I am a martial artist practicing last 30 years..This is the best way to achieve split.. Congratulations to you for that. ..
One important suggestion...As you have indicated the asanas in this video, it can be understood but can't be practiced along....It's better if you make a 20 of minute video where your buddy is doing the asanas, holding, resting in real time so that people can practice along ...
This will be very good for people and I will als recommend that in martial arts forums and federations..Thanks

its little hard if you are a beginner, have to pause the video in between and then put 2 min timer.
Then unlock ur phone lol and then play ur video, then start doing it and then put 2 min timer and so on 😛

I did it 30 days and each day it was becoming more more easy
Day 30 - I was pretty excited because last 29 days I didn't check whether split is working so after doing stretches I did the splits and my hand slipped and I don't feel any pain that's because I was able to do splits

My hips have opened a lot more. My side split is wider. I'm just doing two minutes per pose, Once a day. Week 3. Hips are more open. I haven't gotten my middle spilits yet. 30 days into this program. Unfortunately I have not achieved my middle spilits but I'm very happy with my progress. I do believe this routine will eventually bring me to middle spilits, I'm just not as flexible as others. @JeanGreyish 5 лет назад +721

I'm going to try and come back in a month to share my results! (update: this comment somehow turned into a novel but I hope it will prove useful to you!)
UPDATE second month: I was asked about my progress in comments, so here it is:
So far, I’ve been able to stretch a lot more but I’m still not able to do the split. So I began some specific exercises to strengthen my inner thighs muscles, and it helps a lot. As for the other exercises (lizard pose and so on) it’s become ridiculously easy, my head rests on the floor all the time and I barely feel the stretch now (not even in my knees). It’s great to feel so flexible and « bouncy » (thanks to legs muscles) everyday!
UPDATE third and fourth week: I'm all done with a month of exercise, and I have to say, this routine is a MUST. You won't be feeling stiff anymore afterwards! I I feel much more tonus and energy in my legs, but also in my whole body. As for the split, I'm not able to do it yet. Looking at my progress (adding the fact that I'm a 30-something male with little flexibility to start with), I'd say I need one or two extra month(s).
So my conclusion is: just go for it! The video is well made and the postures are relatively easy. It helps a lot if you're practicing a martial art (like me) or simply exercising on a regular basis. Use this stretching routine at the end of your seance for optimal results.
UPDATE second week: I gained a lot of flexibility! The poses are getting easier to do, except for the low lunge (I still can’t touch the ground with my arms) and the open split (but I’m getting there).
Highlights: my back has always been stiff as hell, but those exercises allow me to bend backward more easily. I never thought I could improve this! Legs muscles are more toned too. Since I practice martial arts at the same time, those poses are the best to stretch my whole body afterwards.
Tips: I use the mountain pose between each exercise, like they advise in the video. For those able to reach the ground with their feet like me, try stretching a little further by pushing on your arms. Highly energizing and good for the bloodstream too!
UPDATE first week: so I’ve done it everyday and I can already see some results. I’m much more flexible than before. The lizard pose is highly energizing! I can’t do the splits yet of course, but it’s encouraging.

      @JeanGreyish 5 лет назад +2

Nisa that’s how I do it. I don’t think doing only a few postures would help, you need to stretch all of your body. Usually I don’t take 2 minutes for the mountain pose, since it’s too hard on my bloodstream, but the rest is done the way they present it. Honestly, it’s REALLY helpful and my family is also starting to do it.

I took this video seriously a few years back. I was actually doing these stretches sometimes 2 or 3x a day. I have always had extremely tight hips and inner legs. Yo, doing this everyday, I had the splits in 3 weeks. And whats more, I am just more flexible in those areas now, even though I dont necessarily stretch everyday. Was sharing this vid with a friend also, so I thought i'd drop a line and say Thank you for a life changing content! 🤙🌺

I have already started my stretching exercises to achieve splits thru an app, nd i then checked this video out, these are more advanced level stretches/asanas, and when i did them i realized that I'm getting better. Despite being a skinny girl, i still couldn't move my body easily as i had zero physical activities in my daily routine, nd now that i have reached to a certain level, this gives me so much satisfaction, nd I'm always flaunting my progress to literally everyone at home, haha. It's a great stretching journey, even though it pains like anything while i try out new asanas/positions but that pain is so satisfying in itself, i can't tell.
If u r reading this, nd thinking of starting ur daily routine for stretching thing, then go ahead, u will see results very soon.

Update - It's been 14 days today since I'm doing these regularly. A lot of tension I felt in the first week. If you're not feeling any tension push yourself to feel that otherwise you won't get any result.
Result - A significant improvement in split. Though I can't do full still but I strongly believe after 15 days I'll be able to that.

Day 1: Felt nice, definitely couldn't stretch some places but I'll get there, I did everything for at least 30 seconds rather than 2 min... I would rather inch my way up to that point.
Day 2: This time I did everything for 1 minute each, it felt super good exercising and then doing this stretch but I definitely felt a stretch for some of them, it felt much more relaxing since this time I didn't rush it as fast. I'm thinking about doing this stretch routine again today if I exercise again (which I probably will) so I'll update then if I do :) Today is July 7th 7:52 AM (I might as well record the time :P).
Also Day 2: SO! I did it again everything (for at least a 1 minute) after my exercises. It felt really good, I think even on the 2nd day it's really starting to help! Even though I still feel the stretch I did feel like I could go farther it's really nice to stretch even though I have to make myself do it. Btw right now is 10:13 Pm In the British Summer Time Zone.
Day 3: Alrightyy it is finished xD I did the stretch routine (still 1 minute each exercise, leg etc.) twice today (because I exercised twice today and wanted to stretch each time). I might try doing 2 minutes tomorrow (Well, let's not talk about the downward dog stretch that's freaking hard lol) but yeeeeaaaaaa. I didn't type this down till later because I did it once early morning and now in the evening. I felt like I could go just a tiny bit farther for the butterfly stretch today too! I think I might start to get somewhere very soon :)
Day 4: NGL I felt so tired and sick today, I skimmed through everything but tomorrow I'm hoping I'll find more energy to complete everything thoroughly... I'm not sure if I am going to do this again today but I'll update again if I push through it another time today ;)
Day 5: I could put my elbows on the ground today! I did everything this evening for 1-1:30 seconds. I've decided to only do this once a day.
    Day 6 & 7: Rest Day (weekend)
Day 8: I did it! This time I did everything for 1-2 minutes (mostly 2 minutes). No joke I never thought stretching would be so hard lmao. Also, I just thought I should mention that I literally almost have the splits!! I'm like 7/10 of the way there on day 8, I think I will gain full splits by the end of this... I'm so happy rn its paid off so far really nicely :D (Date 7/13/20)
Day 9: I skimmed through it today, I'm really feeling unwell...Better something then nothing mentality, am I right! I know it gets really hard a lot of the time but push through it and you will be successful. A little goes a long way, sometimes it be like that ;)
Day 10: I did it today yayyyy! It was harder today for me, so I did everything for a minute rather than two, def better than doing nothing... I am trying to stay optimistic, but tbh sometimes it's hard and I especially am feeling that now, if you're doing this or something else you can do it! A little goes a long way after all. Stay strong peeps lol
    Day 11 & 12: Weekend Break!
Day 13: Finished! Even tho it's hard, I feel I can stretch further more comfortably :D
Day 14: Wow, I cant believe I hit two weeks! I'm starting to notice a big difference too!! Also btw this is for July 21st but I couldnt update till today (July 22)
Day 15: Pulled a leg muscle a couple days ago and its bothering me today more than usual, took a break today ;)
Day 16 & 17: Did a couple of the stretches, but not all of them...I am slowly inching my way back up to doing all stretches with my leg and whatnot even though technically the weekends is supposed to be for resting.
Day 18: Did every stretch for 2 minutes except for 1...I am so close to being a normal again! (In terms of my right leg bothering me)
Day 19: Done! Sorry i didn't update for the past two days! I did it quickly on day 19 but decided to take a rest day on day 20!
    Day 20: Rest Day
Day 21: Today is July 30th (Thursday) I stretched 1 minute per excercise! Was very relaxing/nice.
Day 22 (July 31st): Done! I feel like I can go further for all of the stretches which was one of my main goals. Yay 🤘

I KNOW THREE DAYS IS A LOT BUT I NEED A COUPLE DAY BREAK SOMETIMES
Day 29:Did half of the video today! I am busy on top of the fact that I want to get myself back on track of doing full stretch tomorrow, I am going to make up all missed days in the past week and possibly more.

    Day 34 (8/12/20)(Last Day w/ update): ✅
Sooo I guess this is/was (I'm updating a day later) the last day! Wow cant believe its been 30 days! Anyways, I do see results!!! I can nearly do my right splits. My left side is starting to get better but is not as close to the ground as my right side but much, much closer than before. That being said my mid split has the least progress but is also much closer to the ground (I want to say half a foot or more I should have taken before and after photos but didnt so I have to guess :P ). Overall, I do feel and see a big improvement! I think I will continue to do the stretches so I'll keep updating! I am going to do more breaks though since the challenge part of over but hey, cant hurt to record my splits journey-continuation.
Wish you progress if you decide to do this! It really does work! 👍
35,36,37,38,39,40: 🛑 BREAK WEEK (i am celebrating lol)
41 (8/19/2): Decided to do all stretches for 1-2 minutes instead of taking my last (7th day) celebration rest day (Also heads up if I am taking more breaks then the first 30 days, I am going to try my best to keep updating and doing these split excercises to maintain my flexibility and gain full splits in every angle one day but because the challenge set of the day is over I am going to be a little more lenient sometimes :)
    42:
Because I haven't updated for a couple of days (the ones when i did or didn't do the stretches) i tried my best to remember no lies bc I try 😁
9/24/20 ✅: OK, so I haven't had a schedule but have done the stretches here or there throughout the days/weeks. I'm going to start up again and try to do every other day starting now :) (I did 1 minute for all excercises)
9/25/20- 10/10/20 (today is October 10th but I might have to extend the "rest" days past today):
    🛑Rest Daysss
    (more like work days oof😂)
UPDATE: As much as I would have liked to continue this routine I cant. I got a puppy in october (a husky who is super cute but CRAZY) with school among other things and I cant do this alongside juggling everything else and expect accurate commited results! Thankyou for being apart of my journey, who knows I might start it up again one day 🤷‍♀️😊 wish you luck on yours😝
I will try my best to update every day, if I don't I'll try asap.

I agree with you. Side split is not that easy. These poses are not enough to bring us to complete side split. Some very flexible people can reach it. I am flexible but not enough to do it, not even close 😥

UPDATED for first week: I have definitely gained a lot of flexibility! The poses are useful. I felt a lot of stretch while I was doing the pigeon and low lunge pose.
However, after I did a few research. I'm sadly to say that I will stop doing several poses since several of it is considered a higher level of poses which is hard to balance and easy to use the wrong muscles which is very dangerous if you push too hard. I will do some tree pose and some beginner pose. Maybe the result is not as great as this video said. But....hopefully I will able to split in the end. I will also stop updating, sorry for those people maybe looking forward to my result. Reminder: Be sure to keep calm and relax when stretching. Stretch poses step by step. Don't over push it and never give up:)

    • @noonkho4116

It’s not advanced, but poses like pigeon pose or low lunge pose are considered more easier to get hurt and misusing leg muscles which is not needed, I prefer safety first
