Good video, thanks very much, but for anyone that did not receive the instructions (like me) be aware that at 8:18 when he describes the torques values, he says them backwards. it is 136 in the front, and 85 in the rear. Not the other way around. I starting torquing them to 85 on both and stopped because I could feel the back one was done, and it seemed like the bigger bolt in the front would want more. I did some research online, found the instructions, and yes, 136 (185 nm)front, 85 (115 nm) rear. Other than that, this was a helpful video, and allowed me to kneow what to expect before starting.
Looks great, it reminds of the Ram 1500 limited black (red edition). Your tow hooks pops, it brings out the whole accent of the truck it speaks volume more so than the Ram 1500 Red edition.
Good evening rob, like the shade of red on your tow hooks. Just asking, have you ever used tow hooks in your life? And if so, can you share what you used them for?
A couple of things. 85ft lbs rear, not front. You put 136 on that rubber washer/plug, you will destroy it. Installing those little t bolts is near impossible. Unbelievable pain to get that in. Awkward is a gross understatement.

Correct, the long bolt (rear) has less torque. 136# will likely damage the bushing.
Yes sir, rie. Looks sweeter than pecan pie. Wonderful job Rob.
Lol! Thanks 👍
The tow hooks look great! The front of the Ram is looking pretty good. Nice job Rob. 👍
Thanks 👍
I like the red accents on black ram
I’m very happy with it too looks great red and black really go well
Thanks 👍
You’re welcome
Looking good. You should consider adding rear tow hooks as well. Shift and Grins makes a bracket to mount them.
I’ll be adding something 🤔
Good job. Adds to the front end of the truck just like the RAM lettering in the grille.
Thanks👍

You can remove the airdam flap for more room.. I believe it's 2 small bolts on each side.
The Tow Hooks look great Rob 👍
Thanks Chad👍
Very nice, really makes the front end POP! Awesome job! 👍

Looks awesome 😎 Rob , reminds me I have repaint my red tow hooks on my Tahoe. A few paint nicks in it from being used.
That’ll freshen them up👍
Nice work. Definitely going to do mine.

YES👍
Looks better without
Matter of preference I suppose.
@@robmotivetoo and a bigger matter of functionality. Sometimes it's much easier to pull a stuck vehicle out in reverse.
