WARNING IN BIBLE: 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. 17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. 20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. (Ezkiel 33:7-20). Heaven&Hell Exists,Dont be Deceived.
Rabbi Friedman, I listened to a group discussion you led regarding why evil exists. In the discussion, you point out that evil has an energy which should be harnessed and/or channeled in such a way as to bring goodness into the world (I hope I am paraphrasing you adequately). Well, I think that your message about needs and neediness in this monologue is a good exercise in what you may have been suggesting about evil and how we should relate to it. This application is certainly more constructive than the tendency toward despair and hopelessness. Thank you, Rabbi.

Rabbi, my family was Jewish when they escaped Germany to America. They arrived the day Lincoln was assassinated. I have familiarized myself with the history of Germanic Jews since the 1800s in order to understand why my family came here. It’s very sad because in my opinion after learning so much, I believe they were forced by society to reject their culture and Jewish beliefs. I have always felt very strongly that being a Jew would bring me closer to the higher power of the universe, to the energy of creation and help guide me in the direction of growing as a person. I do not believe I am still considered a Jew by blood, but I would really love to return my own beliefs to Judaism not only in honor of my family but also because it would feel great to me personally. How do I go about doing this?
Thank you Rabbi. I find you provide a great additional depth to Torah/Old Testament teachings with your insight, and your ability to explain our complex modern internal issues in a simple and sensible way is invaluable.
My mother-in-law died at the age of 92- two weeks after she began refusing to eat or drink everything she was given. She had no health problems other than arthritis and a recurring UTI. Initially, the nurses at the assisted living tried to force feed her. She fought fiercely against this so they gave up. It surprised me that it took two weeks for the body to give up her soul. I struggled to understand why someone would simply refuse to eat. Your thesis presents a compelling rationale for otherwise seemingly irrational behavior.
I decided today to start following the sabbath and trying to make God happy and then he brought me this message and I understood so much and now I no longer feel guilt for feeling needy ❤ thank you so much Elohim for putting this man here ❤❤❤❤

@@melvinvines2238 And they say it was the _white_ man who did this. Perhaps it was mostly the ones who _pass_ as white. The Irish were treated appallingly as well, besides Africans and Aboriginal Americans. Those who also warred against one another, tribe against tribe, and/or sold their "own kind" into slavery. They say it's the white man's fault, but the wealthy elite white man is killing his own kind of the lower social status alongside other peoples, regardless of supposed privileges. Some evil people who _happen_ to be Jews did and are doing some atrocious things, but that doesn't make all Jews bad. That also goes for any race or ethnicity.
I'm very much amazed by watching this video. I haven't ever heard such a type of speech over the need of the creator. One cannot think in this way, this is a very different and courageous thought but still sounds absolutely wise. Thanks a lot respected Rabbi.
We were given life, and a world to live in. God gave us the ability to make this world how we want to make it, hence in a way, he passed on his ability to create onto us, his children. When we really sit back and think about that, we have every reason to wake up in the morning, to live each day to the fullest, to use our blessing to make the best world that we possibly can. We can make this world into something truly great. All we have to do is embrace the blessings bestowed upon us. Live the way God intends us to. Death has no room to be the motivator. Wasting the life we were blessed with is the worst thing we could possibly do both to God, and to ourselves. Even though on an individual level we cannot influence the entire world, we can influence what we can reach. If we all get up each morning and do that, this world would be as God intends it to be sooner than we could imagine. Thank you Rabbi Friedman. Again you always find a way to inspire.

Thank. You Rabbi Manis as always your words carry great wisdom. We are needed by the creator to fulfil his purpose for us willingly and yes it is so liberating to be needed. We Irish know all about the oppressive weight of sin and unworthiness. I had to relearn how to be Joyful later in life.
Thank you for the video Rabbi Manis Friedman. I set out on a personal quest to find out who God is. I prayed to God to give me knowledge and for Gabriel to help be my guide. I didn't know it at the time but he answered and truth manifested itself through scripture. So I read the Old Testament and wanted to know more. So I read the Torah and found out there's way more meaning to Jewish language than the Holy Bible could ever encompass. So I studied the names of God and what they meant. Then I studied ancient world religions and got wrapped up in Mesopotamian culture. I studied the Greek gods, the Canaanite gods, the viking gods, and on and on this went. All the knowledge of the world confused me and I asked myself last night, why do I praise God? If I and everyone around me is doomed to purgatory or damnation then why would I want to serve? Why am I here? Why can't we live forever? Why do I want to know a God that cursed all humankind to know death? Then today I saw this, and am content. It's not me that NEEDS to live or die, it's God that needs me to live and die, whatever and whoever God is. God seems to always answer me, just not when I expect it. Another thing I learned is that Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, this is the trinity of God, the 3 formed from 7. If get over ourselves and came together instead of bickering on the details then all would be at peace. War over who's right is our biggest mistake.
my children used to need me, there all grown up now. I spend a lot of time with nature, I feed the birds and they know me now, they make me feel needed. I trust God and need to feel he, s got my back. Is that wrong..? X

As a Jew and a recovering addict, I've always found Rabbi Friedman's wisdom uplifting and spiritually inspiring. His words are more often than not very relatable to my recovery.
Thank you Rabbi Manis Friedman.
I am Catholic but love listening to him spread the Word of God. He makes so much sense❤
Shalom rabbi Friedman, we love you, and thank g-d for using you as a pawn to spread the message of life. Amen
I couldn’t have said it better myself and I’m sure you speak for many!
I agree as I feel the same - he has opened up my mind to me in such a wonderful way.
WARNING IN BIBLE:
7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

I know the Jewish people have suffered horribly. Thank you for your wisdom and God Bless

Life cannot die. We are life. We are infinite truth and love. L’Chaim

Toda Raba
I appreciate Hashem for u and your teaching.
You shall love God with your whole heart soul and strength . We need to know our purpose not our self interest. Blessed be God forever.
Our purpose is to grow up and understand The Farher knows better then our Ego.. Make His endgoal come true so He can become a Grandfather.
I decided today to start following the sabbath and trying to make God happy and then he brought me this message and I understood so much and now I no longer feel guilt for feeling needy ❤ thank you so much Elohim for putting this man here ❤❤❤❤

They say it's the white man's fault, but the wealthy elite white man is killing his own kind of the lower social status alongside other peoples, regardless of supposed privileges.

Baruch Hashem its about time to rethink
His mercies are new every morning
