Same! I've always lived as a Jewish person and Kabbalist, without realizing it. I thought, something was wrong with me, but I finally know what "I" am, and what my purpose is, at the age of 42. Took long enough to perform personal "corrections" with better awareness. I also don't feel alone anymore, as we are one collective soul and G-d is always part of us.
Trying to remember the difference between Netzach and Hod is something I've always had trouble with, but your explanation of the two was very helpful. Thanks!
The left and right channels match perfectly with Iain McGilchrist's hemisphere hypothesis. Also, when you described the linear and partial penetration of God into the circle (making it a "broken mandala"), it resonated deeply with me in relation to Jung's realization of the Self after drawing a mandala that was broken as well (in 1917). This content is absolutely brilliant and brings out so many thoughts and ideas, thank you so much! 🙏
Zevi , this is the best talk I have heard on the SEFIROT. Simple , clear, practical and very inspiring. Prior to learning about the Kabbalah and the “language of roots and branches” I already had a very strong sense that language and symbols are metaphorical and describe things that are unseen by us. Even sensations can be metaphorical and my sense is that it is all contextual. So the same passage of text may have a different metaphorical meaning depending on the “state” of the reader. I have also found that purposefully trying to deduce meaning yields false information. It feel like when you try and decipher information you are taking Vs when your automatically receiving information. That being said, it also seems that the intention to understand at a deeper level causes more insights to be had. The most funny/frustrating things about this is that it’s impossible to talk about in a coherent way but I really enjoyed how clearly it was laid out in this video. The scary parts are when your reviving a lot of metaphorical information that’s indicates your on a wrong path or in a bad mental space. During these times it’s easy to spiral but conversely the inputs received while in a good space are amazing. Thanks for sharing your lessons!
This is wonderful, you deliver so well - I learned a lot here and enjoyed it too! The "tree of life" now makes much more sense to me, a humble neophyte. Thank you for making this :)
Zevi, daat is located towards the back of the head it is one of the mochin located in the brain. Daat elyon allows the connection of Chachmah and Binah .Daat tachton provides the influence of the mind to effect the emotions. Only in the partzuf of Arich Anpin does the moach(brain) of binah descend into the throat area.
while listening to your explanation this idea came to my mind (maybe it already exists but I'm not aware of it): sefirot are in a way extended version of the scheme offered by the biblical writer of the first account of the creation from the book of Genesis. The scheme 3+3+1 - two parallel columns which have an ending at the bottom: sabbat. Sabbat, the Bride, is Malkhut, immanence, which we can experience if we take "a rest" (trough meditation) also. First three days would be right column, "masculine", giving, expansive (God creates while separates: 1.dark from light, 2. upper waters from earthly waters,3. earth from sea, and adding grass); last three days would be "feminine" and restrictive (receiving), God decorates the space he/she has just prepared (with 4. sun, moon and stars 5. birds and fishes 6. every living thing that moves upon the Earth, and human: male and female on "His" image (which implies that God is male and female in One)... Keter, the crown, would be first created: Light
I love the level of detail in this video! I'm sure there are many other interpretations that might not agree with this one, but I think it still serves as a very good introduction. I learned a lot
Thank you again for your video. Very good explanation of a really complicated and much discussed topic. I think the mystics intended for other mystics on their level to read their work, hence easy to get very lost. On a different note you sort of sum up to me how a I imagined a modern Chasid (I read too many Baal Shem Tov stories and never met a chasid) but you really exclude such enthusiasm for the topic and I can’t stop watching. Great work and thanks you for all this I don’t care about the video quality I was listening to the content.
Thank you and thank you for the kind compliment. It means a lot to me. Thank you. Funnily enough I’m working on a video now on Chasidut/Hasidism, I hope the enthusiasm comes through.

Lovely work. I have been reading about Kabbalah from various sources for a while, I can say that I love reading Aryeh Kaplan's books, and I recommend them to other viewers. After all that reading and taking notes, this video really helped me internalize and engrave all of the knowledge into my brain. Thank you.
Wonderful lecture; gave a new angle for me, especially the bending of space-time with the paper. The connection with Da'at to Keter, reminds me of the rational thinker and the seeker; follower of messages. The rational stays at Da'at whilst the seeker enters Keter, then returns to Da'at to join the thinker once again. Take care, love from Yorkshire.
Kabbalah can be both enlightening and annoying. It is most often expressed in an overly cerebral way which l find alienating. It has followed me for years even in my dreams. I have taken in thses concepts but know they need to be grounded, made experiencial. That is why l was drawn here, and will continue to wrestle with it. One wag l read made the comment after a round with Kabbalah is "God is completed". By the way my experience of Daat is that it is active in the throat the doorway to time/space. All in all you do a wonderful job of clarifying what is, let's face it, Complicated. Thank you.
Just think this is so good. It would be so worth redoing ...renacting... in good light with good visuals in your usual wood lined 'studio' setting. From my tradition it felt like the centre was the dharma master...bringing out the best in the divine play of maya. Thank you so much for the expansion
Lovely explanation of The Tree Of Life, Thank you. P.S, You have such a beautiful, joyful face, that I cannot help but smile endlessly throughout your lectures. 😊
I am from a different (Christian) tradition with some differences: For instance, the coalescence occurred because God realized the place where he existed was slowly being consumed by time, and a system had to be devised to be consumed instead (us). Another, very similar idea, is: realizing a direct emanation failed and blew apart, he intentionally placed breaks in his creation (very important to know what these breaks are and how to use them). The idea of Kether -Mahlut is also very familiar to our system; as is the ideas of scale. However, many many differences. The lovey gushy stuff is somewhat meaningless and the particular petri dish we occupy has about run its' course. Good job, though, I enjoyed your presentation.
Teferit is what God did throygh Moshiach. Christians understand this. Ive been counting the omer about 4 or so years now. Ive painted the seferot. Im doing another as i listen. This is helping understand. Thank you.
There is a lott i know and think I understand, but still there are a lott of gaps in that knowledge, because there's always a deeper meaning behind that i know, so there is more to know of the same, and things i haven't learned yet! You fill such gaps for me thru these videos and made me a life long follower of your content! Again many thnx Sir!

Zevi, you are a gifted teacher. Thank you for sharing. I have watched this video several times, and a few questions continue to arise each time I do. Here is one: You mention that 10 is the perfect number for divine manifestation (and I believe it's Sefer Yetzirah from whence you say '9 is too few, 11 too many'). And you mention in the video that we will see why 10 is the right number. I have tried to find this answer personally, and I have inklings or suppositions, but I would love to hear your view. Why must it be 10?
Wait, before I lose my train of thought here- I noted that we’re talking about a negative theology when we discuss the great mystics within the Jewish tradition. I’m sure I’ll comment again as this is such a vast subject but thank you for that piece in particular.

On a different note you sort of sum up to me how a I imagined a modern Chasid (I read too many Baal Shem Tov stories and never met a chasid) but you really exclude such enthusiasm for the topic and I can’t stop watching. Great work and thanks you for all this
I don’t care about the video quality I was listening to the content.
Thank you and thank you for the kind compliment. It means a lot to me. Thank you. Funnily enough I’m working on a video now on Chasidut/Hasidism, I hope the enthusiasm comes through.
@@SeekersofUnity the enthusiasm always comes through! It makes me want to convert to Judaism and run off and join the Chasidim.
On a serious note people like you do wonders for helping to promote understanding of other faiths/ movements within faiths as well great Kabbalah lessons.
This video was a particularly excellent one and a gem. You are my favourite Kabbalah with a K teacher online.
Thank you kindly 🙏🏼 I’m really happy to hear that.
Thank you for dispelling ignorance and not fostering hate speech! ✨🕯️
Thank you Michele for joining us for the dispelling of ignoring and the spreading of love ❤️

I'm so excited about getting to learn about kabbalah and jewish mysticism with you Zevi, your explanation of what the 10 sefirot are was so clear and understandable, it blew my mind. You're a great teacher to say the least!

Lovely work. I have been reading about Kabbalah from various sources for a while, I can say that I love reading Aryeh Kaplan's books, and I recommend them to other viewers. After all that reading and taking notes, this video really helped me internalize and engrave all of the knowledge into my brain. Thank you.
Thank you friend. I’m glad it was helpful.
This has helped me make sense of my brain. I would like to see how it all relates to Torah
Thank you so much. So glad you found it insightful and thank you for sharing the beautiful thoughts that were triggered. Much love from Jerusalem.
Absolutely fabulous, just what I needed, thank you!

I'm deeply inside that - it corrresponds to the Kundalini Tree of Life!
Great share. I love hearing different points this view. All of which are awesome to inspire a deeper insight. Todah rabah

Very good presentation! You are a very charismatic presenter, very nice to listen to
Brilliant - thank you so much for this
Very beautifully explained. Thank you.
You’re most welcome. I hope it was helpful.
By the way my experience
of Daat is that it is active in the throat the doorway to time/space.
All in all you do a wonderful job of clarifying what is, let's face it, Complicated. Thank you.
Spellchecker " God is complicated". Or perhaps complete. Sweet!
Thank you Ruth and thank you for sharing that reflection on your wrestling with her.
Love this. Thank you!
You’re most welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks!

Thank God for this channel.

Just think this is so good.
It would be so worth redoing ...renacting... in good light with good visuals in your usual wood lined 'studio' setting.
From my tradition it felt like the centre was the dharma master...bringing out the best in the divine play of maya. Thank you so much for the expansion
You’re most welcome Ramya. Ya, i may have to refilm the his 😋 Thank you. I’m so glad it was expansive for you 🙏🏼

Lovely explanation of The Tree Of Life, Thank you.
P.S, You have such a beautiful, joyful face, that I cannot help but smile endlessly throughout your lectures. 😊
You’re most welcome friend. Thank you for that sweetest of compliments. I’m glad i could make you smile :)
This is a really fantastic lesson. Thank you
You’re most welcome. Thank you 🙏🏼
Teferit is what God did throygh Moshiach. Christians understand this. Ive been counting the omer about 4 or so years now. Ive painted the seferot. Im doing another as i listen. This is helping understand. Thank you.
Just found out. Thank you. Gave up on understanding from book. You gave it magic!!❤😊
You’re most welcome. I’m glad i could be of assistance. Thank you for coming to learn together with us. If you weren’t here it would be just that little less fun :)

Shalamalekhum my dear brother. I am a Muslim and a teacher of The Quraan.
Whatever you told is found in the aayat / verses of Quran.
Unfortunately we have been kept aart by people but now is the time for us to prove that we are one.
If you are interested in knowing about the text, Translation and Interpretation, I would be delighted to asis you
Remember in your prayers.
Muhammad Ali.
Hey, I'm really interested in knowing the 10 sefirot in the Qur'an, would be very kind of you.
Salamu Aleikum
A great poet once said “the crack, allows the light to come in” I wanna, thank you for all the light you’re letting in! Those boundaries between us are set to separate us - we are all coming from the same source of the living G-D. And it takes brave people like you, to make the crack bigger and allow more light in.
Al Salam Alaykom - Shalom aleychem

Excellent Class! Good Job!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Zevi, you are a gifted teacher. Thank you for sharing.
I have watched this video several times, and a few questions continue to arise each time I do. Here is one:
You mention that 10 is the perfect number for divine manifestation (and I believe it's Sefer Yetzirah from whence you say '9 is too few, 11 too many'). And you mention in the video that we will see why 10 is the right number.
I have tried to find this answer personally, and I have inklings or suppositions, but I would love to hear your view. Why must it be 10?
Thank you Scott. I appreciate you saying that and am glad you're enjoying the class.
I'd be curious to hear your suppositions.
Wait, before I lose my train of thought here- I noted that we’re talking about a negative theology when we discuss the great mystics within the Jewish tradition. I’m sure I’ll comment again as this is such a vast subject but thank you for that piece in particular.
Yes. Typically.
You’re most welcome.
Beautiful thank you it would be nice if you can work us through the process of learning process one goes
