just a video suggestion. a pro photographer shoots a non-model vs non-photographer shoots a supermodel. curious of how the pictures would turn out. hope you would consider, Goodluck!
Can we get a "AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER VS AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER" video which is 40 minutes long because amateur #1 forgot his sd cards and his battery and amateur #2 shot the first 30 minutes with the lens cap on?
Omg I am not amateur, but yesterday I went to record a video in another city and I left two batteries at home and the one that was inside the camera was on 0% xD
I'm gonna give my honest comments so I hope nobody kills me for these: First of all the model is b e a u t i f u l !! Her hair is loveee, the blue dress!! Her posing is natural and flows well too. Flannery's photos are unique and dynamic, I personally love her shots more as they tell a story and is more candid. Also, the posing ideas are different and works well with the environment! Jessica's photos are clear and simple (not in a bad way), I especially like that one close up portrait shot of the model. But I find the other photos a bit too normal? it's good to have a few clear shots like that especially if it's for a fashion catalogue but a few more dynamic/unique poses would've added variation to it :) Don't get me wrong, I think both photographers are good in their own styles :) keep it up!
I agree with you about Jessica. Sometimes, she tries to hide Flannery taking photos like when there was a spider the model almost went into. When Jessica took photos, there was no interruptions. In my opinion, her photos are a bit too simple for me, and “worse?” when compared to Flannery’s diverse and complex photos. Flannery uses most of the area to get the best pro pictures, while Jessica stays to one corner and wastes time. Also, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to call her a pro photographer because anybody with some Nixon camera can pull off equivalent photos. Just my opinion, though.
I feel like you do not have to feel shame for voicing your opinion. We won't get you wrong! After all, what we all perceive artistically will be different - and we all can see the differences between the two photographers here anyway. Anyho, I would compare what I see from the photos as being suitable for different purposes: Flannery - more magazine/editorial shots; Jessica - more instagram-styled shots, perhaps wedding shots. Their two different styles would produce results suitable for different occasions.
If you want to hire an artist, go with Flannery. If you'd like someone to get your corporate money shots done, hire you know who - just personal opinion. This is how I feel for all these amateur episodes :)
Jessica is such a good photographer but idk why gets anxiety when shooting with other photographers and ends up taking very simple shots, while Flannery was confident and did an awesome job.
After watching this, I got very motivated to go out and just shoot amazing pictures, so I got up to grab my camera and realised I don't have a camera .____. Anyway, nice video!
you should do a videographer & photographer swap. basically you try to film and edit really cool clips and the videographer tries to take and edit the photos
*These photographers just make different, but good photos. Jess this video format is impressive, don't stop!* _Any small film makers wanna support each other?_
Jessica!! Phenomenal photographer. I love how you include so many different ppl. You totally inspire me i binge your videos for asmr. Its 1:36am i should be sleep lmao
This vid has taught me so mucb about using your environment, lighting and a bit of shadows with Flannery blue dresses shots to tell a story or pullin viewer(s) attention/imagination to think of whats happening or seem to happening in the photoshots with the model and everything. Love Love Love!! You are a blessing of inspiration and knowledge for me to reference off from Jessica! Thank you and everyone you've had so far for each vid to make these amazing vidz for me and others to learn from!
We loved the red door background...brightly coloured furniture is always a plus for when wearing earth tones, soid white or black. The jumping was great, leaf holding, standing straight near the door. Great jobs ladies. Your chemistry with each other was most beautiful of all. Thanks Ms K
This is such a cool video. Love to see more videos like this. This can be the start of a new video series. An addition to your four photographers shoot the same model series. This is a great start with this video with you (Jessica,) and Flannery. You guys did a great job with this video. Looking forward to seeing more like it.
if you need locations, get the train to Canary Wharf on a Saturday or Sunday, lots of good photo places nearby and its empty as its a office job hub. Its superr modern. Areas around Kings Cross station at night are amazing too, theres lots of glow up lights and neon water fountains on the ground, theres a couple neon lit gazebos with swing in the middle, and some other stuff like that nearby thats cool. Southbank near the London eye is great too, its near the national youth theatre which has a great view of the London eye, and you can go on the roof. also skate rings, local markets and cute restaurants and stuff by the river. its also by an awesome bridge over the thames. just a couple suggestions !! :)
I love how in almost every video with weird weather youre like "this is nothing im from Michigan I know the weather " 😂😂 as a fellow Michigander I love this and relate
It would be awesome if you all gave the photos from these sessions to two different graphic designers to do the editorial layout. Pro photographer versus pro photographer and pro designer vs. pro designer.
Bad weather is awesome to shoot in. If you think it's going to rain then make the rain work for you. Get a clear umbrella and maybe some brightly colored funky looking ones too. A bright yellow rain slicker. Would have gone good with her blue dress. Maybe some rain boots that are brightly colored. Also good to have on hand are several different sized transparent sheets of plastic to hold over the model or a small one for her to sit on wet ground.. You could shoot through one with water drops on it, really great for twilight or heavy overcast where cars have their headlights on and street lamps and store fronts are lit up. Rain backlit by a strobe to freeze the drops of water or long enough to show a little streaking. Closeup of her face with drops of water on her hair and eyelashes.
Both the photographers did amazing! I found Jessica's more editorial, while Flannery's had a sense of commercial or catalogue to them. But they're both definitely making it to the printers.
I love these videos so much! Never stop filming these please. The model & photographers are all very stunning! I loved all the photos. 😍 I’d love to see a video where a pro photographer photoshoots another pro photographer.
Jessica i was having a bad day and i was so happy to watch your video yesterday that i re-watched it today i was so excited to see that you where in London, that's where i am. Anyway i love you and support you all the way always and i just want to say thank you because you always inspire me and if your reading this i don't know if you remember but on your live i was one of your first viewers and i was the first comment that said i love you Jessica then on another live you said hey Bethany twice. I love your friend’s blonde hair. She is absolutely gorgeous & so talented. But her root color that rich brown OMG!! It would make her icy blue eyes literally POP! 🤩
