to their shops. My favorite donuts back in Texas are Round Rock Donuts. Unbelievably good!!!!
Yep. " time to make the doughnuts" was real ! Good friend purchased a franchise back in the early 80s and asked me to join him. I wasn't ready to make the investment,, but spend a few weeks learning the ropes. It was great !
And the "dunkin" donut was shaped like a Q, and you hung on to the tail to dunk the rest of it. And they had all kinds of crags and rough spots that held the coffee. And cardamom in the dough. I swear they could bring those back as "artisan" donuts and make a killing. There was nothing like them.
Pig in a blanket? Son, them’s fightin’ words. A kolache ain’t a pig in a blanket. The type of sausage is different. The type of bread is different. I just… how dare you. That being said, it’s not a chain but if you’re ever in Shreveport, find your way to a Southern Maid doughnut shop because they are AMAZING. I grew up there and they are The Best. ❤ But if you are in central Texas, get yourself to West and to Czech Stop so you can learn the difference between a godawful pig in a blanket and a kolache and then you can come back and apologize.
I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma and had no idea that Daylight Donuts had any locations outside of the state. I prefer Daylight Donuts. I grew up with them, so I know that I'm biased. Not gonna lie, Krispy Kreme donuts are pretty great, but I've never had them fresh. I've only ever had them after they've been prepackaged and delivered to Walmart. On the other hand, I've had Daylight Donuts fresh every time that I've ever eaten them, since childhood. And Daylight Donuts sausage rolls are amazingly good. Never had Shipley's before. Never had Tim Horton's before. Dunkin Donuts are alright, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. And Walmart donuts don't rate as high for me personally, but they're also alright. If I'm gonna say screw my diet and eat donuts, it'll be Daylight Donuts first, and then prepackaged Krispy Kreme if it's later in the day and Daylight Donuts is closed.
I'm not big on donuts but KK's my favorite chain by far. But when it comes to local, it's Round Rock Donuts in Round Rock Texas. It's like KK but taken to a whole new level. We grabbed a half dozen for the few days we were in Texas. I inhaled them before we got back in the car.
As a Canadian my jaw dropped when you ranked Tim Hortons so high and most Canadians would agree. They used to be good back in the day when they baked them fresh in-house but a few years ago they got bought out by some Brazilian hedge fund and cut costs by switching to pre-frozen. They're also notorious for exploiting their workers who are mostly desperate immigrants. Btw you were close it's called "Timmy Hos" up here.
Some of them still bake fresh in house. I know the one on 96th and king george in surrey still uses their baking area. always smells amazing in there. I think the difference is Corporate stores vs franchise ones.
Eating a fresh, warm Shipley’s glazed donut is maybe better than a Krispy Kreme glazed donut and then you remember the chocolate iced from KK. Best donut I have ever had was Back Door Donuts in Martha’s Vineyard.
The Daylight in Selma is the best thing in Selma. Hot and fresh, and those little donut holes are the perfect ratio of icing to donut. I'd drive miles out of my way for one.
I live in NC and Krispy Kreme used to be my favorite for glazed donuts (though I'll always have a soft spot for the Dunkin Munchkins), but we got a local place a few years back that blows them out of the water. 3x the size but pillowy and delicious with an even better glaze. They're also less expensive even after they went up in price!
When the Krispy Kreme hot sign is lit you just have to hit the breaks and no less than 4 but up to six are going down the hatch before the box makes it to its destination 😂 better just grab a dozen more than you were planning on. They take credit cards
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are too sweet. Make my teeth hurt just thinking about it. But then again, my dad always made fresh donuts. Did not have store-bought donuts until I was probably a teenager.
There is another one to try though their forte is not the glazed yeast variety. Duck Donuts and their world of custom topped donuts. Product of the NC Coast and have exploded across the country. They are worth a place in the next competition for cake and/or fresh n' hot.
Here to say Krispy Kreme, especially hot and fresh, is in a league of its own in the pantheon of food. They are great any time, but man...when they are hot you can eat 12 and not even realize it. they are like little clouds of happiness.
Matt, if you ever come down to Coastal South Mississippi and drive anywhere near Ocean Springs, you need to stop by Tato Nuts. Early is better so you can be near the head of the line and have a good selection (before they sell out). Also, if you're in the area anyways, drive across the bridge to Biloxi and head to Le Bakery for fresh turnovers and bubble tea. If you want to get sugared up first thing in the morning, the Mississippi Gulf Coast is your huckleberry.

But I believe that would have been a game changer for this ranking. Your humor is great, always fun to laugh so hard at your videos! Thank you!
Even when they aren't warm, they are multitudes better than the other chains. Shipley's has the best selection and quality.
He mentioned that they tasted better in Texas. Maybe they vary a lot between locations.
Matt doubling down and flipping off Dunkin Donuts at the beginning caught me so off guard. I'm still wiping tears from my eyes 😂
#TexCzech

The 2 years Krispy Kreme was here might’ve been the greatest in my life.

Publix bakes their donuts in house & they are terrific! And any small, local, independent donut shop is probably #1!
OMG the Publix bakery has seriously jumped the shark, IMO!
And if I overfilled a donut with cream to the point it broke open....I had to eat it...and you quickly learned to NOT overfill a donut.
this explains why i've always gotten underfilled donuts there. I'd rather have one burst on the bottom than get blue balls from an empty cream filled
The Dunkin' recipe must be really fragile. My mom and pop shop I go to has Donuts that have a decent amount of filling compared to all the chains.

I basically grew up on Daylight’s donut holes. My church(I’m not there anymore) is a rather large one here in Memphis, and they had a standing order of several hundred boxes every Sunday morning. Living in Michigan, love me some Timmie's.......
Moved to the gulf from WNY last year, and I took a journey to the TWO Tim Hortons Locations in the Houston, TX area. Needed my Tim’s fix
wish they would go back to making them in house though
I went to Ottawa back in February 2018 as part of a college club/learning experience. The first thing my fellow students and I did after checking in to the hotel was find the nearest Tim Horton's.
2010 Kentucky State Fair, I had a Kristy Kreme bacon cheese burger. A donut on top and bottom, instead of the normal bun. It was mind-blowing-good!
Thank you for the explanation. I'm 46 and thought it was just a restaurant in the tiny town I grew up in. Had no idea it was anywhere else.

I miss Shipleys!!!!!! So good!!! You’re right, up where I live now, Dunkin doesn’t bake on sight. Their donuts are trucked to their shops.
My favorite donuts back in Texas are Round Rock Donuts. Unbelievably good!!!!

Really think you should start doing these rankings blind.
I'm so old, that I remember when Duncan made great donuts fresh in the shop. They were good back then.
But if you are in central Texas, get yourself to West and to Czech Stop so you can learn the difference between a godawful pig in a blanket and a kolache and then you can come back and apologize.

Me with future diabetus after eating an entire dozen by myself of Krispy Kreme 👀
Why not T-Ho’s?
Sounds like Dunkin. Guess the frozen donuts are a thing. Go to the small non chain stores- THOSE donuts are truly fresh!
Some of them still bake fresh in house. I know the one on 96th and king george in surrey still uses their baking area. always smells amazing in there. I think the difference is Corporate stores vs franchise ones.
Tim Hortons was bought out by Burger King. Sorry Canada.
We like our Tim’s here in Michigan too. A good doughnut and very good cup of coffee.
In college, I lived right behind a Shipley's and believe me the smell each morning was heavenly
Eating a fresh, warm Shipley’s glazed donut is maybe better than a Krispy Kreme glazed donut and then you remember the chocolate iced from KK. Best donut I have ever had was Back Door Donuts in Martha’s Vineyard.
I’ve always had a thing for Daylight Donuts. Obviously, Krispy Kreme has to be my #1, but the Daylight in Jackson, MS makes legit good donuts.
The Daylight in Selma is the best thing in Selma. Hot and fresh, and those little donut holes are the perfect ratio of icing to donut. I'd drive miles out of my way for one.
I have to agree, Daylight would have been my solid number 2 after KK.
I’ve been going to ones in and around Tulsa for ages. An Oklahoma institution like Sonic, Braums, and Webers root beer
So does the one in Cartersville GA. I was shocked that they were ranked so far down the list
Shipley’s is by far my favorite and go to!
Daylight really shines in the cake donut category. Best ever.
Glad to see Matt giving good ol' Winston Salem NC some love! Go Krispy Kreme!
Had a cousin who worked at a donut place, fresh dough and all, can't beat a donut that has been freshly fried.
Give me a Daylight Doughnuts Long John paired with one of their sausage and cheese pig in the blankets. Perfect sweet and savory combination!
Shipley is the best!! All depends on your tastes buds.
I’m a North Carolina guy and love those Hot Now KK’s, but you’re right! We recently got a Duck franchise here, and they’re awesome!
I remember a trip to Duck, OBX... being blown away... then a location popped up in Alpharetta, GA and I went insane! I thought it was local only.
Here to say Krispy Kreme, especially hot and fresh, is in a league of its own in the pantheon of food. They are great any time, but man...when they are hot you can eat 12 and not even realize it. they are like little clouds of happiness.
Hi, from Oklahoma.... with me being an Okie... we love our Daylight Donuts!
Daylight is the best!!!!
I used to live in Biloxi, married a girl from Ocean Springs. Can confirm those donuts are amazing!
We were in a Krispy Kreme last night and were telling the clerk about this video. He suggested we try Duck Donuts - he said they were good. You might want to add them to your review.
