Ah my bad! I forgot to include the link! I have done so already now, you can find it here at 2:39 (the upper-right corner where the ℹicon is) and at 9:23
@@carmenateclanguage611 thanks so much. So kind of you to provide this content. So many of us in the UK trying to learn Cantonese because of all the HKers moving here.
You are right that it is not very commonly used like that, especially out of context. This example is to highlight the possible usage of 係 to link a noun and an adjective
@@carmenateclanguage611so recommend to remove the 2nd second 靚 , for a native, if you keep it that means there is a but afterwards, which means there is or are conditions that define his or her beauty.
@@christyip6917 thank you for reminding me of this, I have added a note to my description to highlight this. I will pay more attention to make sure I explain everything thoroughly in the future.
👍👍👍Cantonese sounds so beautiful 😘
this is super helpful! 💖
Love this video! The way you break down Cantonese makes it so much easier to learn. Can’t wait for more lessons! 🙌🏼😊
Thank you so much for your support! 🤗
It's good that you did one video just to explain in detail about ''係” which I think crucial for canto learners. 唔該!🙏
I'm glad it has been helpful! 😊
Cantonese is a very cute language. Thank you!
Wow nice❤
Thanks so much. But i couldn't see the links in the video that you mentioned... Please can you help?

I’m a native hongkonger. We don’t say 佢靚係靚, it sounds wired. We would say 佢真係好靚 for “she/he/it is indeed beautiful”.
