The month of November is the Hindu Heritage Month, as recognized by the Ontario Government per Bill 56. On this auspicious occasion, KAILASA Canada, under the guidance of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, hosted a live Pan-Canadian online event, bringing key Hindu organizations together. The goal was to bring awareness about various aspects of Hindu ecosystem, to highlight the contributions of Hindu Canadians and to share about the importance of preserving the Hindu ecosystem for all.
The Hindu ecosystem provides sustainable solutions in various fields such as:
-Health (physical and mental health, especially during the pandemic),
    -Science and technology,
    -Education,
    -Peaceful coexistence,
-Environment and sustainable living (combating climate change),
    -Women empowerment,
-Community service support through yoga, meditation and food distribution, etc.
Furthermore, the Hindu ecosystem is all-inclusive and serves all, irrespective of nationality, gender, religion, race, socio-economic status, etc.
The contribution of KAILASA Canada to Canadian society, under the guidance of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, has been a revival of both authentic Hinduism and providing humanitarian services. KAILASA Canada has major hubs in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
KAILASA’s Canada Temple was established in 2011 in Toronto to bring back the authentic Hindu practices for the larger Hindu population in GTA and nearby cities.
As part of our outreach initiatives, we have enriched thousands of Canadians, with mental, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing. The social impact results in reduced poverty along with increased life positivity, as well as alleviating human suffering and fostering peace and fulfillment for everyone irrespective of nationality, religion, race, gender or economic status.
During the last two years, we have been conducting 18 different online classes daily free of cost. Throughout these classes we provide yoga, meditation, spiritual counselling, empowerment techniques and much more.
During the pandemic, our volunteers mobilized to donate thousands of pounds of food to local food banks, educational facilities, indigenous women shelters, etc. and provided free online support through free yoga, meditation, prayer events and women empowerment classes, to help our fellow citizens to sail through the pandemic.
Over the last 10 years, 500,000+ meals have been served by KAILASA Canada. Throughout the pandemic starting from March 2020 until now, 10K+ people have been served in Ontario alone.
