Enjoyed this one. They actually did better than I expected them to. It clearly hampered them, but the majority of them reached a level of CA where the team were still successful
Yes... I've said in response to different comments my biggest regret here is not imposing a transfer embargo, as I believe other players came in and allowed the hatred to be watered down. Still, very interesting frlm my part and I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
0:48 I don't want to add salt to injury but you could have done that for one of them and copy paste it to the others. Just remove their own name each time(It is funny how you can have people hate themselves lol) I don't know how it is done in the in game editor but in the pregame editor you can do it by selecting the people you want to copy paste(at least two).
@@jayhuahua Lol, we have all been there. At least now you know for future experiments. Could you try a similar one but with two teams that each player hate everyone from the other team? Perhaps also with a 20 out of 20 aggression for the players. I wonder if both teams will do well or they will kill each other during each game between them.
Just finished watching, Jay. Thank you again for making this video. I have never seen a squad dynamics experiment. I really wanted to know if a team that should dominate would be destroyed by squad dynamics. (Especially with Lollujo, describing FM as morale manager.) I'm really surprised that there wasn't a much higher turnover of managers for constantly losing the dressing room.
I think the ability and promotions pushed them on their ability in lower leagues overshadowed the bad dynamics. Then when they get to the prem, they'd climbed so high so quickly that a few bad seasons and bavkwards steps was understandable I guess. My one regret is not putting a transfer embargo on them, so they couldn't bring outside players in who could improve dynamics
Enjoyed this! I'd be interested to see what had the bigger impact beteeen teamwork and relationship. Although teamwork will have improved significantly so more likely to be the relationships. Don't know if you've done this but how about a "wonder kid" manager test. Create a young manager with perfect potential and personality. See where he goes and how it pans out.
I haven't yet and I have tried... annoyingly they just retire super early. I've tried a few things and have other ideas to make it work. Will have one at some point though 👍
I always wanted to see what a team of the most volatile players would be like. Players with high aggression, low teamwork or work rate, low professionalism, etc... Imagine a team with players like Mario Balotelli, Nile Ranger, Ravel Morrison, Mauro Icardi, etc... with the most troublesome coaching team. Have Joey Barton as the manager, a Paulo Di Canio type as the assistant. It would be fun to see a team implode.
Haha you seem to have put a lot of thought into this. That certainly would add further elements to this experiment. I did an experiment where a team all had the worst personalities possible
Jay, idea for experiment, give one Prem team 20 perfect goalkeepers/ defenders / defensive midfielders, no attacking players become their manager, fix the formation to the most defensive, also give them a transfer embargo and holiday for a season maybe more and see if they can win the league, you could do the opposite with an all out attack team
If you haven't already, the next time you run these experiments you can edit club's manager and set 'squad rotation' to 20 so playing time between your players are more evened out.
Great vid man. Didnt thought of hating each other will be a factor actually. Hahah i think its more for affecting the manager than players i supposed if players hate each other. But if Nott Co able to sustain top 4 each season, i think hating each other not so impactful should i say.. i think the reason they not reaching 200 potential is due to training facility becuz ur early vid shows tat weak training facility wont be able to reach max potential even if they play regularly.. If Nott able to upgrade their facility to state of art then maybe they able to reach max potential..
They did climb to a decent level so I expect at least a couple should have. None getting there was surprising. I think I made a mistake not imposing a transfer embargo, because they could bring players in and create a less hated team dynamic
Can you do a video about mentoring? See its impact on the younger players? Maybe have two 100CA 200PA with 10 Hidden in everything on two different teams and have one Mentor with perfect hidden attributes and one with maybe 14/15 hidden and see how it affects the players?
Yes. I have mentoring on my list. I've tried to make it work, however during simulations, mentoring groups seem to change. I'm trying to work out how to sim and avoid mentoring changing. Just taking some refining. I will definitely get there though 👍 appreciate the idea
@@jayhuahua Perhaps making yourself the manager of the club for the whole season would work. Youd have to reappoint the manager you replace as the assistant, make yourself unsackable, and set up the tactic to the managers preferred tactic. You could do that with two managers or three or however many youd like. Would be hopefully less admin than this video
Can you always check on Hasenhüttl? As a fellow Ralph I appreciate the attention on him, makes me laugh how he almost always seem to manage England for some reason
I'm sure this could be done. I think they'd all learn the laguage very quick though so might have to get creative and take a look. Might be interesting to also have a team that all speaks the same language but not the language of the country they're in? 🤔 like a mini versus kinda thing
That sounds great. Alternatively, in sort of contrast to this, have a team with awful attributes except for anything related to teamwork/cohesion etc and see how they get on @@jayhuahua
Neither haha it is just an organic thing. In these experiments, i randomly started noticing Ralph became England manager ALL the time, so it's just something that's become a thing, and definitely a popular feature for regular viewers. People commented asking what about Ralph when I was forgetting to check 🤣
With the worst players, have to be careful they don't just get relegated out of the playable leagues. I have a variation of this with facilities, just not whole teams. I like what you're suggesting, i think it needs a couple of tweaks to make it work. Let me think on it. Thanks for the suggestion 👍
Robbie right winger 20k and 50 million transfer with 0 games played he have the best agent in the history
I know right. Give that agent a payrise
15:07 that season was crazy, Liverpool who finished 6th was only 3 points away from the title, actually insane
Not sure I actually clocked the point difference. Good spot 👍
the excitement for the fa cup just for it to be from 19th century was hilarious
Glad you enjoyed it 👍 makes doing the reaction live with no prior knowledge worth it

Haha i like that idea. I'd need to add 20 dirtiness aswell. I might just edit 2 top teams that already have a rivalry aswell. Could be carnage haha

Lol sounds great! Perhaps also bravery so they don't hesitate at tackles? I am looking forward to watching it!
Oooh yes a great addition. I'll manage both teams and put Get Stuck In on as an instruction haha

Loving the content rn keep it up!
👍 thanks
Fond memories, Notts County was my first FM team back in FM 2009 or 2010, Kasper Schmeichel was the young GK
I love that. It's amazing the bond you get with a team in a long term FM save. Getting flashbacks and a nostalgic pop for 14 years ago. I love it

Jesus, that must have taken ages, mate!
It did, I've since learned shortcuts which is good for future experiments
For the grunt work 👍🏻
Appreciated as always my dude 👍
Thank you for doing this experiment.
Thanks for the idea, was a great idea and a fun one to see play out 👍
One reason the players don't improve as much as you'd think is unhappiness. Their training rating is probably in the dump.
Yeah absolutely
Fantastic idea for a vid
No credit due here all AC Leeds' idea... I agree though great idea and well worth the hassle of the admin to bring it to life
Players in the experiment may dislike each other but i like this video
👍glad u enjoyed

Interesting how they don't develop fully either in such an environment
I know right... i wonder if it wasn't permanent hatred they'd start to get along
Can you always check on Hasenhüttl? As a fellow Ralph I appreciate the attention on him, makes me laugh how he almost always seem to manage England for some reason
Did i not check in on Ralph in this experiment? I make a conscious effort to, apologies if I forgot. I do enjoy Ralph watch
@@jayhuahua Oh you did! Im just saying I really enjoy that, I find it hilarious
Oh good. There's been a couple historically where I forgot so I do try and remember because it does seem to be a crowd favourite 🤣
What about a 200CA team with 0PA. Is that even possible? If it is how quickly would they regress and drop off?
Potential ability can't be below the current ability. If you move attributes up but not the CA, it falls in a matter of days
Would it be possible to do a team where everyone speaks a different language?
This was a great watch lol

9:40 Man United relegated lmao 😂

But how can people hate good ol' Jack Of All Trades????

as a leicester fan, it feels like this is just leicester 😭😭
Hahaha...
If you could resim it but take off the permanent you could just do a community post or maybe save the video for a few months down the line
I would 100% remove permanent and resim potentially. And yes, down the line. Obviously not anytime soon lol
Got a suggestion - a rubbish team with the worst players but the best facilities and a team with the best players rubbish facilities lower league

Hey I have another expirement have a team like this with 20 dirtiness so the will get red cards and forfeit matches
Haha 😄 interesting... i like it. I wonder if the game can cope with that?
Can we talk about Man Utd getting relegated in '36? Wtf
I'd rather not dwell on this tbh 🤣🤣🤣
