Germany? Aren't they good at... building Wonders? My wish list for this game: - University of Sankore - Venetian Arsenal - University of Sankore - Venetian University of Arsenal-Sankore Built in that particular order, you will instantly win the game. Or something like that. ;)
While Ryan's talking intro, I was eying that juicy +4 campus on the cow all the time. And it turned out that UC does away with the usual adjacencies. Coddammit.
Urban Complexity is a fantastic mod, especially for long-time players who want a bit more spice in their games after playing it for hundreds if not thousands of hours. I honestly think the devs should take notes from this mod for designing Civ VII.
I first watched potatomcwhiskey play the urban complexity mod, tried it myself and my goodness is it difficult to wrap your head around. Although it is very fun
As a long follower of this channel I’m very proud of you Ryan, I’m happy the Civ community it finally starting to watch your videos there’s too good. Keep up the great work you know we got you
21:43 "They [Scotland] like that we're keeping peace with our neighbours." When Robart the Bruce is your only neighbour, this implies that they like that you haven't declared war on them, which is a case of "well, duh."
I really appreciate Community Colleges being much further down the Tech Tree than Universities. Of course Community Colleges are more Technologically advanced than Universities!
*So glad you are playing UC! Love playing with this! So many choices it is great, but towards the end game by PC gets a little slow lol, Hope you play with these mods more often* 💪👍
I really like the game modes that make trading more reliable and UC if definitely one of them. good luck remembering to turn all the mods off though ursa, I always manage to miss a couple when going vanilla :D
Discovered UC mod a while back; I now play with it almost exclusively. The added granularity to empire development is allows for higher degree of flexibility.
Neuchwanstein Castle says "Any city..." at the beginning. I wonder if that means "any city controlled by the building player" or "any city on the map", as the thought of a globe-affecting wonder sounds rather intriguing.
Every time I hear the name Willhelm, I think of the scream they use in movies, and visa versa.11:50, germans like a good mountain town, go Neuschwanstein!
Okay, so as a German, I just wanna say that Neuschwanstein... kinda overrated, not gonna lie (irl, not in game. In civ, it's great fun). It's like the Mona Lisa. It's nice, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't quite live up to all the hype, and with all that notoriety means a bunch of tourists. If you are in that area, just visit Hohenschwangau instead. It's 500 metres away, about the same pretty, you won't be nearly as crowded, and the entrance fee will be like a third of what it is at Neuschwanstein.
@@UrsaRyan rules would have to be - no religious or diplomatic victory… just to make it that much harder. Would have to wait for solar farms or city states for electricity!! 😍😂
when you already go to germany to see Neuschwanstein go see Schloss Herrenchiemsee as well. Same guy who build it, same epicness, different location. definetly worth it
My one complain with UC is that is just too strong. Namely the wharfs and lighthouses in the city center. You get your cake and you eat it too. Looking forward to see how you navigate this!

Twice university of Sankore?
I'd like to add:
- Arsenal of Venice
- Sankorean University
@@randomguy-oy5pf Best wonder in the game. Better to build it twice ;)
@@Shaonia added to the next wish list ;)
Don't forget Petra University of Sankore.
an 8 minute game explain is actually really impressive
Haha - it could have been much longer but we editted it down a lot!!!
£158 - Before Willhelm I was Prince Regent, he was the governor of the University of Sankore.
whats the deal with the 158 pounds?
@@Jawsh5 That's the 159th Sankore comment. I don't know why he chose £ instead of #
@@quamtum5619 Using "# number" causes the comment to get autoflagged as potential spam. So I changed it to "£ number".

I know, I had to unlearn so much of what was going on!!!
Super hyped your modded games are always top tier!!
It's such ana amzing set of mods, I loved playing it!

There are some amazing additions with this mod, I totally agree!
@@UrsaRyan It absolutely adds some needed variety rather than building the same buildings almost every time. I just cannot play without it anymore

I'm watching my PC heat up with startled interest as I play
This is how I always play CIV, so it's fun to watch you play it.

mod management takes me much longer than I would like to admit!

Always love the modded videos. I've seen Potato play with this last year, but i don't think he did more than just one or two livestreams.
Fingers crossed the run goes well!
I mustache you a question about them chops! I love the leaders look!
A strong set of chops huh - I'm envious
Dundee! You have to get it to be the true master of the universe!

Good to know Lyla - I imagine off season would help as well, if comparrisons to UK landmarks are fair?
@@UrsaRyan Oh yeah, for sure. During the summer is when they have the most tourists obviously, since a lot of them travel internationally.
Sooo goooood video!!
Cheers = )
UC is so much fun :O
I'm very rapidly coming around to that train of thinking!
Super fun game! Learned a lot
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love your content 0012
I think the best mod is that you can chose between buildings
I love that feature alone! It's very cool - plus it adds a few cool buildings mid game to fill out an otherwise slow area
heres an insta like because every video is very entertaining
Nice, will have to check it out!
Love the vids!
cheers = )
Would love to see you take on a no strategic resource challenge. Can’t improve any, any you yet have to be sold off etc.
that would be fun - anti-cav rush!

(33:40) If you conquered and razed Dundee, do you suppose Scotland would send another settler to refound it and for you to steal?
yes most likely! but don't worry, we're not done with Scotland yet
thanks!
No, thank you!
Imma hit that bell…
Use a mallet or hammer, most bells are made of metal
Maybe if I can manage Deity during my quest to win with every leader, then I will try urban complexity.
I would honestly try it! Even on small maps, it's a great mod = )
Do students of the University of Sankore like piñatas?
🪅
Five-turn trade routes?!?!
IKR XD
I have civ 6 on epic and not steam. Can I still download this mod?
yeah just use a steam downloader and move the folder to your mod folder on epic
People on discord should be able to help you!

It feels very strong, totally agree, but that can only be fun!
How on Earth do Civ mod writers get the AI to deal with all of their changes on this level?
That's the best bit - the Ai doesn't deal with Civ 6 in the first place!

hold up is this modded germany leader the opposite of normal germany. as in city states shouldnt be killed this time
