Joe is very clever and he's on top of his game. He has a lot of insight about how the Music Industry works. It really is true that most bands who can really sing or play or just straight up self conscious hide behind beautiful girls dancing or gimmicks.
I loved the interview. Unfortunate that they chose to bury the interviewees' voices behind loud music and those silly videos. I really wanted to hear Joe and Ritchie chat. It was a good interview once we got to hear it. Not your fault, rather the foolish people who produced the original interview in the first place. You know? But when that extraneous noise went away? Brilliant interview. Or...interviews.
Haha, interview JLT and play Gillan in the background, how insulting. I'm not anti Gillan, but you wouldn't interview him and play Coverdale over the interview. Suggests that the programmes maker's haven't a clue. Oh, that's a DP song just run with that...apart from that great interview. Thanks for upload 😁🤘🏻
Turner has a terrific voice , he always add something to every band he join, BTW turner along with yngwie malmsteen both made the best album in my view which is rising force .
Richie's body language here is keeping a distance from Joe to say that there is no gay stuff going on here so don't start making rumors that we're gay. Joe's like teasing his hair.
@@serkanyilmazkurt6375 Yngwie wanted to be like Blackmore, yes. Which did more harm than good. Now he's a joke. A one man karaoke band playing small clubs and playing the same licks over and over. Unless he drops his ego and hires a REAL singer and real musicans to help him write and perform better material he will eventually fade into obscurity. He's already tainted his own legacy. He last few albums are horrible. A shadow of his former self. It may be too late for him.
I like to see Joe Lynn have a Cat Fight with a girl. I would laugh at that till I couldn't and piss in my pants. I like Joe but at the same time he looks like he is really feminine.
@@incarnate6779 There's an interview with Ritchie and Roger Glover, where he says something to the effect of "... sometimes guys get scared of when I tell them to drop their trousers. There's nothing homosexual about it, that's just what you do..." I'll see if I can find the clip. Here it is, about one minute in: ruclips.net/video/tPgkZy2y9Xo/видео.html
@@Tunkkis lol, that was great! Thanks for sharing. Blackmore had such a dry, off the wall humor that many people couldn't tell if he was serious or not. I still crack up at this old photo (around '81 or '82) where backstage drummer (at the time) Bobby Rondinelli was helping Blackmore with putting on women's stockings, haha.
I find him incredibly manly. That feminine idea probly comes from him spending time with mostly female relatives perhaps. To me he is very masculine but I can tell he'd get on well in a female group.
That's quite telling isn't it?When he is sitting on his own, he is the same position as he was when sitting next to JLT, and when he sits down he places his arm across the back of the sofa, behind Joe, so he can't be too insecure can he, Joe Angel? You are projecting like fuck aren't you.
Wow only seen the edited stuff on heavy metal pioneers ,well done many thanks.

Thank god he's a singer he doesn't even know what the World Cup is lmao

One of the rarest interviews where blackers didn't bullshit the journalist...it might have been someone special
Oh, yes 5:23 )))

You are so right🤘🏻
Great Video
Blackmore kinda looks like Charlie Sheen with a wig on in this vid.

Yes that's exactly true
How many Asian school girls did it take to make all that hair?
Blackmore never sticks with anybody even how good u are.He likes changes to avoid boring.Nobody can copy Blackmore.0
Yngwie did

Why does Joe Lynn kind of remind me of Jim Brewer?
Similar mannerisms, similar voice, much better looking
Spinal Tap quote!!!!!!!
Joe Lynn Turner? Did he sing for Molly Hatchet?
No LOL
What on EARTH was Blackers doing hiring this effete cocktail lounge wally?
I couldnt have put it better my friend - I have never seen or heard such a clown as JLT ( poncy image and very average singer )
He needed someone to be his bitch and JLT is a good bitch LOL
Stupid loud music drowned out the people talking. What is wrong with you?
That music vid at the start must be the worst DP song ever
3:34 WTF
Unlimited nachos !

That's how rock and metal tended to be in the late 70s and 80s.

Both men not in purple . One after the other
That's not Deep Purple anymore.
No Ritchie = No Deep Purple. Period.
Complete fannybasket!
Gillan forever!

two wigs!
Joe is annoying.. slave and masters was a good album but not Deep Purple
It was the album that most likely would've followed Rainbow's Bent out of Shape had Blackmore not reunited with Purple.
@@incarnate6779 maybe. It was Joes best that’s for sure.
