      The entire operation was doomed before it started. The participants were played for fools in a cult of personality. Trump is no more a protector of the little guy and American values than Hillary Clinton is.
      Look at both characters and see they're about protecting the establishment and their own little empires.
      Following that is how people ended up storming the Capitol, taking selfies, and now sitting in jail.

      @jackgillies5638 3 года назад +2

      @@guesswho6014 True - and has been true for the vast majority of politicians/leaders in history.
      Very few really serve the people above themselves (or their party). Such is the flaw in human nature - and the paradox of humanity: We are ultimately selfish beasts but our survival relies on co-operation with each other.
      I see this paradox playing out everyday in the struggle between Right-wing 'Libertarianism' and left-wing 'Collectivism' - it is inside us all and plays out through whole populations.
      Trump's 2016 election victory was born of the dissatisfaction in the selfish political class - The irony being that Trump is more self-serving that almost any political figure in living memory.
      The storming of the Capitol however, was a much more direct result of brainwashing and direction from Trump and his goons - who perpetuated a lie about election fraud from before even the 2016 election.
      The mob (who did more than just take selfies) weren't there on that day by accident, they were there to overturn a free and fair election at the request of their leader - and I quote - to 'Stop the steal'.

    I paraphrase a great comment I heard the other day: “America is and has always been an idea of freedom and opportunity, it was never created as a race.
    That’s why so many people look to become American citizens.”
    Those who wrote the Declaration of Independence knew they wanted to escape religious tyranny, a caste system built on heredity and a chance for economic growth regardless of their background.
    But now the same small-minded people the originators fought against and died to escape from are now trying, once again to enforce a national religion, create a caste system based on heredity of white men only, and limit economic growth and opportunity to just a handful of people. A system AGAINST the very fools fighting in the insurrection.
    Trump and his cronies,and those like him in our military, our court systems, many business owners, government services like Congress are all stuffing their fat chops while those insurrection idiots, like dogs, are groveling but NOT to eating the crumbs but instead eating the vomit from grotesquely and obese men.
    It’s a reason they are called FILTHY rich.

    Hitler began while imprisoned for what he considered to be "political crimes" following his failed Putsch in Munich in November 1923 and a trial in February 1924 for high treason, in which he received the very light sentence of five years. Although he received many visitors initially, he soon devoted himself entirely to the book. As he continued, he realized that it would have to be a two-volume work, with the first volume scheduled for release in early 1925. The governor of Landsberg noted at the time that "he [Hitler] hopes the book will run into many editions, thus enabling him to fulfill his financial obligations and to defray the expenses incurred at the time of his trial."

Nancy denied the request buy the the capital police chief to have natl guard troops there on the 6th. The request by the Sargent at arms also was in favor of the idea. Then the day of when the call went in for troop back up it took over 2 hours for the request to get to the guard. And just days after both the Sargent at arms and the police chief resign an one of the cops commits suicide. Out of guilt or made to look like a suicide and the other cop who we are told died from injuries suffered that day might also been quieted because they might tell how it was planned to let it happen. It is exactly what the democrats wanted to happen,. Like they wouldn't do it, they tried everything else to get rid of Trump. Why not let Trump and Q followers incriminate and vilify themselves.
