    Thank you Rabbi Friedman for the Wednesday VIP live session last night. Your message about allowing the newness of what is being learned to become a part of a person - let it settle in for a bit - before wearing it outside the 'house' was a very timely answer to a question I had. Very grateful for your work - Baruch Ha'Shem.

    Thank you for this clear explanation of the sephiros. I have a question about the derivation of the word "nature". You said it means "I do not know". From what language does it mean that? According to Wikipedia, "The word nature... is derived from the Latin word natura, or "essential qualities, innate disposition", and in ancient times, literally meant "birth". In ancient philosophy, natura is mostly used as the Latin translation of the Greek word physis (φύσις), which originally related to the intrinsic characteristics of plants, animals, and other features of the world to develop of their own accord." And in Hebrew טֶבַע translates to nature, character, element, substance.

    Why is Daath called the forbidden sephira?

    • @Pierrot-il-Pagliaccio-1719
      @Pierrot-il-Pagliaccio-1719 3 года назад

      @Alexander von Makedonian
      Hello there! Daath is not necessarily a "forbidden" Sephirah but rather is not exactly a Sephirah at all.
      It is the unification of all the Sephiroth sharing and revealing the Divine Light. Daath itself means Knowledge, as when the Divine Light is revealed, one comes to know and recognise G-d. Gaining Knowledge of him.
      It also represents one of the three Intellectual Sephiroth alongside Chokhmah and Binah (Wisdom and Understanding). With Daath being both an application and manifestation of them. Itself also being a reflection of Kether, the Divine Mind.
      I hope this helped!

      @@Pierrot-il-Pagliaccio-1719 so meditating on Daath would be a good idea then? I always thought Daath is kind of a forbidden sephira

    Great lecture except for the 2+2 analogy (it will always be 4)
    Changing 2+2 to =6 will not be a miracle, it will be a lie.

    • @ohheyhowyoudoin9635
      @ohheyhowyoudoin9635 2 года назад +1

      I think the Rabbi was saying that 2+2=4 only because God chose it to be so. If God desired it could be 6. It's a law to us but an arbitrary (as far as we know) decision of God, and subject to His changing it if He chooses to do so, at any time.

    Dear Rabbi. The verse of the Quran that is preached the UNITY of the Eternal: Verse 2. 107 NS = 2 + 1 + 0 + 7 = 10 says:
    - "Do you not know that Gd belongs to the kingdom of heaven and earth and that besides Gd you will not have another Protector or Defender?"
    So we have in the names
    a) Ismael VN = 451 NS = 10 and Issac VN = 208 NS = 10
    b) Hagar VN = 208 NS = 10 and Sara VN = 505 NS = 10 and,
    c) Tamar VN = 640 NS = 10 and Perets VN = 370 NS = 10 because one of his descendants foreseen in the professions will gather them in the Temple of Solomon
    Blessed be the ETERNAL who gave us the TORAH and the QURAN and, Blessed be the memories of Moses and Muhammad ALLELUIA!
