Srikant ji, Excellent video. Topic, content , language, delivery, length all excellent. I am forwarding your video to all people I know. Thanks, and God bless you.
This pickle gets better the longer it sits in the brine. My family has finished the second jar already and I have decied to lock them in the stainless steel cupboards that we have here
Interesting take on tumeric relish. Excellent how to, but this isn't actually a ferment that I'm used to. I'm looking forward to trying a ferment in about a 2% brine, later this year!
This can be totally fermented in 2% brine. I am quite casual about quantities , I keep putting until a voice in the back of my head says stop. 😆And my food is not salty at all🙃
I usually have a small batch of turmeric ginger carom seeds and black pepper in lemon juice (fresh not fermented) and eat a spoonful before meals for better digestion. I need to try this out looks good :) I have a question they say water is the enemy for any fermentation and is always recommended to use a dry spoon while handling pickles how come water is actually added in this fermentation?
Water is not the enemy of fermentation, in fact the brine fermentation happens in water. However, when the fermentation process has started already, you should indeed only use a dry and clean spoon to take it, in order to not mess with the active bacteria. I'd recommend to watch Anastasia's videos about fermentation on our channel, it may help: ruclips.net/video/aX0f6P-q24s/видео.html (2)
I would get store brand make sure it says with the mother. Bragg's brand unfortunately was sold out and I don't trust it anymore. I get the off brands/store brands and they have always seemed really good! Better than the Bragg's now days
Too much turmeric may cause acid reflux, and digestion issues, and may lead to kidney stones in certain individuals, as it contains oxalates. As a general guideline, a safe and commonly recommended dosage of turmeric powder for adults is 1-3 grams per day, which is equivalent to approximately ½ to 1 ½ teaspoons. The fresh turmeric equivalent is more or less the same.

I would like to see how/when/with what this is eaten?
I think mainly it's to take a tsp a day for health.
Bc of the tumeric he said you don't want to eat a lot
But we don't use water in pickle.is adding water safe to consume after week
Can you use the Apple Cider Vinnegar with the Mother (Brand) with this?
Yes you can use ACV as well. It might just be more expensive.
Thank You@@HappyBellyfish
Can u name the brand of raw vinegar
I would get store brand make sure it says with the mother. Bragg's brand unfortunately was sold out and I don't trust it anymore.
I get the off brands/store brands and they have always seemed really good! Better than the Bragg's now days
When you say raw vinegar what does that mean. We see all the vinegar in store in bottles. White, wine, apple etc.
it means Unpasteurised vinegar
What happens if you consume too much turmeric? Tku

@@HappyBellyfish tku so much for yr reply.
what is raw vinegar
Any Vinegar that is unfiltered, unprocessed and unpasteurised.
Apple cider vinegar will say "with the mother"
It is not heated strained or processed in any way and contains all the healthy stuff (mother)

👍
Why is it that you don't want to eat too much turmeric?
Above your question he answered the same question!
@@beatcat1265 thanks for reminding me of this video haha I’m going to make it now
You look like ranveer brar 😄
you know how offended he would be :). He is a Legend - a god like creature and master story teller :)
Using vinegar in fermentation proccess kills the good bacteria.
Not with the raw with the mother apple cider vinegar apparently. He explained that in the video...did you not watch it
If you eat this with healthy fat it can also increase the bioavailability.
😅. 😭ഡി
