If photographers were honest, they'd admit there is some validity to your statement. I've worked with models and people who have no modeling experience. There is a difference as to what they offer to your portfolio as well.
@@matteup1502 I don't see anyone denying that a pretty/experienced model helps, otherwise they wouldn't be paying for them or really respecting them and what they bring to the photographs.
The shots are on point and your enthusiasm certainly mitigates any shortcomings in "production value". Very enjoyable to watch.

I think it's more about the lens, low depth of field can make even a potato look good 😀
To go wireless mic on the cheap! Use your Smartphone with a lav mic. Use your phone to record the audio and sync in post.

This was the best tip that everyone who deals with models or any female subject to make them feel beautiful. Telling her that "Vogue is call" is an awesome way to make the model feel so beautiful and that she is very talented with three little words. That's so much better than saying awesome, beautiful, and many other compliments that you could have said.

I'm glad to see some portrait photographers still shooting on film. Out of curiosity, have you tried medium format? My first SLR was a Canon AE1 35mm camera in the 90s.

Looks pretty great, however I would recommend trying to stabilize your video footage as it looks kind of shaky sometimes. I think it would look a lot better that way! :)
