    Excellent. Joel, when I said get on a course or something.You have skipped that and gone straight to a master. I bet you are taking it in just like a sponge. What a day you must have had. Keep them videos coming. Cheers.

      Haha it seems that I have! I actually didn't expect this when I went over there, but turned out great! Trying my best to absorb all of it, but there was a lot there so the videos will help me as well. It was a great day. Will do! - Joel

    I use 2 bulb fluorescent light fixture mounted vertically on a wall in front of my anvil and eliminating as much light behind me works well for checking flatness both when the saws laying on the anvil or checking plumb but I hammer mostly circular plates

    Very good video on saw straightening. However I do not see any straitening or tensioning as indicated in the title.

    What is the name of the professional? I don't agree with taking a torch to the saw or how he took out the set. Spend the money and learn the old way and IMO the proper way to tune a saw. Go to 9 mile in Montana and take the class Arden teaches.
