Tom, do this one more time, but start with some leagues (like Polish Ekstraklasa) that starts the season early (July) and play in European Cups qualifications. You miss 4 rounds of qualifications to 3 cups, and even if you lose, you should get some easy wins in those leagues at the start of experiment.
Yes exactly, because those playing in qualification would be teams like malmo, dinamo who farms their respective leagues. Also you could win more if you had managed teams with cup playoff, and there is club world champ or super cups in the beginning of the season

Releasing Coman from Bayern for conceding a penalty made me chuckle more than it should have done.

Countries like Norway or Sweden maybe would have also been a good choice to load. They also have summer seasons and the seasons lasts from April to November.

Regarding Schalke: Its the second pronounciation. So "ShAlke" not "Sholke"
2 o'clock kick-off in Denver, Colorado, is the same time as a 4 o'clock kick-off in Washington, D.C., because of the time difference.
I think this challenge is very possible with the leagues you had loaded, but adding on an extra few leagues in Europe should allow you more scope to move between teams in the same day and give you access to more European fixtures.

Yo, at 10:10 Le Puy is a newly promoted club from 4th division and Avranches is in the 3rd division since 2014.

Would love to see starting at a team like City/PSG/Real/Barca but having to resign every time you don't win and then applying for available jobs; see how far you can fall in one season!
Well, there's a joke/complaint about the postal services round here in Brazil because the international packages have to pass a fiscalization in Curitiba to go the destiny, São Paulo, Manaus, whatever. So, their are stuck there.
Safe to say our little fella Tom got stuck there as well...
My favourite type of video, the last one give me inspiration to play for 3 days in a row, which is a lot more than I'd done in a while. Thanks Tom. I sort of done this challenge but used friendlies also. Was really good finding out tabs and sections of FM I have never used

As an Ipswich fan, can confirm that being 2-0 up at half time and somehow losing 3-2 sounds about right.
You forgot to load Sweden and Norway. These leagues keep playing all through the summer and if you also load up their second divisions, PostNord-ligaen and Superettan, there will be enough matches to finish this challenge easily.
That's certainly something to do for next time!
@@TomFM Norway and sweden also have seasons from late March/early April to late October/early December

FM is always FM. I also try using Juventus and end up 3 straight Draw, Bayern 2 Win 2 Loss, Real Madrid 2 Draw 1 Loss and Arsenal 2 Loss 1 Draw. I also stuck in Ligue 1 for 1 and half month. End up just finish 52 club only.
I think you should include more leagues to expand your choices especially in asia. Malaysia have monday, tuesday and friday fixture for you to cover.

Hi Tom. What about a similar challenge where you have to manage all 92 English League clubs in one season. Same rules but you have to start as Lincoln.

Not that I know of, it gets very tiresome doesn't it!

I love that Netherlands is included in your video, but I hate that it's named Holland in FM 😅
I once did something similar. I took a team (I think Dortmund) and I could play up to 3 games with him. But, if I lost, I had to go to the team that would have beaten me. It was good, although I didn't make it to a whole season.
I think we should do this again but perhaps introducing a league ban of only being able to visit a league once a week

I did look at this, it seems like Football Manager doesn't take into account timezones sadly
Would be interesting to finish it in a speedrun i.e. how many games does it take you get to 100 and then trying to whittle down those numbers

I have an idea for an experiment. You create a Wonderkid Striker and leave it as a free transfer.
As soon as his club loses in a knockout game he has to transfer to this club for the next season.
According to the motto "If you can't beat them, join them".
