Thanks for the love. I enjoy making the experiments, they intrigue me as the stories can be brilliant. Just a natural narrative presents itself. Any ideas for future experiments I'm all ears 👍
@@jayhuahua HAHA, I'm learning from your ones atm, you've gave me some top ideas. one I'd like to see you do is, 1 Club has a max attendance so they sell out every game and have a huge following Vs a club in the same division with normal fan base but has a sugar daddy or starts with huge amount of money.
I'm English living in Denmark. Bit distracted by the start 😂 sorry for the wall of text. Kolding is a place, pronounced like "Colding", and idræts-forening means "sports-union". My local clubs are AAB and Hobro IK, sadly it's a bit of a farm league for Copenhagen (København). All those free transfers! The vowels in Danish (æ + å + ø) are actually quite easy for English speakers, we use them all the time in words like "train" & "all" respectively. Ø is harder mainly because it encapsulates three vowel sounds (not hard individually) so you just have to know the way the word is pronounced ahead of time. The "r" (rolled) and "d" (glottal stop) in Danish are much harder haha Its hard to describe how to pronounce via text but here goes Idrætsforening is like "id-raytes-for-eh-ning" but the "r" sounds are from the throat like you're spitting 😂 Æ used to be a letter in English until really recently, like 100 years ago, used in words like encyclopædia and dæmon.
I can't extend my appreciation enough for the lengthy attempt to educate my uncultured liguistic tongue. I thank you, and I hope you enjoyed the video as Denmark were the lucky nationality chosen today 👍
Fifa has a rule for all nations that foreign players cannot join another Fifa affiliated club for a transfer fee until they are 18. So if a team can offer a player a contract before they turn professional they can sign players.
@@blobfishking941 The rule doesn't care if the transfer includes a fee or not. Players can not transfer to a club in a different country unless one of the following applies: -The player lives close to the border and the new club is close to the border on the other site -The player´s parents move to a different country for reasons not related to football -The player is over the age of 16 and transfers within the EU -The player has lived in the new clubs country for 5 years before the transfer The last one is not actually meant for transfers, but to allow children to play even if they are not citizens of the country they live in.
great vid jay! would love to see some staff-centric experiment videos. for example, give one club full perfect backroom staff and give another full perfect coaching and see how that effects them. keep up the good work!
Thanks bud, yes... staff is on the horizon but unfortunately the creating and adding of staff is much harder, this is before contracts and getting them to stay. Because small teams have small staff as they get bigger they get more so yeah. Working out logistics. Many hours already sunk into researching so far, so when I nail it, the video better do great 🤣
Pronounciation for Kolding Idrætsforening was vert impressive. Kolding (In Danish, but pronounced Colding in English) is pronounced as Colding, but without pronouncing the d. The O in Kolding is pronounced like the O in honest. Idrætsforening is tricky. I is pronounced like ee i english. R sound doenst have an equivalent in english unfortunately, so I´ll just give up on that. The æ is an A and an E combined and is really just pronounced as you probably think. Your attempt was pretty much spot on. The word "Forening" is a bit different compared to english because the word is split like this For-ening where in english it would probably be Fore-ning. To make it all more difficult the "e" in forening is pronounced like the "ei" in "foreign". In conclusion, Danish is a complicated language and as a Dane I would heavily advise against learning it if you prefer keeping your sanity. And all Danes speak English fluently anyway so it doesnt really matter. The pronounciation would be: "O" in Kolding like the "o" in "honest. "e" in forening as the "e" in "foreign. Coling eedrætsfor-ening. Have fun :D
Not the first to go in depth, I'm bowled over by the time you and others are taking to comment regarding pronunciation. The algorithm will be pleased. 🤣 appreciate the comment and assistance 👍🫡
20-40 CA is very low, I doubt they'd reach their potential, unless the players got moves to teams with better staff and facilities maybe, but I don't know.
@@jayhuahua I understand now why you always start experimenting with CA 90, what do you think about buying young players? so if you play career mode without the In game editor, will you choose players with CA 90 and PA 150 or CA 70 and PA 150? according to your experience which one will reach potential faster
Well... this is an experiment coming soon. But yes I play without the in game editor. In reality there are lits of factors, club, staff, facilities, player personality and game time
A good idea, but to lock them at a team i need to enforce a future transfer which takes half the randomness away... but a decent suggestion. Maybe in a future test 👍
@@jayhuahua what I do is set the future transfer to a crap team from the league they started. So eg. They start at Salford in league 2 and set the transfer for 5/7 years, set the transfer team to say Crewe on a 2 year contract then let the game do it's thing. Bigger clubs will notice them and buy them straight away. It allows the young players to grow before moving on.
Brilliant vid mate, all the experiment videos are ace, ones like this, I love! Looking forward to more to come!

Danish youngstars cant play senior football before they turn 16 y
Ahhh fair. They turned 16 at the start anyway. They start at 15 but become 16 at the start of July

I would like to say the Æ is like the Ä, but that also doesn't exist in English. I think its most similar to the A in "lantern".
I do love the bits of the videos people jump on to assist. Within an hour I've have knowledge of transfer policies and pronunciation. Appreciate it 👍😎
In Denmark under 16 players aren't allowed to play in any games, that's why none of them played in the first season.
Makes sense, I thought I put them at 15, turning 16 straight away but I had them at 14 instead. Thanks for commenting 👍

Interesting. He must have got citizenship from moving to PSG at a young age. Great spot, I can't believe I missed this
Are you interested in doing this experiment on FM 24? And do you have a discord group to discuss FM?
Yes, I definitely am as quite a few people have requested this style of vid. And no, I do not have a discord. Too much admin for my tiny brain 🤣

how did Denmark do internationally?
I covered it, they won a couple of world cups and a couple of euros if memory serves me correctly
Did any of the players win baloon d or ?
Which one is the ballon d'or? I checked at the end some individual trophies 🏆 but yes many did so I expect if I missed Ballon d'or they will have done
