As you can tell this was recorded before the Steelers announced the hiring of Arthur Smith. How do you feel about the hire?
It seems to be a good hire looking at his resume. I know a lot of people are going to look at the last few years in Atlanta, but you cannot dismiss the impact he made in Tennessee. I don’t think he was ready to be a head coach when he took the ATL job. Being a head coach and being a coordinator are different. He gets back to what he is good at with this coordinator position.
He may not ever be ready to be a head coach!!
I am one of your viewers who has witnessed all 6 Super Bowls. I was 13 when they won the first one.
Time will tell. But this better be a good fit or several people will look bad.

For what kind of roster the Steelers have ill grade it a B+. I'm curious to know if he can elevate Kenny the way he helped Ryan T game? It's not a awful hire at all yes it has its cons but also has it pros. I can see him utilizing George Pickens the way he used A.J. Brown. The Titans had a top 5 offense with him at the helm. He really never had a defense. Coached an offense to the AFC championship game. Of course he had King Henry. The Steelers have a nice 1-2 punch at RB. Hopefully his style of play calling can give our defense rest so that we can stay HEALTHY. Fans may not like the hire but some coaches can't handle being the Head Coach that doesn't mean he can't be a successful OC because he had a bad stint in the ATL. He can fully focus on the offense. I'm glad the hire came during the senior bowl.
Dude kenny isn’t winning no Super Bowl he barely could get canadas offense that was so basic he didn’t even bother to try to make it look like he’s not the problem. Film don’t lie.

We want another dynasty steelers team. Just one more superbowl is not enough after seeing what the Patriots have done over the last 20 years. I guess its KC's turn for their dynasty era, but thats what steelers fans want for the steelers

I am sending prayers to your dad and for your son to stay healthy . I hope Arthur can help turn this offense around. I do believe the Steelers need to have qn open QB competition this off season. But I also believe it is time for Art to step aside and let the children takeover. Plus I believe after this season Tomlin abd the team needs to part ways. He has been the HC for 17 plus years and fir the last 10 plus years the team has had no post season success. It is just time for a change. Tomlin needs a new challenge and the team needs a new voice and leader. It is just time to turn the page and move forward.

@@kjahmbanso emotion yes, a local boy taken out of desperation. If the Steelers wouldn't have drafted him at all, I dont think any team would have drafted him based on one good year at Pitt (pandemic year) but the steelers are going to shove Kenny's garbage down our throats again next season until the fans demand he be benched.
@@thomasisrael673 yea the kenny fan club probably won’t let it go this is why the Steelers are in the middle of the pack. Bad future picks can lead to future consequences
@@kjahmbanso The Kenny fan club is shrinking. But all of these podcasts suggests kenny will be the number 1 QB going into next season. As if we haven't seen ENOUGH of his trash on the field. Kenny has played about double the games Mason Rudolph has played, yet they all say Kenny needs more of a chance to prove himself. Well, I think most of the fan base has seen enough to determine what kind of quarterback he is. Rooney made a mistake drafting him and he's going to continue his mistake next season. It bothers me because it greatly effects the entire team but it seems like it's ALL ABOUT KENNY. lol screw the rest of the team.

So Im just super meh now about the whole thing....Going to check out Sims live show for his thoughts...but after that, my time thinking about the steelers is going to be cut down big time.
Its maddening to think they couldn't get at least one of zac robinson or kubiak into the building for an interview. I just dont think this guy is going to move the needle that much in terms of fixing the area we need to modernize the most to win SBs which is their passing concepts.
Its fine to want to be a run first team....but we are not ground pounding our way to a SB with a bare bones passing scheme. Its a total waste of time to deny that fact and not understand how far behind they are in that area.
This is not accurate. When he was with the Titans and Derrick Henry. He revived Ryan Tanahill's career until he left. He did help Ryan get a $100M contract. He can probably just focus on the offense. Instead of the team as a whole. To be fair. Those other candidates didn't really prove anything.

Chiefs eagles chargers jets defense with a arod back plus the cowboys with a healthy defense would wax the Steelers with kenny leading the charge and I got the ravens winning a game over us and the browns plus the bungles with joe burrow yea man this isn’t 10-7 with kenny at the helms
