He. FO codes the clothes so the brown slacks mean that he was a pre-war male. Davidson had the tables turned on him and he seemingly died instead of Sharon which is why she's missing as she is on the lam from a possible murder rap.
To be honest a lot of companies/devs are like that. In the 8 to 128 bit era, people were unlocking omitted/cut content with game genies, game sharks, etc.
@@jaye1967 Compare Skyrim to Oblivion, then compare Oblivion to Morrowind The games have made a decline in depth, storytelling & complexity to appeal to a glue sniffing audience lol
I might be over analyzing a game, because i didn't sleep yet and i should, but the first entry was 13th of October, telling us the "plan", 19th giving us the info that Sharon disappeared couple days ago. The bombs fell ~4 days after last note. There is no way that the corpse would not smell after a week. Ha! Got ya, Bethesda.
Not necessarily true... From a lot of past stuff like that, the pen would've been in the throat/spine of it. And when you walked passed it, your game would crash, you'd die, and then the skeleton would explode.
I know the main quest wasn't that great, and even some of the factions main quests aren't that great, but you can't deny that do come up with some good side quests or hidden quests, or hidden notes/emails with stuff to go find. Bethesda knows what their doing, but that doesn't mean they are perfect at it. I don't think anyone would be able to make a perfect Fallout game for everybody, but Bethesda has gave us some damn good ones to me.
F4 was the best! the terminal notes were great. terrific writing and mini story telling for dumb little things in the background. now were stuck with starfield.
@@matty101yttam Possibly, but no one mentions the boss being gone, IIRC. A guy like that would definitely be missed, when someone notices the huge sigh of relief that he isn't in again for the fifth day straight.
Yet bethesda don't know how to write stories except surface stories. Sim settlements is what the minuteman should have been. Same for the institute in fact. You're the general or director and yet you do radiant quests instead of managing things. And yes, I knew for the corpse. These details are the things that make a world bigger than the MC. That's why I love CP2077, you're nothing in the end, because nothing will change in the end.
I guess you never found the treasure of 238 old money pot then. Old money, with full charisma, is worth 6 caps each at vendors. Imagine 238x6. A nice little treasure trove every in game week. Yes, this treasure respawns every ingame week or 7 days.
I wonder what percentage of players know about the secret set of rooms in the Museum of Freedom? Or of the secret room on the roof of Diamond City stadium? Or of the secret hollowed out rock full of loot? (not unlike a similar one in FO3). And also know about the different messages inside 6 bottles?

Adds tons of detail that nobody ever noticed instead of fixing bugs.

The Skyrim/Fallout 4 era really was peak Bethesda, before the, "Let's see what we can omit from our games and get away with" era.
Yeah... ask anyone born before 9/11 & they'll say the Oblivion era was peak bethesda

Oh Thanks now I’ll be spending all my spare time re-reading every terminal. Nice find .
Too bad that's a male skeleton so....
All skeletons in Fo4 are male by default

Nice find! 🙂
That's mental. To find it out!
If that was Sharon, the pen would be by her neck, rather than the hand. That is more likely the boss, or someone unrelated to the notes.
That's what i believe, sharons last name was "wick", boss started something and sharon finished it.

9 years playing and never noticed the pen.

Bethesda: Where the environmental artists tell better stories than the writers.
Honestly I would love to have a fallout game with Bethesda’s environmental storytelling and they outsource the writing
Good catch but I don't dig that far into the game.
