Did you get your bell back? Good habit/reflex to put the bell on the sand spike. Even on a rock shoreline it’s a good idea because you or a friend could step on it, especially at night.

How do you keep the Oama on casting like that? Mine flies off hook so easy? I’ve tried near dorsal, eye area, nostrils etc.
If I cast with any oomph, they fly off
Maybe a future YT short on how you hook yours?

I simply always use a longer hook line with live bait. When I use a shorter hook line and longer lead, the bait will fly off 90% of the times. 😅Thank you for watching!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! He put a good amount of power into his cast, yet his bait didn't fly off. Whenever I use live bait, I always gotta be real careful and make my casts very lightly, unfortunately, I don't get much distance when I cast like that.
