Your demos are awesome because they strike a good balance of showing what each knob does, but also showing good applications (certain configurations, instruments passed through).
My immediate reaction to the first 30 seconds is "this reminds me of my Mid-Fi Pitch Pirate." I'm not sure if you're familiar with that pedal or not, but man do I wish there were more Mid-Fi pedals.
To be clear, the Pitch Pirate often gets wildly out of tune, and doesn't necessarily have the lo-fi effect that this pedal has. This thing is like a much more refined version of it. I like it a lot!
@@DoNoise I was under the understanding that they are no longer around. At least when I look for their stuff now, the only thing I can find is used sales on ebay. I think I bought my Pitch Pirate from them when they were still selling on ebay, but I can't recall. Regardless, I love their stuff. However, this is really an awesome pedal! And I love the fact that it's a bit in the same style. I would like to get my hands on one.
Excellent video and demo. One suggestion; you tend to leave the LPG knob fully clockwise or you occasionally sweep it left but will return to full right. Try leaving this knob somewhere between 10:00 and 3:00 and listen to how the filtering responds to playing dynamics. Yes, a very cool pedal!
First of all, thanks for no glistening streams, or high flying clouds. 😂 This pedal sounds like someone took the modulation part of a Memory Man type Delay, and made it into a stand-alone effect.
this is the only pedal so far that does an convincing flutter-effect. Im curious how this would stack with Walrus Audio Julianna, where Julianna would be in vibrato mode with low LFO-speed and some nice drift to get the wow/wobble-thing going aswell
Strymon Deco with an expression pedal for controlling wobble is also cool because you can control the wobble "placement" and play it on strategic notes.
Nice choices! Lately I’ve been really enjoying Eventide Rose, Dr Scientist The Atmosphere and Mooer A7. I’d recommend these if you don’t need stereo. Keeley Eccos and Source Audio Nemesis&Ventris are great stereo options.
I own one and never fully understood the lpg finally I now get it
Glad to be able to help!
I'm not normally one for chorus but this thing is pretty awesome

This is one of the most beautiful pedals ever. Full stop.
I think this is the best demo of this pedal.

Yeah, I don’t have experience with it but I know about Pitch Pirate. Mid-Fi makes interesting stuff.

They look pretty active on Instagram but might only be putting out small batches for those who order direct.
Midfi is still very active. I just bought a Scrape Flutter pedal from him and it’s awesome. Reach out to Doug on Insta, he’s very responsive.
This thing sounds so elegant.
I have always been proud of how shallow in am, I like this!

It’s at 2 o’clock or further ccw for most of the video.
I keep seeing that FC might be coming out with a new pedal next month. I hope so!
Nice. I’ve always preferred the shallow end.
I want one! Great job btw

@@sjkdhgalgci AH yes the Strymon Deco , i love that wobble in there aswell. would love to hear your idea in sounds :)
I just got the shallow water and the teisco fuzz as my first two pedals. Looking for delay and reverb recommendations
Nice choices!

@@DoNoise if you had to pick one delay and one reverb what would you go for?
I like having options so if I had to choose just one of each I’d go for Source Audio Nemesis and Ventris.
@@DoNoise those are cool but I work in mono only 😅 think I'll go for the Dr Scientist The Atmosphere and the Eventide Rose 👍
Those would work good in mono as well but Rose and Atmosphere are solid options, too
Yo what synth are you using?
It’s a synth from GarageBand (iOS).
