Hello so basically I have 2 questions 1: how do you guys make designs and how do you come up with ideas + at the same time make them fast and with quality 2: what is a good starting budget for a etsy pod business including etsy ads and mock ups etc and how long does it take to see results on average if you work every day to improve? And thank you for all the information the stream was really helpful!!
Having good software and an organised, efficient process is really important. Any repetitive task in your processes can most likely be automated to speed it up. Like using drips in Photoshop to do bulk actions on design files like re-sizing them. Identify the areas you are weak on and do tutorials or courses to bring yourself up to speed. Expect to learn a lot, and continually improve! I make my own mockups unless I can find a perfect one, in which case I'll buy it if it saves me time.

By the end of the 3-4 week period therefore, how much could we be expecting to pay for ads each day? Etsy limits shops and spend limit and increases it as they grow. So in the beginning you’ll only be allowed to set a budget up to $25, and as your shops ages and you pay your bills to Etsy, then you will get higher ad budgets. The $25 in the beginning can be for either 1 product or your whole shop or any variation in between. You decide which products you want to advertise and which you don’t. He is definitely advertising all products bc he believes they will all be successful.

if you are doing Digital Downloads for a tumbler design for example, what do you do/recommnd for licencing? Should you specify not for commerical use or not mention anything..... especially if you have both digital download and physical purchase
