Great idea! It's super hard to take a good photo in those places especially at golden tourist time because there're just soo many people all around waiting in line so you have to think and shoot fast.
@@HH-yo8zl When I lived in NY we had to shoot within a few minutes because either a whole bunch of traffic was on the way or some kind of security was going to come and kick us out of a park or private location lol
I agree! It would be cool to see something a little more pressed for time and a different situation. She'll still kill it though because she's done these enough hehe
I had a blast being a part of this video. Thanks for inviting me Jess. I gotta step it up for the next one. Get ready! I’m bringing the prop for the next challenge! ✌🏼🤓
All of the pictures looked really good but my favorite by far is Jessica's with the watermelon on the eye. That looks amazing. I love the editing as well.
I loved seeing how Noah got more comfortable with both of them as the video progressed... And honestly, both of your portraits blew me away. When I look at Antonio's shots, high fashion instantly comes to mind. And Jessica's pictures, they had a sort of beauty that reminds me of art, of something that you'd want to paint or draw. Both of you did amazing, and so did the model! :)
You should also check out Pinterest, in the past few years its been flooded with so many beautiful creative images that you'll start questioning why you started shooting in the first place haha jk but yeah Thats where i build all my mood boards
I ALWAYS love your challenge videos like these. Both of you took some great shots. I love seeing the difference in edits. The colors and kind of mood that each photographer prefers to tell in the photo is awesome.
You're a winning team! Actually preferred Antonio's portrait shots but felt Jessica won it with prop work! Couldn't decide between the unconventional portraits. Great work - all round.
I rarely make a comment, however, I leave a comment now. I believe Antonio's pictures were far more interesting. I loved the way he communicated with the model and how he was directing her. Thank you for the Challenge Jessica. It would be really good to see more of these videos.
Holland Rainwater ! start by putting your shutter around 1/50 and maybe drop it down even slower depending on her movement. (She was moving slowly and trying not to move her head as much) And adjust the rest of your settings accordingly. In this case that was f8 ISO 100 Hope it helps. Tag me if you post any photos done with this technique, I want to see! 🙌🏼
I love the photos from both of you! It's always so refreshing to see your photography series (this and the 4 photographer series) as it's brilliant to see how different the results can be from the exact same shoot.
You ladies and gents are GOOFBALLS and it's awesome. Haha. All the photos were great. Both photographers are great. The model was great. The person recording was great. The two fellas in the background were cool too. Thank you all 🤘🏾 The third shoot was my favorite from you both, though all of them were great. I really love the colors in that one and also how Antonio captured movement and it gave a nice edge kind of vibe. Jessica, I love the one where you made it seem like the model was ”wearing” the plant as a hat. Pretty artistic.
Oh my goodness, this cracked me up. Especially at the end, I know that man stood there and talked more than you bargained for. I love those kinds of interesting people (when I'm in the mood). 😂
What I love about your channel is that I get to know other photographers to draw inspirations from. Antonio is pretty good! Hoping to do something like this for my channel soon.
OMG Jessica I also always say that Mike’s super short show bit every time someone says “Now you know.” 😂 No one ever knows what I’m talking about. I feel connected to you on a different level now. 🙏🏻
Jessica you are so nice and super fun. I really like your relaxed videos and you inspire me to get out there and start shooting. Would love to join you on a shoot one day, when I have a better feel for what I am doing and a bit more confidence.
I love your challenges! You are so inspirational with everything you do. The prop challenge was my favorite! Don’t worry I understood your Disney channel references 😂
❤️ the gentleman at the end. My favorite thats a tough one, I like the third one with the plants and and I like Antonio's watermelon with the green background it makes the red pop. And I read putting red objects in your photos draws more attention to them.
Kai S ! start by putting your shutter around 1/50 and maybe drop it down even slower depending on her movement. (She was moving slowly and trying not to move her head as much) And adjust the rest of your settings accordingly. In this case that was f8 ISO 100 Hope it helps. Tag me if you post any photos done with this technique, I want to see! 🙌🏼
Antonio, you do not give yourself much credit but I can tell that you are extremely professional and I could tell that before you ever took a picture, just by the way that you held the camera. Just like I can tell a good golfer or tennis pro by the way that they hold their equipment. Yes, I know that there are debates about this but there has been some scientific study (guess they didn't have anything better to do) and found that the way you hold the camera was the optimum way to fully stabilize the camera...kudos to you....I teach my photography students to use the same method of holding the camera as you do. I thought the posing was great on each set (Jessica and Antonio) but I did notice a little bit of facial distortion on the 50mm lens and some slight distortion on the other lens. Would like to have seen you shoot at 100 mm to eliminate that and give better proportion to the face, but nice shots anyway and beautiful model and an interesting session.
yep!! jokes were the best!! Jes -pic was good! and also Anto -the blured shot was something different! The model's pants athe the last scene was something like and illusion! hats off to the designer!! (Just see the bright part of the pant! it makes her legs slim).
Hi Jessica, Is it all about the equipment or more about the practise??? my dream of being a photographer has always be dampened by my uncertainty. Do you haven tips that could help? Thanks keep up the great videos Peace
Like Antonio said, its more about the practice! The more you do it the more comfortable you become. same concept of using, lets say a hammer. You can bash a nail in a wall but if done wrong it will damage and bend the nail but the more you do it, the better of a rhythm you develop (your own style) and execution becomes seamless. Don't get frustrated, things take time. Took me 6 years to start producing my best work and I still have years to go
love the challenges Jessica! I wanna see you do a film vs digital challenge. Shoot with a really small SD card or limit the shots you take to 36. Also you cant review your images until after the shoot.
Hey Jessica, thank you for these videos, it's such a great collection of inspirations. We ourselves do the same since 2018. Just without shooting a video of it. We are 2 gentlemen and mostly three female photographers, and currently have three fixed models and change the location, different cities or places in the city. It usually makes more fun to spend time together. The models will decisively determine our next challenge is choosing their outfits and location. I look forward to this next challenge. Thank you for inspiring us, greetings from Germany
You should go to really touristy places and try to take pictures that are different than the usual cliché Instagram pics of those places
Great idea! It's super hard to take a good photo in those places especially at golden tourist time because there're just soo many people all around waiting in line so you have to think and shoot fast.

yeah it’s like how so many people take pictures in front of the eiffel tower looking up
'Antonio knows what he's doing but won't ever give himself credit for it, but he's good' gotta love photographers supporting photographers!🤘🏼
Adam Meaney ❣️
I think I actually prefer his photos over hers! He doesn't seem like much then BAM!
I had a blast being a part of this video. Thanks for inviting me Jess. I gotta step it up for the next one.
Get ready! I’m bringing the prop for the next challenge! ✌🏼🤓
You did a great job.
You had me laughing the whole video
Your photos are really amazing
Your photos are really beautiful!❤️
what were your settings for the last blurry pics!
I preferred Jessica's editing but Antonio's shots were definitely winning for me
That model is the best!! She's so high energy and fun
you haven't seen gorgie's videos yet?!
I love all your videos, they're so helpful. Also, I understood the Mike's Super Short Show reference if that makes you feel any better lol
You, brandon, and the other photographers you do stuff with have been such an inspiration to me the past year. Thank you so much!!
Same here man. They're amazing. Sometimes I have to stop myself from copying their style because it's so good, but I'll find my own style eventually
@@elivicks2742 well thats how we learn! Picking up stuff from everyone we admire and love :)
Except Brandon
SAME!
Jessica's style is very 'instagram' whereas Antonio's is more 'magazine/editorial'. Both sets of photos were really cool!
Anonio's unconventional portraits photos were very creative!! love it.
All of the pictures looked really good but my favorite by far is Jessica's with the watermelon on the eye. That looks amazing. I love the editing as well.

The model looks like Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss combined 😳🤩
Even I thought that lol
THAT'S WHAT I ALSO THOUGHT
You're a winning team! Actually preferred Antonio's portrait shots but felt Jessica won it with prop work! Couldn't decide between the unconventional portraits. Great work - all round.

I love the photos from both of you! It's always so refreshing to see your photography series (this and the 4 photographer series) as it's brilliant to see how different the results can be from the exact same shoot.
We loved the water melon slice shots, the shots with hands on head and fingers on face looked great too. Great team work guys.
AWESOME! Great photos....that fun little challenge turned out great! Good job guys! Loved the watermelon! 🍉

Love this kind of video. I like Jessica's photos in the 3rd challenge and I like Antonio's in 2nd one.
Oh my goodness, this cracked me up. Especially at the end, I know that man stood there and talked more than you bargained for. I love those kinds of interesting people (when I'm in the mood). 😂
One of the reasons why I relate to you so much, that reference to Mike's Super Short Show haha!
What I love about your channel is that I get to know other photographers to draw inspirations from. Antonio is pretty good! Hoping to do something like this for my channel soon.

wow, i love antonio’s warm tones 😍
I've been bingewatching your videos and I really really appreciate them. But then you dropped a Mike's Super Short show reference. BOOM. Subscribed.
This is a real tutorial! Keep up the good work, I've already subscribed to your channel!
Can you please do more of these? when I get a creative block I always come rewatch your videos. It HELPS so much lol

Genilyn Ortizano oh thank you! Just trying to keep up with Jess, she’s the real master.
love that in the watermelon prop portrait challenge 8:21 the model is showing the middle finger haha. but great job both of you:)
love antonio's pics on the last round!!!!!
the winner is antonio !!! ♥
i love jessica♥
It would be really cool to see a portrait photographer try portrait painting tbh
We would fail miserably, unless we have some kind of art major. Painting is an entirely different beast and a beauty in itself
I love watching your photography challenge videos. They always inspire me!
OMG first time to be early😍😍 I love you Jessica💗
Gorgeous model! All photos are amazing, but I love Antonio’s more
Eva PM 🙈thank you
I really amazed by the edits of watermelon. You are an amazing photographer Jess!
The model Noa did a really great job, especially in the last part where Antonio shot 👍🏻

First challenge I’ve seen that Jessica won. Dope pictures.
